"Easy Setup, User-Friendly, and Great Value for Screenshot Analysis"
5/5
What do you like best about Time Doctor?

How easy it is to set up for a business and how easy it is for the users to understand how to use it and its primary function. The app on the computer immediately starts when installed avoiding the I forgot moment for the users. The performance of the app with the screenshots are easy to analyze specially when identifying issues. Also fairly priced compared to its competitors. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Time Doctor?

How it cannot be integrated with the remote app as we use that for payroll, it has limited apps that it supports. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Boosts Transparency, but Deep Issues Can Be Hard to Spot"
3/5
What do you like best about Time Doctor?

I like that it helps keep everyone honest and transparent while they’re on the clock. It also makes it easier to track and address issues with an employee without having to rely on assumptions. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Time Doctor?

It can be difficult to tell when a problem employee is actually a deeper, ongoing issue. I’ve had to monitor one employee for months because they clearly have concerns: their idle minutes can be high while their activity levels don’t look alarming, and other times it’s the opposite. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Response from Mina Park of Time Doctor

Hi Natalya,

Thanks for taking the time to share your experience with Time Doctor. We appreciate the honest feedback.

We’re glad to hear the platform has helped bring more transparency and made it easier to have objective conversations around productivity and performance across your hybrid team. One of our goals is to help managers rely less on assumptions and more on clear, consistent visibility into work patterns.

We also understand your concerns around identifying when performance patterns may point to a deeper or ongoing issue. Metrics like activity levels and idle time can sometimes require additional context depending on the role, workload, and working style of the employee. Feedback like this is important as we continue improving how managers can better identify trends and gain clearer insights over time. Our support team will be reaching out to learn more about your experience and better understand the challenges you’re seeing. We’d love the opportunity to help and share recommendations that may improve visibility for your specific use case.

Thanks again for your feedback and for being part of the Time Doctor community.

"Bringing Transparency and Structure to Remote Work"
5/5
What do you like best about Time Doctor?

I like the transparency and accountability it brings to remote work. It gives clear visibility into how time is being spent, which helps identify productivity patterns, inefficiencies, and training needs without relying on guesswork. The activity tracking, screenshots, and reports make it much easier to manage performance, especially for distributed teams. It also helps create fairer payroll and performance evaluations because everything is based on actual tracked work, not just assumptions or self-reported hours. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Time Doctor?

One downside of Time Doctor is that some features, like screenshots and activity tracking, can feel a bit intrusive to certain team members if they’re not used to time-tracking tools. There are also moments when the app may record idle time or activity a little inconsistently, which requires occasional manual review. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Response from Mina Park of Time Doctor

Hi Patricia, Thanks for the thoughtful review, we really appreciate you sharing this.

We’re glad Time Doctor is helping bring transparency, structure, and fairness to how remote work is managed, especially around productivity, payroll, and performance. That shift away from guesswork toward objective data is exactly what we aim to support.

We also hear your feedback around screenshots and activity tracking feeling intrusive for some team members, as well as the need for occasional manual review. Clear communication, flexible settings, and ongoing product improvements are important here, and your input helps guide that work.

Thanks again for the balanced and detailed feedback.

"Time Doctor user review"
1/5
What do you like best about Time Doctor?

Time Doctor provides useful productivity and time-tracking features, but I haven't noticed many significant new capabilities recently. While reporting and monitoring are effective, the overall experience feels largely unchanged compared to previous versions. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Time Doctor?

Time Doctor should improve reporting flexibility, dashboard customization, and overall application performance. A more modern and streamlined user experience would make the platform easier to use Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Response from Laura Ramsay of Time Doctor

Hi Murtuza,

Thank you for sharing your feedback. We’re glad to hear Time Doctor has been useful in task assignment, tracking progress, and supporting your QA processes.

We understand your concern around micromanagement — in our experience, this usually depends on how the tool is implemented within a team. Many organizations use Time Doctor to empower employees and promote transparency rather than micromanagement, and we provide flexibility to support different approaches.

Regarding system performance, this isn’t something we typically see with Time Doctor, so it may have been an isolated issue. Our support team is always happy to help troubleshoot if it comes up again.

We appreciate your insights, as they help us continue to improve and ensure the best possible experience for all users.

"Clear Time Management, Room for Performance Improvement"
4.5/5
What do you like best about Time Doctor?

I use Time Doctor for time tracking and project management. It helps with clarity of task and time management and is easy to track hours, identify unproductive hours, and assists in budgeting. I really like the clear visibility of hours spent across all tasks and projects. We can download reports on a daily and monthly basis for tasks performed, which helps to identify time-consuming tasks for better guidance to subordinates. The tracking and reporting features give me a clear breakdown of how time is spent on different tasks and projects. Additionally, the initial setup is very straightforward and easy. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Time Doctor?

