Unlike most no-code development platforms, Thunkable allows users to develop apps with third-party integrations and external data sources for free. I found this very liberating since Adalo, Glide, and other no-code tools require payment for these features, even when trying out an idea and unsure if you will carry it through. I wish the number of steps it takes to achieve these integrations and API calls were less; implementing simple features is made more complex and there is a lot to remember when using Thunkable. Thunkable allows me to build MVP ideas and test them out faster than if I had to code everything in React Native. Thunkable allows you to easily build beautiful cross-platform applications (Android, iOS, and Web). The intuitive interface Thunkable provides allow anyone to build apps for their device! Thunkable can be limiting with the drag-and-drop coding interface and being able to only include what is available in Thunkable when creating your app. Most things can be accomplished, but the more advanced things take more technical skills. Thunkable allows anyone to quickly build a cross-platform app. This is excellent for quick prototyping and having a working example in just a few hours. Thunkable is a highly beginner-friendly platform that truly makes building an app accessible for anyone! I could even see this being used as a first step to teaching coding concepts like loops and control flow without having to deal with all the complications of coding syntax. It would have been helpful to have more examples of common use cases in the documentation! Also, when I did make a mistake and introduced bugs, it was sometimes hard to tell what the issue was. Rapid prototyping and iterating on mobile apps without having to pay a developer to build out a whole codebase. Also, making publishing to the app stores so so much easier! I love that I do not need any coding or development experience prior to using Thunkable. I love how easy it is to submit an app to the app store and the Google play store. Thunkable revamped the drag and drop format which has been extremely helpful. The old platform had a column and row design which was very difficult. The fact that i dont need to know any programming languages to make an awesome app is so helpful! I never thought i would be able to create and design my own app and publish to the app store. Even though i did not need to know any programming languages, there was still a minor learning curve to understanding the platform. But I was easily able to find lots of resource to help guide me through any questions I had and once i worked through my first few setbacks, it was essentially a breeze! As a small business owner, i dont have the budget to hire a team of engineers to build my app, nor do i have the time to go back and forth of design and workflow, so being able to work on this myself without breaking the bank has been a huge help! I don't have a coding background at all, but I found Thunkable surprisingly easy to learn and use. There was a small learning curve, but I was so astonished I was able to publish a prototype in just a matter of weeks. The drag-and-drop interface was fun and surprisingly advanced. I work on a lean team where we wanted to test out a mobile app for a marketing campaign, and our leadership loved it. The informative videos to walk you through the build process! There are a seemingly infinite number of resources to help anyone start building! Whenever i get stuck and think I wont be able to move forward, I am always able to find a solution in their useful documents page! Before Thunkable I couldnt fathom being able to bring my app ideas to life, and even if i could, i wouldnt be able to afford a dev and design team to make it what I would want. I like all the different design options that are possible with Thunkable. The Figma integration is great because it combines two awesome tools seamlessly. I am not a very tech oriented person, so it took me a little while to get the hang of building but it was night and day easier than any coding language i have tried in the past.
