"Essential Security Tool with Room for Interface Improvements"
5/5
What do you like best about Todyl Security Platform?

I like the ease of use of Todyl Security Platform once it is set up, as it provides peace of mind. I would consider using Todyl for a personal business if it were available to individual business owners. I also really value the SGN feature because it offers a great solution for remote clients and helps keep all traffic secure without the need for a traditional VPN. Additionally, the SIEM feature is important as it provides insights into events and helps manage and monitor security events. The initial setup of the platform was fairly simple according to what I'm told. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Todyl Security Platform?

I am not a huge fan of the most recent update that used to be agents and are devices now. When selecting a specific device for something, you can't select the device next to its hostname, you have to line the device up to the one you want and go over to the right of the screen and select the one you are working on. "Streamlined Alerting with Great Support"
4.5/5
What do you like best about Todyl Security Platform?

I find Todyl Security Platform very useful for streamlining log aggregation and centralizing alerting across our client organizations and services. The MXDR notes and the ability to access original records are particularly helpful. Having a summary cuts down on the amount of time we spend sifting through details while still allowing us to verify data points. The initial setup was relatively easy, thanks to the assistance from the Todyl support and engineer teams. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Todyl Security Platform?

One main improvement would be in the MXDR service, which we find sometimes client orgs being mixed up by the MXDR team--worst case scenario is when it appears there is some erroneous copying and pasting among clients. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Response from Zach DeMeyer of Todyl Security Platform

We appreciate your response and partnership, Sam! It's great to hear the ways Todyl is helping you provide your clients with elite cybersecurity while making the process easer for you and your team. Regarding your feedback about MXDR, we strive to provide cybersecurity service tailored to each of your clients, so if we have areas to improve, we'd greatly appreciate if you could post your specific issue to Todyl Community as well. Our team will reach out to help!

"All-in-One Security Solution with Proactive Threat Hunting"
4.5/5
What do you like best about Todyl Security Platform?

I like that Todyl Security Platform is proactive in their threat hunting. If an Indicator of Compromise (IOC) is found on a client, they will run this against their entire platform to ensure it's not present in another customer. They also have a commendable approach to customer communication, getting in touch promptly through Teams or a phone call if there's an issue. It has really saved us a headache. Additionally, I think the SASE platform works really well when implemented according to the SOP. The initial setup was pretty easy, and after figuring out our base settings, it was simple to mimic across our customers. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Todyl Security Platform?

I would like to see extra capabilities opened up on the EDR side (i.e. the ability to block USB). I would also like to expand on the SASE portion. I think it would be great to have the ability to setup failover if the customer had two ISPs on the SGN tunnels. I would also like to see the ability to build your own static routes in SASE. "Comprehensive Security Solution with Excellent Support"
4.5/5
What do you like best about Todyl Security Platform?

I really like the Todyl Security Platform's balance between strong security, usability, and partnership. It delivers meaningful security controls without overcomplicating deployment or day-to-day management, which is essential when supporting multiple client environments. The secure access model and policy enforcement are reliable and consistent, and the visibility into traffic and security activity is genuinely useful. End users have a smooth experience, which reduces friction and support tickets. I also appreciate the Todyl team's responsive and knowledgeable support. They show a partner-first approach that makes a real difference and inspires confidence in continuing to build on the platform. The platform's initial setup was straightforward and efficient, with core components easy to deploy, and the Todyl team was responsive and helpful throughout. Plus, Todyl seamlessly integrates with our existing security tools, strengthening access control and network security. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Todyl Security Platform?

As with most evolving security platforms, there are a few areas where Todyl could continue to improve. Reporting and analytics, while useful, could benefit from additional depth and customization—particularly for MSPs who need to quickly generate client-ready insights or compliance-oriented views. There are also opportunities for continued UI and workflow refinement as the platform grows. As new features are added, keeping navigation and configuration flows intuitive will be important to maintain operational efficiency at scale. That said, none of these have been blockers for us. The core functionality is solid, and improvements in these areas would mainly enhance usability and visibility rather than address fundamental gaps. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Integral Security with Impressive Vendor Consolidation"
5/5
What do you like best about Todyl Security Platform?

I like that Todyl Security Platform acts as an extension of our team. They provide a 24/7 SOC, and they proactively shut down endpoints or mailboxes during incidents. The initial setup went pretty well, thanks to the engineer assigned to us who was very helpful. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Todyl Security Platform?

The Autotask PSA integration could use a few more improvements. When a Todyl employee spends time investigating an incident, I wish their ticket notes and their time would automatically be put into our Autotask ticket. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Response from Zach DeMeyer of Todyl Security Platform

Thanks so much for reviewing us, David! We're proud to remain your partner, and that you're achieving key security outcomes for your clients with Todyl. "Comprehensive Security Platform, Effortless Integration"
4.5/5
What do you like best about Todyl Security Platform?

I like that Todyl Security Platform provides multiple security products like SOC, SIEM, and MXDR in one platform, which means I don't have to manage multiple different vendors. It was much easier than expected to set up, and I don't have to staff a SOC for 24/7 monitoring since I can utilize the MXDR team to review all cases. They engage us if we need to take action, which is really convenient. Their support is fantastic, and very quick to respond. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Todyl Security Platform?

I would love for the GRC module to go further in mapping controls, providing proof, etc. for more standards such as CMMC Level 2. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Response from Zach DeMeyer of Todyl Security Platform

Hello Ben, we appreciate you leaving a review. It's great to hear you're consolidating security with Todyl and that MXDR is helping offload burdens while helping you provide top-tier support to your clients! "Simple, Reliable, and Easy Security"
5/5
What do you like best about Todyl Security Platform?

I like how simple and reliable the Todyl Security Platform is. It's a very light agent and nonintrusive, which is great for our clients' endpoint devices. I appreciate that it allows us to establish a VPN for our clients to their office and use remote desktop connection seamlessly. Additionally, Total was very easy to deploy to our clients using our ConnectWise agent install, making it simple to onboard new clients and devices. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Todyl Security Platform?

From time-to-time, on some of the older systems we support, we will have an agent go rogue and consume resources. And then we have to uninstall the SGN Connect agent and reinstall, but this does not happen very often for us. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Response from Zach DeMeyer of Todyl Security Platform

Thanks for your review, Matt! We appreciate you sharing your experiences, and that Todyl has made it easy to provide for your clients with minimal setup. We're continually updating our agents with a heavy focus on performance and stability. You CSM can work with you to ensure you're on the latest version and to escalate any issues you might still be having. You can also share specifics with us in the Todyl Community.

"Effortless SASE Deployment and Unified Security for MSPs"
4.5/5
What do you like best about Todyl Security Platform?

What we like best about Todyl is how simple and effective the SASE deployment is. It’s easy to roll out, works reliably across desktops and mobile devices, and gives us immediate visibility and control without having to manage on-prem hardware. The platform does a good job of consolidating security, networking, and remote access into a single solution that’s practical for small to mid-sized MSP environments. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Todyl Security Platform?

Some areas of the platform still feel like they’re evolving. Certain settings and workflows could be more intuitive, and deeper reporting or customization sometimes requires extra effort compared to more mature platforms. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Response from Zach DeMeyer of Todyl Security Platform
