What do you like best about TinyURL?

TinyURL is a good link shortening service. You can use it directly without any sign ups or even use their plugin to directly shorten any website you are on.

"Useful for sharing links to private wiki pages built over time"

What do you like best about TinyURL?

Part of my role includes lecturing students and over the years, I have documented several wiki pages on the intranet - which is accessible externally. The platform we use does not allow customisation of urls linking into the internet. What I have done instead is use tinyurl to create easily understood links as part of my wiki links collection Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about TinyURL?

There is nothing to dislike, it is free - the only catch is that the site doesn't tell you if your chosen custom url is already taken and just goes ahead and creates one anyway Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about TinyURL?

TinyURL has been around for years and still is the best URL shortener. It's very convenient to use and because it is very well known people trust the links you sent them. The analytics functions are very helpful to track the traffic as well. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about TinyURL?

Their homepage is still the same for years. Not that big of a deal but a little re-design of the homepage wouldn't hurt. Also, a lot of URLs are taken already so it is pretty hard to find a URL that is free from time to time. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is TinyURL solving and how is that benefiting you?

I use TinyURL for a texting service as characters are very valuable when sending out thousands of texts. When using TinyURL I shorten the URLs and safe characters and money. What do you like best about TinyURL?

TinyURL has been around for a long time and still kicking. Underrated while it is the only, link shortening service I know of that offers custom url. Browser plugin also allows you to shorten links on the specified page you are at. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about TinyURL?

Tinyurl is easily accessible from any device and is simple to use. It shortens our URLs within seconds. It also gives great reports on the content analytics that it obtains from the links. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about TinyURL?

I loveTinyURL's Chrome plugin that makes it a no brainer to instantly shorten URL's. Failing that I can do so quickly and easily directly on the TinyURL.com website even if I'm not on my own computer. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