Sometimes the software is slow and has syncing errors. These errors are sometimes due to poor internet, and improving overall performance and responsiveness could solve the slowness. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Response from Mina Park of Time Doctor

"Effective for Monitoring, Needs Clarity on Activity"

What do you like best about Time Doctor?

I like the screencast feature in Time Doctor because it allows me to track associates' real-time activity and see what they are doing. It's also easy for me to set up, which I appreciate. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Time Doctor?

I am a little bit confused regarding activity level and idle minutes. Actually, associate use one app, and idle minutes are less, but activity level is very low. I am not using the attendance part. No, actually, now I have no idea about other tools to connect with Time Doctor. Maybe I need some course. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Response from Mina Park of Time Doctor

Hi Umar,

Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. We're glad to hear that the screencast feature is helping you monitor your team's real-time activity and that it's been easy to set up for your team.

We also appreciate your feedback about activity levels and idle time. We know these metrics can be confusing at first, and we're working to make them easier to understand. If you'd like to learn more about Time Doctor's features or integrations, our support team is always happy to help.

"Streamlined Time Tracking with Excellent Usability"
5/5
What do you like best about Time Doctor?

I like the ease of use of Time Doctor. The setup was very easy to implement when we initially put it in place. The overall ability to get information in an easier fashion is something I appreciate. The time savings from using Time Doctor has been a huge factor for us since our employees used to track their time manually, which was quite time-consuming. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Time Doctor?

I think right now, the screenshots are linked to an employee editing their time. So you can't have the ability to time without them seeing their screenshots or know that their screen is being captured. An improved feature for us would be having this ability. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Response from Mina Park of Time Doctor

Hi Krista,

Thanks so much for taking the time to share this.

It’s great to hear the setup was smooth and that moving away from manual tracking has saved your team time. That’s exactly the kind of impact we aim for simple to get started, and easier access to the data you need.

On the screenshot visibility, we appreciate the honest feedback. Transparency is something we try to balance carefully with flexibility for different teams, and your note helps highlight where we can improve. I’ll make sure this is shared with the product team.

Really appreciate you sharing your experience with us.

"Crucial for Remote Work, Yet Needs Improved Usability"
4/5
What do you like best about Time Doctor?

I like that Time Doctor blurs the screenshots, which works for my confidentiality. I also appreciate that it reports on what I spend the most time on. I think it's a secure app to use, and I feel very secure using it. The feature that allows me to check how much time I spent on tasks at the end of the week is something I find very useful, as it helps me understand when I'm more productive, whether at night or during the day. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Time Doctor?

What I don't like about Time Doctor is that sometimes, for example, after breaks or when I turn off the application, the sidebar hides, and I forget to activate it. I would like it to be more visible because it works perfectly when I'm not using it. Sometimes it just hides between apps, and I forget to activate it. It would be helpful to have a reminder to turn it on, like every thirty minutes. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Response from Mina Park of Time Doctor

Hi Diana,

Thank you for sharing your experience. We’re glad to hear that features like blurred screenshots and time reports help you feel secure while giving you useful insight into how you spend your work time. It’s great to know the weekly view is helping you better understand your productivity patterns while working remotely.

We also appreciate your feedback about the timer visibility and reminders after breaks. Suggestions like this are helpful as we continue improving the overall usability of the app.

"Privacy and Ease with Time Doctor"
5/5
What do you like best about Time Doctor?

What I like most about Time Doctor is that I can see the activity bar on one side; it doesn't take up much of the screen. I like that the screenshots it takes of the screen are discreet; it doesn't notify me when it does, so I don't have to keep an eye on it. Also, they have the privacy of being blurred. The activity bar helps me keep my time clear without being invasive, and the privacy of the screenshots gives me security. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Time Doctor?

Sometimes the application freezes and doesn't let me start tracking time, I have to restart the application, close it, and open it again. That could be improved. I also haven't figured out where I can add a new project because I changed my job title. I can only work on the project I created when I first started using Time Doctor, and I would like to know how to create a new project and delete the old one. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Response from Mina Park of Time Doctor

Hi Juana,

Thank you for sharing your experience. We’re glad to hear that the activity bar and blurred screenshots help you keep track of your time while still feeling secure and comfortable using the app.

We also appreciate your feedback about the occasional freezing and managing projects. Insights like this help our team continue improving performance and making features easier to use.
