Tock is extremely flexible and useful - it allows us to plan for a number of different service scenarios and to quickly and easily maintain waitlists and update on the fly over the course of a shift. Training can take a while for staff who are used to other tools and mistakes can be made a little too easily that don't have an easy way to undo. The cost is a little high. I like that we are able to offer multiple experiences for guests to book and are not limited to one experience per table. This makes managing reservations much easier. From a customer perspective, we have gotten a fair amount of feedback that they cannot modify their reservation easily, so there is still some reservation managment we must do. It takes some time getting used to the way Tock works. Also the app could use an update. It's hard to access Tock from smaller devices like a phone. Also since the last update it's hard to see what is someone's occasion when they come to the restaurant. The reservation setup was a little confusing at first when switching over from OpenTable. However, after familiarizing myself with the platform, I find this to work well for my work functions.
