"TimeXtender 20.10.39.64"
5/5
What do you like best about timextender?

The drag n drop functions and the traceability. Data lineage and impact analysis. I also like the easy visuals that shows me the filters per table. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about timextender?

I'm missing a mapping system. When I have a lot of tables in a silo I often have to scroll a lot among tables I rarely use - I'd wish to filter these out. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Amazing, it makes evrything so much faster and reliable."
4.5/5
What do you like best about timextender?

It takes all the repetitive and error prone parts away from managing a Data Warehous. It allows me to focus on the logic and the business side of each project without spending weeks or months writing code I won't use again. The amount of datasource connections that you can make is great. I also like that despite it being LowCode it still runs on good and reliable SQL, meaning that not only is development fast, but contrary to other Low code options, exectuion is super efficient as well. I like that I can create a datamodel in hours, from reading the data from a database or api until deliviring it into PBI. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about timextender?

Sometimes it is difficult to find help online on the go, although it has great customer support. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"5 year experience with the product. Expert level knowledge."
3.5/5
What do you like best about timextender?

Many features that makes the developers life easier. Once you learn it, it is easy to use. Easy to integrate data sources. Good overview of large scale data warehouse projects and has necessary tools to manage big solutions. Very good customer support that is helpful and quick to respond. Helpful online community. Lots of new development is happening with the product. Easy process to promote work from development to production, which makes it a very quick automated process. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about timextender?

Hard to implement, need consultants to do it. Hard to work with more than 2-3 developers. There are limited safeguards for working with multiple developers and it is required by the team to have a good "way of working" to to avoid development conflicts.

The promoting work from development to production unfortunetaly requires everything in development to be pushed to prod. An improvement would be to be able to only promote selected work that is production ready. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Fasttrack your datawarehouse build from scratch"
5/5
What do you like best about timextender?

TimeXtender reduced our time to build a datawarehouse by months, and removed all of the teething troubles I was expecting. Whilst there is a learning curve, and there are tips and tricks to learn to get the most out of the system, the Tech Support I received was second to none from their Australia support. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about timextender?

There is a perception that it is a "black box" and is doing all sorts of things behind the scenes, and in actual fact, it isnt, it's doing exactly what you told it to do, and those with that perception are not representing TimeXtender correctly. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Efficient data workflow solutions for teams"
4/5
What do you like best about timextender?

So far what I like the most of TimeXtender is the way is simplifies the data workflows with their drag and drop features. This really makes it easy to handle data tasks without much manual work. Automational capabilities make it possible to smoothly handle the repetitive process management freeing up some time for more exciting activities. In addition, it is capable of running on multiple data environments at the same time without any interruptions, which is a huge time saver and helps in smooth and uninterrupted operations on different platforms. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about timextender?

TimeXtender offers few options for small changes in how it connects with different systems. The system works well most of the time but it becomes hard to modify settings exactly as needed. Specific requirement updates that need urgent handling get delayed because our system does not handle them with speed. Our work progress slows down when we encounter these fixed settings and we need more time to solve the problems. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
