As an employer, I can monitor people on their tasks, productivity and logs all at the same time! **What do you dislike about Time Doctor?** As an employer, I can not generate reports for Night differential **Recommendations to others considering Time Doctor:** Unlike other productivity tools, Time doctor is a very friendly user and its support team easily responds to you. It also sends reports daily and for every cheating application your employee use. **What problems is Time Doctor solving and how is that benefiting you?** As an employee - the problem before is that my other business-related tasks out of the office hours were not counted but with time doctor, it can record my business-related task any time of the day and my effort is not wasted anymore! As an employer - problems encountered were the legitimacy of the employees report for remote setup and the productivity of each employee and it is solved by time doctor since it reports and detects all aspects of productivity in a snap! ### 34. Time Tracking make sure they are working their entire shift, and the ability to check login and logout helps us to know they are working on time and leaving on time. Also, checking what websites they are visiting in detail allows us to see if they are not slacking and inefficient. They do have customer service through chat which is very helpful and can solve many issues and questions related to the app. Ability to generate custom report. **What do you dislike about Time Doctor?** Sometimes it misses out on time tracking, which makes us unable to rely 100% on its data about 2%time. Also, sometimes there is a lag in search. Also, the silent app does not update itself and has to install manually by each team member who is not excellent and time-consuming. The customer service team is not available 24 hours a day; hence sometimes, when there is an issue, we usually have to wait one or more days to resolve the issue, which just takes our time. Also, I cannot track my manager silently, rather give them manager access and install silent app so I am basically paying for two licence for same users if I need to add manager and track them silently. **Recommendations to others considering Time Doctor:** If you are implementing work from home or remote work, this is one of the best tools and reliable tools. It is highly recommended. **What problems is Time Doctor solving and how is that benefiting you?** The main problem we are solving is managing the team member who are all working from home due to the pandemic. The need for this software was not there before the pandemic. Now, it has become a part of managing team members. Through this app, team members are more efficient and do not slack their work. They log in on time and log out in time and take breaks as per their available limit. Without this software, we would not have been unaware if a team member was working or using their social media, or watching youtube videos. We were also able to find the team members who were slacking during work. ### 35. From an admin (non-member) perspective, it has all the settings that can help track hours, screen activities, and even mouse clicks. The dashboard and time report is color-coded to view edited hours easily and from which platform was the hours tracked. **What do you dislike about Time Doctor?** I'm a big fan of UI and reports, so if the pdf file could have a better layout, that would be awesome. It is okay in black and white but probably in a better tabular layout with better fonts. **Recommendations to others considering Time Doctor:** Utilize Time Doctore as often as you can! It has dashboards, time sheets, reports, unique settings, and even mobile and pc versions that makes it very portable! Their support is very responsive and will help you resolve any issues you might be encountering. **What problems is Time Doctor solving and how is that benefiting you?** It has become hard to track everyone's work routine, especially now that we're all working from home. but with Time Doctor, employers and employees alike are able to track each other's work hours, routine, and ethics. Employees are able to work and be aware of the screenshots happening without the feeling of being micromanaged. ### 36. The onboarding experience was amazing. I can track my employees and it's so easy and organized. Used similar applications but time doctor has no match whatsoever. **What do you dislike about Time Doctor?** Overall experience is amazing but the thing I guess could be improved is the screenshot duration. The minimum screenshot duration is 3 minutes and if I want continuous recording I have to switch to the video recording plan. What I suggest is the minimum duration of screenshots could be reduced to 1 min or 30 sec. **What problems is Time Doctor solving and how is that benefiting you?** During covid our workforce went WFH. Tracking employee's work and time management was a serious issue. Time doctor helped us overcome that. Productivity could really be accounted for. Definitely helped in business growth. ### 37. I like to keep track of everything that I do, both for work and personal projects. Tracking the time that I read books is important to me because it is something I want to do more of and using Time Doctor helps me do that. It also helps me show where I am doing well and where I can improve by giving me hard data. The Trello integration is extremely useful. **What do you dislike about Time Doctor?** I wouldn't say I like how the data is only kept for a year and that that I have to download my information manually or else I may lose it. Some better records integration would be nice. Another thing I dislike is the lack of features regarding the Trello integration. I like that I can use Trello, but it doesn't eliminate the cards that are finished, blocked, or archived. It just stays there forever so I have to scroll through everything. **Recommendations to others considering Time Doctor:** Make sure to download all of your information every six months for record keeping. **What problems is Time Doctor solving and how is that benefiting you?