The platform converts unstructured information into machine-readable formats without manual data entry or model training. Users create a dedicated inbox, specify data fields, and submit documents via drag-and-drop, email, or API. The system processes files in the background, tracks submission status, and delivers data in formats such as Excel, CSV, JSON, or webhooks. Tiro supports diverse document types, including invoices, order confirmations, delivery notes, bank statements, rent rolls, mill test certificates, and lab reports, handling varying layouts effectively. Setting up an inbox takes one field: a name. On the first document the AI proposes the fields and columns, and from then on every document of that inbox lands in the same table shape, with ISO dates and real numbers instead of text in the source format. Fields can be renamed, added, or sharpened with an instruction at any time. For recurring layouts, deterministic templates reproduce the same result without AI cost. An optional review step holds results until a person approves or corrects them, and every document has a visible status, so failures are never silent. What sets Tiro apart is its built-in MCP server: AI assistants such as Claude and ChatGPT connect directly to Tiro, create inboxes, define fields, write and test extraction templates against sample documents, and retrieve results. Users only review. Tiro also integrates with automation tools such as n8n and Zapier, and offers a REST API with API keys and signed webhooks for direct integration into ERP, CRM, or in-house systems. Tiro offers GDPR-compliant processing hosted in Germany, with AI processing in the EU (AWS Frankfurt), no training on customer documents, TLS encryption, a data processing agreement included, and configurable retention policies that allow users to set document deletion timeframes per inbox.
