I find Togal.AI incredibly useful for my home renovation takeoffs, especially with its capability to assist in keeping files organized. I love the ease of using its takeoff tools, making it simple for me to perform takeoffs on drawings and then download the results as an Excel sheet with the totals. This feature is particularly helpful during the estimation process while waiting for official pricing. I enjoy being able to create different quantities in a single takeoff and use custom formulas, enhancing my ability to manage projects effectively. I experience occasional bugs when using Togal.AI, specifically when opening drawing sheets in multiple tabs. If I have more than two tabs open, the drawings do not load properly, which forces me to revert to a single tab. The ToGal team has been fantastic on training and addressing hurdles in our downloads of plans. Corey Harrison has be more than helpful and put in the extra time to ensure project takeoffs go smoothly. His help and availability has made working with ToGal amazing.

Automatic take-offs; sometimes it'll take off more or items that you did not want to capture, causing rework. Which may have just been easier to do it manually.

So far, not much. There are a couple things I wise it had, such as: 1) capabilities to do a takeoff only from a selected area on a sheet of the drawings. It will only take off the entire sheet. 2) for counts it would be nice to be able to just select ones that pertain to our trades. 3) I'm having issues with Togal.AI doing takeoffs on elevation drawings. 4) I find it a little cumbersome to negative from various pages without opening several web tabs. Togal accurately saves me hundreds of clicks and time. After the initial setup Togal can get you to 60% completion on your plans with one click. Their customer service is great, I have not had a question they could not answer. Togal is part of our daily operation now and it is saving us hours.
