"Comprehensive Security with Stellar Support and Proactive Monitoring"
5/5
What do you like best about Todyl Security Platform?

I like that Todyl Security Platform is an all-in-one platform. Everything is in one place on one dashboard, so I don't have to go to five different sites to look up information. The agents are extremely helpful, knowledgeable, and quick to respond. The MXDR agents are good at combing through logs, finding patterns, and recognizing things. The MXDR agents are always monitoring for intrusion detection and can proactively shut down and revoke sessions, which is reassuring. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Todyl Security Platform?

They're still working on a lot of new features and the dashboard could use some work. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Comprehensive Security, Simple Setup"

What do you like best about Todyl Security Platform?

I love how feature-rich the Todyl Security Platform is. You get a lot of bang for your buck with the platform. If you use the whole stack offering you get EDR/AV, MXDR, SIEM, SASE, ZTNA, LZT, and GRC. The beauty of it as well is that you can deploy the whole stack or you can deploy each solution al e carte. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Todyl Security Platform?

I don't really have anything that could be improved on. Other than maybe the UI feels a little old. However, it is very snappy and functional. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Response from Zach DeMeyer of Todyl Security Platform

We appreciate your review! It’s excellent to hear that you're getting good use out of the platform and that your deployment is smooth and straightforward; that's been our goal from square one. Keep up the great work!

"Todyl: Effortless Security Management and Stellar MXDR Support"
4/5
What do you like best about Todyl Security Platform?

Todyl is a well-rounded security suite that’s straightforward to manage for technicians at any skill level. At our small MSP, it has been a total game changer. It’s simple to deploy and easy to monitor, and the MXDR team deserves special praise for the work they do. Knowing we can rely on Todyl to monitor our customers’ environments and alert us when something seems out of the ordinary takes a huge burden off our shoulders and gives us real peace of mind. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Todyl Security Platform?

I've only got 2 real complaints about Todyl. Firstly, the UI feels a little too polished sometimes. I remember being a bit frustrated when working with NGFW rules, as sometimes you'll input something and just be met with a red outline on the field. It would be nice if there was an explanation for why the field is invalid. I understand that it might add some UI clutter, but I think it would be better if Todyl would tell you what's wrong.

Secondly, while Todyl is great out of the box and with minor configuration tweaks, I find it difficult to build out more complex configurations. We had a particularly strict cyber insurance requirement for one of our customers, and we tried to use Todyl to fulfill it. We followed Todyl's KB to a T, and the configuration just would not work as planned. We spent months going back and forth with support trying to get things to work and eventually had to figure out a different solution. Support did eventually admit that Todyl would not be capable of what we were trying to accomplish, and that they would have to update or remove the KB article we followed. It would've been nice if we were just told that it's not possible in the first place. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Response from Zach DeMeyer of Todyl Security Platform

"Efficient, Easy-to-Navigate Platform with Powerful SASE and Responsive Support"
5/5
What do you like best about Todyl Security Platform?

The Todyl platform is laid out efficiently and clearly explains any alerts and policies within it's control panels. It's easy to navigate and an effective tool for managing a fleet, or even several fleets of devices. At my company, we've also had great success using their SASE tool to facilitate peer to peer device connections and integration. The Todyl team also is quick to respond to any issues or questions or concerns we bring up! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Todyl Security Platform?

We have had a couple of issues with domain controller connections recently, but this was an edge case scenario and was quickly resolved so it ended up not being a huge issue! Overall the Todyl platform has been super reliable! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Secure, Effortless, Next Level Access that Changes the Game. Breaks the Rules of SASE Engagement!"
5/5
What do you like best about Todyl Security Platform?

The Todyl Security Platform provides secure internet access for our clients employees for our MSSP customers, no matter where they are located. The platform is easy to configure and deploy. The centralized portal makes management simple. While there is room for improvement in the Zero Trust model, our overall experience has been very positive. We have worked with other SASE Platforms and just recntly transitioned from Check Point Harmony due to performance challenges. The move to Todyl was straightforward and fast. A real GAME CHANGER! I would confidently recommend the platform. The support team are fantastic! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Todyl Security Platform?

I fell like there is room for improvement for Connectivity speeds and integrations. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Response from Zach DeMeyer of Todyl Security Platform

Daniel, thank you for reviewing us! We're honored to be your SASE partner of choice to deliver simple, secure connectivity for you and your clients. We've made significant recent improvements to SASE performance that may address some of the improvements you've been waiting for. "Comprehensive Cybersecurity with Exceptional Human Support"
4.5/5
What do you like best about Todyl Security Platform?

We feel Todyl really covers just about every aspect of cybersecurity and our ability to package different tiers and products within the platform making it simple to grow into was one of the biggest selling points for us.

There is alot of human touch involved from their side, from monthly reviews with our AM, to being able to speak direct with a SOC analyst makes a big difference that we have things setup properly and someone is available during an emergency Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Todyl Security Platform?

Just like any security platform there are alot of moving parts and things are always changing. This is more of the industry itself and not just a particular vendor. But this is not a 'set it and forget it' product, you don't need a full time person to manage it, but at least once a month plan to spend some time going through reviewing, checking new things, planning for change etc. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Innovative Unified Security Solution with Room for Growth"
5/5
What do you like best about Todyl Security Platform?

