What do you like best about Tinkercad?

1. Online, you have it with you when you need it, to fix something quickly.

2. very very easy to learn and use!!

3. you can group and ungroup objects so it's not destructible like other software. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Tinkercad?

sometimes the connection is not so good, especially when you teach it in a class with many computers. some of the operation is so complex so the software freeze and can't make what you want so it's not so good for very complex designs. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Excellent 3D design and printing software with Tinkercad."
4.5/5
What do you like best about Tinkercad?

Tinkercad is software that only requires an Internet connection and a browser to operate. It is free, has a user-friendly interface, and requires very little learning time so that in a few hours you can have your first creations ready, which can be exported in STL format to print from a 3D printer. It is especially designed to be used even by children and those with little knowledge in this area, as it has never been presented as a professional application, but rather seeks simplicity and initiation into three-dimensional printing. It is completely free and it is possible to access a repository of files with creations from other users. If we wish, we can also share our designs there for everyone to see. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Tinkercad?

As I have already mentioned, Tinkercad is too simple for a user looking for a more professional tool. It is impossible to obtain very complex designs. It should also be mentioned that it is necessary to have an Internet connection to use it, as well as to register beforehand with an email address. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Tinkercad?

I love the ability to drag and drop basic shapes, import external shapes, and the intuitive interface Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Tinkercad?

Sometimes it is over-simple, import options are limited in size, and any modifications beyond fairly basic shapes are tricky Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Good"
3.5/5
What do you like best about Tinkercad?

It’s more intuitive than SketchUp and easier to learn, which is a great advantage in educational contexts, as it is difficult to give up working hours to learn curves. Shapes can be stretched, reshaped, copied and pasted, grouped, and various shapes joined to create a new shape. A blank canvas is included as a shape generator that lets you create custom and unique shapes. Shapes can also be imported from designs created in other software or from URLs. What do you dislike about Tinkercad?

It doesn’t work offline and There are limits to what you can design with this program however. Because this program uses geometric shapes, it can be difficult to get really creative because you can’t really draw freeform shapes to exactly what you want to draw. You have to understand how to do it within the provided forms and limitations of the software. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Tinkercad can be used in middle school to high school in education. "
5/5
What do you like best about Tinkercad?

I find that Tinkercad is so easy to use and adapt for education. I used it as a starting point for computer aided designing in my 9th grade art track classes, for jewelry design. We created 3D printed jewelry designs. The students had never worked on a computer for designing but were so excited about using the program that they worked on them in class and in school. What do you dislike about Tinkercad?

I find understanding 3D space is very confusing for many. I think that it would be helpful for a beginners tutorial on understanding 3D space, x,y, and z axis. I like many of my students, got my pieces lost in space many times because I could not "understand" how to connect the spaces. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"tinkercad. your 3d pieces quickly and easily."
3/5
What do you like best about Tinkercad?

Tinkercad is excellent. It is free, fun, elegant, intuitive, powerful, and versatile. It works online, from the browser, without installations, you just have to register, and soon you will be in front of an intuitive interface that will make things much easier for you when creating amazing pieces that you can export and print on your 3D printer. Additionally, you can share or access and download numerous models and examples created by other people who share them selflessly. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Tinkercad?

The worst part is that by operating online, it can sometimes "freeze." The tools offered are too oriented towards the learning of a novice user, so the results will never be entirely professional. It is more of an educational tool, and within that scope, it more than fulfills its purpose. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
