Quoting a machined part usually starts with a customer's 3D model and an empty spreadsheet. Tiento Quote starts from the STEP file instead. Upload a STEP or STP file and Tiento reads the geometry, detecting through and blind holes, counterbores, countersinks, pockets and slots. Supported single-part models are analysed automatically; large assemblies go to manual review. Review every detected feature in an interactive 3D viewer. The price comes from the active estimate source, and that source is always visible. New workshops start with the Tiento baseline estimate; shop-specific calibration is activated only after enough of your own historical jobs have been reviewed. DFM notes, such as deep holes, thin walls or undercuts, are shown as review guidance and kept separate from the priced total. Estimators stay in control: annotate features, adjust quantities and override the final price, then export a draft or customer-facing PDF. Each workshop's data is isolated, and the whole team, from sales to engineering, works in one account. Tiento Quote is in an invite-only pilot with European machining workshops. Demos run on a real STEP file from your shop.
