Recommendations to others considering TightVNC:
I would recommend possibly trying other software on the market before using TightVNC. Yes, TightVNC may be free, but there is a reason that you pay a premium for a software like TeamViewer, things just work a whole lot better. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
What problems is TightVNC solving and how is that benefiting you?
The software does fulfill its purpose by providing remote assistance, and it does so with ease. Having the background process running on any PC makes it so much easier to give remote access on demand, especially to persons who don't necessarily understand the finer workings of their company-assigned computer.
