"Easiest CAD software to learn & use."
5/5
What do you like best about Tinkercad?

I accidentally discovered TinkerCAD on a 3D printing forum. I was immediately blown away by how easy it was to setup the account and get started. It stores designs on the cloud which can be accessed from anywhere. The tool are simple and intuitive to access. You can even import files from other softwares and incorporate into your own design. Specially for regular 3D printing folks its a everyday tool that cannot be looked over, its literally like making LEGOs. Its fun to use, and is functional. If you get stuck, there's also a very nice forum with a very nice community. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Tinkercad?

For some applications it is too simple, some of the tools that you might need for advanced stuff is missing too. I use it regularly so I sometimes have to contact support, but the response is not always great. But its free. I can live with that. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Best Arduino simulator out there!"
5/5
What do you like best about Tinkercad?

Tinkercad satisfies all your requirements when it comes to Arduino Programming. It is so simple to use and provides all the components that you would need to make your circuit. The interface is smooth and user friendly. You can create basic to complex circuits in Tinkercad. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Tinkercad?

There's not much to be disliked in Tinkercad but, there could be more types of sensors included in the components. They can also add new types of Arduino being made in their collection to increase variability. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"TinkerCad Experience Review"
4/5
What do you like best about Tinkercad?

What I like about TinkerCad is that I can simulate the code and compontents of the Arduino without implementing it on the physical way. We can test the functions and the circuits by the simulation. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Tinkercad?

What I dislike about Tinkercad is that other hardware components are not found in the tools and equipments, which ultimatly lead to not finising the Circuits and Design Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Using Tinkercad for product design."
4.5/5
What do you like best about Tinkercad?

As an Audio Teaching Assistant, I use Tinkercad to create visual interpretations of audio product ideas that spring-to-mind, such as speaker designs. Having initially been introduced to Tinkercad during my higher education, I have continued to use it through my current work. As an online CAD program for 3D design, Tinkercad is incredibly easy-to-use, and is free-of-charge.

Tinkercad allows you to model both simple and more complex designs, of which, can then be downloaded for 3D printing (.STL or .OBJ) or laser cutting (.SVG). Tinkercad also gives you the abilty to draw circuits, as well as join online classrooms, these of which are further excellent features - making Tinkercad great for a learning environment, and a great introduction to the world of CAD. What do you dislike about Tinkercad?

When working on product design using Tinkercad, maneuvering around the 3D model and precisely placing shapes to the correct dimensions can be quite challenging at first. Therefore, it can take a while to get used to the interface for 3D modelling. Although, once familiar with the software, it is very fun to use. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Perfect for those starting in 3D design"
5/5
What do you like best about Tinkercad?

We really liked its easy and simple handling since for someone with little experience in design and preparation for 3D printing, it is very easy. It works very well for making not very complex geometric pieces. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Tinkercad?

For us, it is very basic. We believe it lacks more tools to be more professional; for an advanced level, it falls short. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"An excellent 3D design tool"
5/5
What do you like best about Tinkercad?

My experience with Tinkercad has been wonderful. It is an intuitive and easy-to-use tool, which saves time and is excellent for beginners. Its extensive library of shapes and complex designs allows for streamlining the creation of designs, especially circuits. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Tinkercad?

I really don't have specific areas of opportunity regarding Tinkercad. However, I think it could be mentioned that its user interface, which from my perspective is somewhat outdated, makes it feel strange to design at times. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Useful for electronics prototyping"
3.5/5
What do you like best about Tinkercad?

Tinkercad is a very simple CAD software. The main benefit to the CAD platform is that it is web-based, so if you need to make a very simple part, you can do it online.

The electronics design tab, though, can be very useful for simple breadboard-level schematics. It is not exactly Eagle, or even Fritzing, but it is much simpler and has an almost nonexistant learning curve. It has a fairly substantial library of parts, so if you are, for instance, a Mechanical Engineer doing a project involving simple electronics, like using a microcontroller for a DC motor, this platform might be helpful to plan out your wiring before you build. If you are using Arduino, it also allows you to type your code in and simulate a run to see how the hardware would respond. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Tinkercad?

The CAD in Tinkercad is very simple, and has a lot of limitations. You cannot create circles––only 64-sided polygons. The part creation is strange––you work in 3D the whole time instead of starting with a sketch and extruding. There is also no assembly feature on Tinkercad. So the software is not very useful for professional CAD applications–– it is really only useful for very quickly and simply communicating an idea, sort of the 3D equivalent of back-of-the-napkin drawings. "3D Printing with TinkerCad"
4/5
What do you like best about Tinkercad?

It is a great and easy-to-use platform for creating simple and complex 3D models for a variety of purposes. the user interface is very efficient. It helped me create models for 3D printing and it is highly capable of creating extremely complex designs. I highly recommend it. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Tinkercad?

Although it is very helpful and easy to use for beginners and start-ups. It could use more advanced features in the future that are currently missing to rival more design-oriented professional 3D software. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
