This is not good while evaluating the tool so you can take bad choises. **What problems is Thunkable solving and how is that benefiting you?** For sure the lack of knowledge of mobile development and mobile platforms also helps you save money while prototyping a mobile app. Thunkable is giving us the chance to validate our business without having to spend money on expensive mobile developers. ### 2. It lets you run tests quickly and the connection with your mobile is flawless. It is a very fun way to do app developing without having to go deeper in the mobile app development world. **What do you dislike about Thunkable?** Some of the functionalities are still in development. From a personal case, I was using a BLE extension, and it was a bit short. For example, it lacks a function to read data advertised by beacons. **What problems is Thunkable solving and how is that benefiting you?** I am developing a no-code app to acquire data from a sensor via Bluetooth Low Energy. It is very easy and fast to test, and it has shown to be very useful. Like not being able to upload images to own server, but can only be achieved by using Cloudinary which is a rather expensive service. **What problems is Thunkable solving and how is that benefiting you?** I have made an app for a cleaning company that they use for their employees for tracking time and other tasks related to their work ### 5. Both for iOS and Android at the same times. **What do you dislike about Thunkable?** Many extensions are not yet available compared to their previous version. Documentation and community may still refer to the Classic version who has been halted, and it is frustrating. Additional components available for the full paid version is not clear enough. **Recommendations to others considering Thunkable:** Give it a try, spend two hours by yourself designing screens. Have a look to cloud services that helps with authentications, storage, translation and so on. **What problems is Thunkable solving and how is that benefiting you?** For many projects, a working MVP is better than a prototype or complex mock-ups. Using Thunkable is sufficient to get feedbacks from users in less than one day, and may last for weeks before having to switch complex projects to coded features. And many projects may be kept in production as Thunkable apps. Compared to rapid prototyping solutions, Thunkable goes one step further, with iOS and Android app stores deployment so it can be presented to users and customers. Since standard services are used (Firebase, Cloudinary, ...) the user data may be reused in legacy web apps. ### 6. Database Querying can be improved. Capability to send auto emails/sms to selected users of the App by the App admin would be great. **What problems is Thunkable solving and how is that benefiting you?** Realtime User data management related apps can be well made with this platform. Drag and drop components to edit your graphic and then go to the block editor to write your code using a puzzle way where cards are strings of code. Isn't necessary a lot of experience but only imagination and desire of learn more. There is a lot of extensions and a very big community with a lot of experienced people that will help you. Now you can edit app for android and ios , a new version (called thunkable X) is able to write one code and publish for both operating system. **What do you dislike about Thunkable?** New graphics style or components are more difficult to edit or require third part extension. It is also great for educators, because it can introduce people to programming without having them go through the syntax errors and other problems which arise when you write everything from scratch. **What do you dislike about Thunkable?** I dislike the general constraints, for example inability to create components dynamically using blocks, or inability to create inflatable menus. Also, believe it or not, sometimes it's much easier and faster to write code than to create code from puzzle blocks. **Recommendations to others considering Thunkable:** Try it, it's free! And it has some great features to make beautiful apps. Yes, it has some constraints, however most of them can be defied by creative thunking :) **What problems is Thunkable solving and how is that benefiting you?** I'm mostly just prototyping in Thunkable, then make a native Android app in Java.
