At the organizational level, it is used to centrally manage Active Directory, as well as to centrally manage other software residing in different departments. This includes locally installed SCCM on Windows Server. It solves the problem of a good server operating system that is easy to set up and use (compared to operating systems on other servers) and doesn't require much back-end management support. **What do you dislike about Windows Server?** One thing that could be improved is to make the Windows Server OS more stable overall, which means avoiding shutdowns or crashes or the frequent need to restart the server to cause a "refresh" state. What I like the most is having Microsoft virtualization product (Hyper-V) as a role in the server so your server can have other functions like DNS, DHCP, File server etc and at the same time be a Hyper-V host and run virtual machines on. We then need to kill few of the running tasks to complete the other running tasks for it.
