When I save transparent images for clients whom utilize social media as their primary source of advertising, sites such as Facebook or Pinterest perform an automated compression if images are above say, 100kb in size. Which makes them blurry and unappealing. TinyPNG will literally take an ad I’ve created and remain 100% crisp and concise, taking it down to an 8-bit PNG while looking like the original. It’s great. It took a bit of a learning curve in order to utilize the program. Unlike the Adobe Suite where I was trained to use in my past education, it took me a bit in order to learn exactly how to master the art of its intent. But I wouldn’t say it was terrible.
