I would love a pause button on tasks, to save the hassle of selecting the task again. Id like to pause the timer, and restart it a few minutes later (like after a toilet break or child interupting). Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

The fact that there are multiple ways to capture time, or that I can easily without any hassle just see how much time I've logged for the month. I also found it easy to integrate with my other clients as I just add them when necassary. I definitly use it on a daily basis, and can't see myself function without it for a month. I wish there was a time template that acted as a function which could be easily used multiple times. For example, with my main client, I work from 8am to 4pm, it would be nice if I could create a template, using that time period and client, then just selecting the template for each day I spend at the client. I am using the free version on a daily basis as I do not need to use all of the other options (billing rates, clients/invoices/etc.). It provides me and a few of my co-workers exactly what we need since we need to track our working time when working on certain things. I love how easy it was for me to set my co-workers up and that they have the ability to edit their own items since I have added them all as an administrator. Timecamp is intuitive to use and can be used in large organizations. We use it for data entry time auditing. It is a daily staple in our business, and it is very reliable. You can create sub-categories to tasks and assign them tags and it has capabilities to mark time-entries as billable. When I am approving someone's timesheet, you can hover over the approvement tracked time cell and it will show a pop-up of every entry made under that category for the whole week. I'd like it to be day-by-day, otherwise I have to open the timesheet and investigate myself. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I wish you could pick what day of the week to start on, my company starts the week on Saturday, so having to make a custom calendar view to see how many hours I have worked is a minor annoyance. Adding a 2 week view would also be cool in reports to easily see how things are going over a 2 week period. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

As a consultant - I like the ability to customize the hierarchy for Customer, Project, Task as I need. The report and export options have been great - customizable as needed to provide the right level of detail as supporting documents to my clients.

Really though - the best part is probably the desktop timer and the ability to set keywords so that activity will automatically log to the right place - that has saved me tons of time over the years I have been using Timecamp. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

This is NOT a dislike - just an FYI. The auto time logging by keyword WILL take a little bit of time to get set up and flowing the way you want. TimeCamp is very easy to navigate. When you have a lot of quick deadlines it makes it harder to then have to figure out a new program on top of it all. TimeCamp makes it easy without losing out on any of the features. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
