"Simple, Effective, and Keeps Me on Track"
3/5
What do you like best about Todoist?

I love being able to type tasks naturally (like “submit report Friday at 3pm”) and have Todoist set everything up automatically. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Todoist?

For very complex projects, Todoist can feel a bit too minimal compared to more advanced project‑management tools. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Solid tool for cross-functional product teams, but scaling costs can be prohibitive"
3.5/5
What do you like best about Todoist?

The integration capabilities with tools we use daily across JIRA and Slack make task management seamless. As a PM managing multiple NOCR workstreams, having tasks sync across platforms without manual duplication has saved our team significant time. The kanban view is particularly useful for tracking sprint workflows. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Todoist?

The pricing structure becomes steep when scaling across a larger team. For a commercial credit card product team with multiple departments, we found ourselves evaluating alternatives because per-seat costs add up quickly. Also, the API rate limits can be restrictive when we need real-time data syncing with our internal systems for stakeholder dashboards. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Perfect for Small Team Task Management"
5/5
What do you like best about Todoist?

I like how Todoist is easy to use in teams. It's great that everyone on the project gets notifications on task comments, which helps keep everyone informed even if the task is not assigned to them. Additionally, I appreciate being able to get task reminders, plan our day through the calendar view, and share updates. It's also helpful that anyone can add or create tasks through email, so even people who don't work directly in Todoist can contribute. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Upcoming View Makes Task Management Effortless"
5/5
What do you like best about Todoist?

I like the Upcoming view for time block management the best. This view of current tasks is a great overview of my tasks and makes it easy to organize the day and week. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Todoist?

Some functions can be a little buggy. Moving tasks around in the Upcoming calendar view can be tricky as the tasks fall into the wrong time slot sometimes. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Simple and Easy to Use Todo List App"
4.5/5
What do you like best about Todoist?

It has a clean and easy-to-use interface that helps me add daily tasks, organize them, and mark them as completed. The labeling system also helps me categorize tasks, making it easier to filter and manage them. It had both desktop and mobile versions. So I can easily maintain tasks whether I am at work or I am on vacation.

I once got the premium version, and their customer service was really good. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Todoist?

There are no custom themes and full UI personalization options. The reminders feature is only available for premium plan users, which limits casual users. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Probably one of the simplest to-do apps I've used"
4.5/5
What do you like best about Todoist?

- The user experience. I've used the app for quite a while, and it NEVER felt like a drag.

- The interface is minimal and doesn't overwhelm you. I think knowing you've got your stuff together puts you in the right mindset.

- And I love their blog. It may not be pertinent to this, but their summary of Cal Newport's Deep Work is pretty exhaustive, and it's a resource I keep revisiting to get myself on track. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Todoist?

- The only thing that's keeping me from becoming their pro user is their pricing. It's slightly priced more than other players in the market, but I understand how they run the company, so it's justified. More than a dislike, it's just a mismatch. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Beautiful Interface with Plenty of Customization"
5/5
What do you like best about Todoist?

Beautiful interface with lots of customizable options. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Todoist?

Sometimes the syntax of setting up tasks is hard to remember and I have to Google the solution, rather than providing some time of buttons within the interface to accomplish the same thing (like with repeating tasks with or without the exclamation point). Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
