What I value the most from thunkable is that you don´t have to learn any platform-specific programming language to have a mobile app, so you can prototype easily. For sure the lack of knowledge of mobile development and mobile platforms also helps you save money while prototyping a mobile app. Thunkable is giving us the chance to validate our business without having to spend money on expensive mobile developers. The app has a very pleasant interface, and it is very easy and fast to use. It lets you run tests quickly and the connection with your mobile is flawless. Some of the functionalities are still in development. From a personal case, I was using a BLE extension, and it was a bit short. For example, it lacks a function to read data advertised by beacons. It is very easy and fast to test, and it has shown to be very useful. However, I have encountered some issues, such as that it lacks some extensions that I need. Some functions need third part subscriptions, which can destroy an idea. Thunkable helps to quickly design and demo real apps, using Cloud services : less than two hours may be sufficient to have secured user sign in, Cloud storage, camera and other phone services integration and even push to phones or app stores. Documentation and community may still refer to the Classic version who has been halted, and it is frustrating. Additional components available for the full paid version is not clear enough. What problems is Thunkable solving and how is that benefiting you? For many projects, a working MVP is better than a prototype or complex mock-ups. Using Thunkable is sufficient to get feedbacks from users in less than one day, and may last for weeks before having to switch complex projects to coded features. And many projects may be kept in production as Thunkable apps. Compared to rapid prototyping solutions, Thunkable goes one step further, with iOS and Android app stores deployment so it can be presented to users and customers. I love the Web API component to connect with 3rd party APIs with ease. and the Data List/Grid components makes life so easy to integrate and with link with Data sources like Airtable, Google sheets and local tables in a jiffy!! It's a very easy way to create your app like a professional one! Drag and drop components to edit your graphic and then go to the block editor to write your code using a puzzle way where cards are strings of code. Isn't necessary a lot of experience but only imagination and desire of learn more. There is a lot of extensions and a very big community with a lot of experienced people that will help you.
