The default Prototyping mode is not usable for ComfyUI image generation. It can't handle models that offload to RAM, so generations that take ~30 seconds on other A100 providers took 2+ minutes here, or crashed with random out-of-memory errors. Standard ComfyUI settings don't fix it. None of this is mentioned upfront — I wasted credits and a lot of time before realizing the platform itself was the problem. I find Thunder Compute's setup very easy; it's really a plug-and-play experience for me. I really like Thunder Compute's competitive prices, especially for GPUs. It's kind of crazy how much cheaper they are compared to, like, PrimeIntellect. The customer support is really good, I think. I wish I could create my own custom templates. Right now, they only provide templates for certain interfaces, but I understand they have this idea in the works.