I appreciate the fully unified single agent security that Todyl Security Platform offers. It combines our entire security stack into one platform, reducing complexity and making operations easier. The platform allows us to replace multiple tools, streamlining deployment and onboarding processes. Their exceptional 24/7 MXDR support ensures that their detection engineers respond instantly, even on weekends, providing peace of mind during incidents. I find the ease of deployment impressive, as it's quick and seamless, working well whether users are in the office, at home, or traveling. The platform provides strong network security capabilities with always-on secure connectivity, zero trust network access, and full visibility into network traffic and reporting right out of the box. The built-in reporting and dashboard deliver value immediately, and the overall experience feels modern and comprehensive. I also appreciate how Todyl Security Platform simplifies security management by replacing a messy collection of tools with its unified echo system that includes SASE, SIM, EDR, NGAV, MXDR, and GRC. This single-agent platform simplifies management and gives me full visibility across users, endpoints, and networks. The responsive support team makes the onboarding process smooth, and the streamlined single-agent architecture allows setup to be done in minutes with most configurations being straightforward. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Todyl Security Platform?

While Todyl delivers an impressive all-in-one security stack, there are still some areas that could be improved. A few modules are still evolving, and more customization around SIEM, dashboard, and reporting would be helpful for advanced workflows. The breadth of the platform also creates a bit of a learning curve, especially during initial architecture planning. Pricing may feel high for smaller clients, and I'd like to see more third-party integrations added over time. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Response from Zach DeMeyer of Todyl Security Platform

Thanks so much for your review, Khrizia! It's great to hear such a thorough rundown of the ways we're helping, as well as where we can improve. We're constantly investing product development and are developing ways to tackle some of those advanced workflows. If there is additional help that we can provide, your CSM can coordinate with our onboarding and deployment engineering (ODE) team to help. We'd appreciate if you would reach out either directly or in the Todyl Community so we can find a way to streamline your experience!

"Todyl Unifies Security and Networking into One Cohesive, Scalable Platform"
5/5
What do you like best about Todyl Security Platform?

I like Todyl because it simplifies what’s usually a fragmented approach to security and networking.

Instead of juggling multiple tools, it brings everything into a single platform that’s easier to manage and scale.

From a technical standpoint, that means better visibility, more consistent policy enforcement, and less time spent maintaining integrations that shouldn’t be necessary in the first place.

Our experience with them as a Partner has been fantastic, and their SOC customer support is excellent. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Todyl Security Platform?

One downside with Todyl is that its platform has been built largely in-house and evolved organically rather than through acquisitions. That approach can mean slower development cycles compared to vendors that rapidly expand features by integrating third-party products. If you’re looking for immediate access to a wide range of mature capabilities, that pace can sometimes feel limiting.

That said, the trade-off is a much more cohesive and consistent platform once those features are delivered. Because everything is designed to work together from the ground up, it tends to integrate more cleanly and operate more reliably than stitched-together solutions. In practice, it results in a smoother experience overall, even if it requires a bit more patience upfront. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Seamless Security and Stellar Support"
5/5
What do you like best about Todyl Security Platform?

What stands out most is the support and partnership Todyl provides. Their team is highly responsive and feels like an extension of my own, so if I ever run into an issue or have a question about the platform, I know I can reach out and get meaningful help quickly. The platform itself is easy to work with, but having that level of backing behind it gives me a lot of confidence. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Todyl Security Platform?

At this point, there is very little to dislike. The only thing on my wish list would be a dedicated hardware appliance option to complement the existing security capabilities, which would give even more flexibility in certain environments. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Response from Zach DeMeyer of Todyl Security Platform

Brad, thank you for your review! It's great to hear working with us is like an extension of your own team! While Todyl is a cloud native platform, if there are specific architectural requirements that may help you out, please work with your CSM to arrange time with our product team to discuss the details. You can also engage with them throught the Todyl Community.

"Comprehensive Security Suite with Stellar Support"
5/5
What do you like best about Todyl Security Platform?

I find the account managers to be great, always taking the time to listen and provide feedback. It's nice that limitations are considered when pushing out new features, and the feature roadmap looks promising. The support engineers usually respond pretty quickly, which is good. The onboarding engineer was excellent too. I really appreciate that a security suite helps with integration within the different tool stack, making it easier to consolidate instead of having to haphazardly integrate everything. The deployment is simple because of this cohesive suite. Having responsible and responsive account managers makes it easy to use both the product and service. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Todyl Security Platform?

The API is limited but in development, and reporting can be improved. Currently, reporting relies on SIEM to pull relevant data, and I'd like an option for CSV export of asset details. Although these issues are being addressed and are on the roadmap, they are areas where improvement is needed. The API is in alpha, and there are many improvements that can be made. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Response from Zach DeMeyer of Todyl Security Platform

Hello James, we appreciate your review! Thanks for shouting out our team who work tirelessly to provide you with the best experience with our consolidated security platform. We've made a number of recent additions to our API capabilities, which are now available for all Todyl users. Feel free to work with your CSM or stop by Community to learn more!