** I can reflect on how productive I am and share it with other people to prove that I'm working. The use of this software is also a way to verify that I did the work I said I would do. When I provide billable hours, I can show the actual time that I was working. In the context of personal development, I can see what works for me and what doesn't, which means I can make changes or keep doing what I was doing to get there. Time management is a huge problem for me that I've had to solve as a freelance worker but Time Doctor has helped me improve this immensely. Another problem that I solved was keeping track of each individual task I am working on for billing purposes. I may be working on different clients throughout the day. If I have to take a phone call in the middle of a project, I can swtich items on Time Doctor to reflect the billable time for the client that I called and stop the billable time for the client that I was working on. If I didn't have Time Doctor, then I would have to keep track of all of this on paper, which I find cumbersome and annoying. Definitely saves me time for the billing and invoiceing. The biggest benefit I've realized is being able to demonstrate that I'm actually doing things instead of just surfing the web on my computer. Not just for my employer and clients, but also rommmates who are jealous that I get to work from home. ### 38. I love the customizations for administrators to set the frequency of screencasts, option to have or not to have screencasts, option to edit time, and a nicely presented reports feature to monitor each and everyone's engagement. No doubt, the app did a great job in detecting idle time and ranking them per team member - making sure that productivity is always on track and inefficiencies can be flagged to improve team performance. **What do you dislike about Time Doctor?** The time automatically starts sometimes, and the app redirects to web app when going to reports or dashboard. I understand that this might be to reduce memory usage of the app, but I would rather prefer it embedded in the app itself since I'm using different chrome accounts. Another thing is the app flags meetings as unproductive time - it may tag it as idle time when there is not much mouse movement but hey, meetings and open communication are crucial to productivity! **Recommendations to others considering Time Doctor:** To the people currently using Time Doctor, my advice is that when managing your team/s and operations, take advantage of this app's reports functionality to monitor team member performance. See to it that everyone who needs help and mentoring receives it. Most importantly, address most if not all of the process loopholes flagged by using this software. Remote work set up must have been challenging for organizations, but if we use this platform with much consciousness and proper vision, I am confident that this could help bring the team to greater heights. **What problems is Time Doctor solving and how is that benefiting you?** Making sure that productivity and efficiency is on track among all team members! Time tracking and validation has never been so easy with this app. With the current remote work set up, having an app which have all of these features help make sure that each individual in the organization performs well and efficiently. Administrators are also saving time in summarizing work hours and makes the payroll process a lot more easier to complete and validate. Kudos! ### 40. I love that it's available on my desktop as well as an app on my phone. So many times, I'll receive a call from a client and I immediately go to the app to start a task. It's been a lifesaver and has allowed me to stop cutting myself short and forgetting how calls from clients can really add up on the run. **What do you dislike about Time Doctor?** There is very little that I dislike about Time Doctor. I do wish there was a way to add what sites I'm being productive on such as Facebook. Instagram, etc. that might otherwise be in the system as "unproductive". As a Digital MArketign Manager, some of the sites I frequesnt most pop up and I'm constantly havign to tell the program that I'm working. I'd also love i tif there was a way for Time Doctor to know when I can on. Google Meet/Zoom/Video call because I'm constantly having to click that I'm still working and it's horribly embarrassing if I'm on a call with an important company pitching an idea, sharing my screen, and having Tme Doctor pop up during my presentation. I'd love to not have to remember to turn it off completely when starting meetings. I'd love for it to be seemless so I don't have to go back and edit in time (on my own time). **Recommendations to others considering Time Doctor:** Don't hesitate. It takes screen shots of when I work and allows me to delete the ones I do not want recorded. I can also edit time that was mistakenly made. **What do you dislike about Time Doctor?** The desktop app doesn't work when I want it to and it doesn't stop when I want it to stop. Sometimes the desktop app crashes or hangs. Sometimes I find that some of my time is not recorded correctly. The app sometimes has bugs where I can't click the stop/start button. Or the button disappears. Or it crashes without warning or notice... **What problems is Time Doctor solving and how is that benefiting you?** It tracks my work time and the work time of colleagues. It also helps rationalize to my employer the invoices I send them. The cost is at the higher end. The installation and uninstallation process is too messy. I consider this more like a screen capturing or employee monitoring tool rather than a complete productivity tool. **What problems is Time Doctor solving and how is that benefiting you?** Since we have moved to remote, the biggest issue we had was data security and productivity management.
