Thunderbird is very user-friendly, it has a strong search algorithm which helps in searching emails faster thereby saving valuable time and effort. Searching for specific emails is extremely important and in Thunderbird it's very time consuming. That's reason enough to not use it. Its easy to use at first, but i think they could erase some options and leave only important things on front, then they can add options for those who cares... I think they have tried to make a software too heave for what some of us need... What do you dislike about Thunderbird? Thunderbird is a horrible software, old design, and without many of the things you need from this kind of stuff... It has troubles to update and mails are only purchase... What problems is Thunderbird solving and how is that benefiting you? getting multiple mails in one window, but its hard to update, i only use it for mails without importance. Main benefit is the fact is free, then you should go for what some people with more knowledge about this things care, probably the best one for programmers and guys like those. The part that I kike the most about Thunderbird is the fact that it is free. Microsoft staff at the Microsoft store put Thunderbird on my computer and so the set-up and the connection with Microsoft made for an easy transition for the software to get loaded on my computer Review collected by and hosted on G2.com. What do you dislike about Thunderbird? There are a lot of things I do not like about Thunderbird unfortunately and I prefer Outlook much more. I do not ilke the searching function of Thunderbird. I need to retype my password into my account frequently and it gets annoying when sending time sensative email (e.g. boarding a plane, typing emails on the go, etc). I loose a lot of draft and final emails on Thunderbird. I have no idea where the emails go but I have to BCC myself on every email I write to make 100% certain the emails successfully send. I am not going to hold back here but I LOATHE Thunderbird (DON'T DO IT). It gives me heart palpitations and headaches around the amount of emails that seem to "disappear". If it were my choice I would reload Outlook but the Microsoft people cannot seem to do it and without my permission they pushed me into Thunderbird. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
