You have to love the free trial, the free part for 3 users (great for small new companies -recommend it) and the $15 a month plan is great. **What do you dislike about Time Clock Wizard?** For easy payroll reporting you have to upgrade the plan to the $30 a month plan. I understand business and understand why this is done. Just wish the $15 a month plan had more of the features that the $30 a month plan does have. **Recommendations to others considering Time Clock Wizard:** Great from going from the old time clock method. Way of the future is phones and cloud based. I help companies with accounting/bookkeeping/payroll and always recommend Time Clock Wizard over the old punch clock. **What problems is Time Clock Wizard solving and how is that benefiting you?** I had problems with people not clocking in, forgetting to do it, always having to correct. People forgetting to punch out and blaming me when they didn't get paid. now with a phone app, easy to do corrections if they dont get paid it truly is their own fault. Great for employee reimbursements that were getting missed. ### 2. There is a lot of useful information that we pull from this system to assist with job costing. **What do you dislike about Time Clock Wizard?** I liked the system better when we got to choose to sync the timesheets with QuickBooks. **Recommendations to others considering Time Clock Wizard:** This is definitely a great resource for timekeeping. The accuracy is phenomenal. I like that everyone clocks in and out and are paid up to the single minute as opposed to rounding a day's hours from 8 to 5. **What problems is Time Clock Wizard solving and how is that benefiting you?** Time tracking ### 3. It has a lot of features like a task tracker/management, which I do not use but would be helpful probably if I did. It just doesn't seem necessary **What do you dislike about Time Clock Wizard?** There is very little customization or control. It is frustrating to drain your battery by tracking your location and that you cannot edit your own timesheet. For awhile, there was a glitch that you had to leave a comment when clocking in or out and that was frustrating. It also often crashes on my phone. It also rounds to the closest 15 minutes, which can be abused or frustrating when you barely miss the cut off time and work for free for awhile. **Recommendations to others considering Time Clock Wizard:** This is a better time tracker for an employee who is in multiple locations **What problems is Time Clock Wizard solving and how is that benefiting you?** Time clock tracks time. ### 4. I could clock in and out on the app within minutes. I can track where my hours are at for the pay period, what time off I have collected and view my pay statements. I can approve my time and submit for my payroll. **What do you dislike about Time Clock Wizard?** On the iOS operating system, the app seems to struggle with the stamping the correct location of my clock in. **What problems is Time Clock Wizard solving and how is that benefiting you?** I can clock in as soon as I arrive at my work, rather than waiting to get inside the building and log into my computer. ### 6. So, I can't compare this to other apps, but I find this extremely easy to use and helpful. It has everything I need. I can control what times people can clock in and what locations they have to be in order to clock in. It tells me when it suspects clock in errors and how many. I reminds me of birthdays and anniversaries. I can manage PTO as well. **What do you dislike about Time Clock Wizard?** I wish their was a way it could automatically calculate comp time for companies that offer it. But that is my only wish. **Recommendations to others considering Time Clock Wizard:** Get it! **What problems is Time Clock Wizard solving and how is that benefiting you?** I use it to calculate payroll and benefits like comp time and PTO. I also use it as a database for my employees ( name, date of hire, birthdays, anniversaries, address, etc) ### 9. But the lack of features totally outweigh this. **What do you dislike about Time Clock Wizard?** NO customer support, chat is useless and the number listed only goes to voicemail. Never have received a call back. Can NOT split timesheets between days. We have overnight employees and if they clock in at 7PM on Friday, the hours worked after midnight are still considered time worked on Friday, makes payroll impossible to run without editing it. Moving away from TCW to TSheets because I simply can not trust TCW. **Recommendations to others considering Time Clock Wizard:** If you need super basic time sheets and do not have employees that work overnight, maybe this could work for you. **What problems is Time Clock Wizard solving and how is that benefiting you?** I was using it for our time clock solution, but am RUNNING AWAY. ### 10.
