"Best for 3D printing and early geometrical understanding!"
4.5/5
What do you like best about Tinkercad?

We love TinkerCad because of how easy it use and learn. Our students use TinkerCad for 3D modeling and it is helpful because they get to understand the basics of modeling and implementation on this easy platform. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Tinkercad?

I wish there was more tutoritals on how to do more advanced builds in TinkerCad. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Great for beginners"
4/5
What do you like best about Tinkercad?

Its interactive and easy to understand. Its a great learning tool for beginners who want to learn more about engineering. I love the CAD and the circuits modules Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Tinkercad?

The CAD tool will at times get messed up with the dimensions in 3D. You have to be careful with how you enter measurements for all the three dimensions. Apart from that its pretty great. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Allows us to make the most RAPID prototypes..."
5/5
What do you like best about Tinkercad?

Super accessible easy to use software. Simple enough to use for absolute beginners, but flexible enough to make rapid prototype designs to test for minimum viable products. I highly recommend the tutorials, even if they seem too easy for you, they're a great way to get started FAST with TinkerCAD. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Tinkercad?

Occasionally I need a more control on how to view the piece or for aligning holes or hardware placement than TinkerCAD allows. But this is a small price to pay for just being able to get in there a fiddle with it until it's right! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Best online simulation tool"
5/5
What do you like best about Tinkercad?

Arduino module, they have made it the best simulator I can find which requires no setup, is free to use and even has an animation for specific Arduino modules. It also has pre-made modules for Arduino and even a code editor with a debugger. You can share the design and even pick one from the open-source community. You can label your circuit and its components and even if you don't know coding you can use blocks mode and simulate your hardware. It also has a serial monitor will helps a lot. You can also get a schematic view.

It also has 3D modelling which is also free and easy to use. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Tinkercad?

Limited availability of hardware modules to be added to Arduino. Errors in showing compilation errors location. Some basic modules can be added in raw component form like along with Arduino they can add an Atmega328p microcontroller, it is the same as Arduino, just some missing components like clock and capacitors. PCB design can also be added with an option to print it. Also, it would be great if we can add some 3d models with circuits and enhance our presentation. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"TinkerCAD- A great tool for designing circuits online"
4.5/5
What do you like best about Tinkercad?

TinkerCAD helped me to design various circuits and design 3D models quite easily.

To design a circuit, we need to search, drag & drop the components and it is that simple.

Creating a simple and complex design is very simple and easy to learn and implement.

The UI is user-friendly and uncomplicated. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Tinkercad?

Navigating is a little bit hard at first.

The app's crashing makes the user experience a little worse for the people in 3d designing for a long time, but it is what it is.

Since it is web-based software, you need to keep a good internet connection every time. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Tinkercad is a great software for 3D modeling"
5/5
What do you like best about Tinkercad?

Tinkercad is a very complete web-based software for 3D modeling. It is super easy to use and understand, and you can create very complex 3D shapes by combining basic shapes.

I also like all the different shape generators that let you create complex geometries by just changing parameters. At first view, it seems like it is software just for kids, but if you try it, you will find that it is a powerful software to 3D model. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Tinkercad?

It is hard to find something that I don't like about Tinkercad, but what I would like it to have is that it could be awesome if it lets you change the accurate dimensions of a shape when you have rotated. Currently, it allows you to change the dimensions after you have rotated a shape, but no longer allows you to modify the size of the original width or height, instead of that the measurements it presents are those of the entire object in space and is difficult when you have to modify something accurately, and it is already rotated.
