I can set up countless email-related tasks from both the public and backend administrative ends to collect, archive and label data. We can use the data in numerous ways to optimize marketing campaigns and business planning activities. The people and Keap are professional and have an excellent understanding of how we can get the most out of their software. **What do you dislike about Thryv?** The initial setting up period can take a while and involve loads of errors, but over time, we were able to get a hang of how things work and continually get a better understanding of how to make the Keap account work best for us and our contacts. **What problems is Thryv solving and how is that benefiting you?** We've leveraged the automated tools in Keap to get more leads, contacts and other information without having to lift a finger. Sure, it might've taken us some time to set things up, but much of the data collection and messaging activities occur without a human touching anything. We use Keap to track our sales funnel, send out invoices, send out our email campaigns, create landing pages, send out our newsletter, and of course manage contacts. We also use it set appointments. **What do you dislike about Thryv?** What I dislike is that creating a landing page is done inside of a funnel option, instead of a part of the navigation. That you cannot run reports based on the name of a technician. The automation capabilities are top notch. It's also a fraction of the cost compared to services like Hubspot that require upwards of £1,000 a month to access comparable features. **What do you dislike about Thryv?** The UI for Keap Infusionsoft Classic is a little daunting at first, simply because of the number of things you can do with it. I think that is one area that could be improved. **Recommendations to others considering Thryv:** Although Keap Infusionsoft has been a godsend, I don't think we would have been able to utilise it as well without the help of our Keap Partner - The Business Catalyst. Highly recommended. **What problems is Thryv solving and how is that benefiting you?** We've used a Keap Partner called The Business Catalyst to help us with our customer journey mapping and automating things like appointments, sales, reminders and evergreen marketing. It's very easy to create emails despite the fact there are some limitations. The ability to build campaigns is something we plan to delve into more over time as well, particularly drip campaigns. I'm impressed with what I've seen with regard to how robust campaigns can be, such that they can be made to achieve multiple goals or even layered goals. **What do you dislike about Thryv?** Inflexible email templates. I am very frustrated with the limitations of the Keap/Infusionsoft email templates. While it is very easy to build emails in Keap, the constraints placed upon the email presentation are frankly quite discouraging. Honestly, I can't believe any CRM would provide such inflexible templates in this day and age, with no option for word-wrapping around an image, more spacing than necessary between paragraphs, allowing for too much white space, and content blocks that can't be easily adjusted for a more appealing design and/or ideal widths. For as much as Infusionsoft is a step forward for us in terms of the capability to build campaigns and harvest important data for the purpose of targeting, etc., the limitations imposed on our email layouts and design are actually a step backward. As someone who hasn't gotten far with campaigns yet and who is constantly using Keap to build emails for other teams with specific desires with regard to how their emails look, this is extremely disappointing. These templates are behind the times by nearly 10 years. **What problems is Thryv solving and how is that benefiting you?** Time savings and ease of use in building emails. Despite the limitations of the templates I described above, creating emails takes little time and is easy and straightforward to manage. I appreciate the ease of connecting all of my social media, etc. Follow-up and setup were very good - good customer service and onboarding. **What do you dislike about Thryv?** The automatically generated content was often not applicable or incorrect about our specific fields or services. Adding photos to the posts took a lot of extra time, and eventually, we stopped doing that because it didn't seem very efficient. **Recommendations to others considering Thryv:** Consider your services first before using Thryv. It would help to make sure you have someone who can dedicate a good week or month to pre-scheduling all of your year's content, etc. **What problems is Thryv solving and how is that benefiting you?** I cannot personally speak to the CRM portion of the program, as we solely use this for social content and competition analysis (our scheduling software is where we have all of that information). First, I was amazed and blown away by the skill, kindness, and promptness of the tech support team. If it wasn't for customer support, I wouldn't know how to use Keap. Next, I'm blown away by the Live weekly automation hour webinars. They are everything I've always wanted wrapped into one simple thing. Grady is fantastic, and the training is excellent! Then, the skill of the Keap developers is mind-blowing because they're constantly managing glitches and things that go wrong, as well as adding great new features. And, lastly, I appreciate the check-out feature in Keap Max because I'm gonna use it often, and it's easy to use. P.S.- the reporting features are superb. Tech support is too! **What do you dislike about Thryv?** I don't particularly like that we can't use emoj's in our weekly email broadcasts, and there isn't a bi-weekly recurring payment option. The bi-weekly recurring payment option would help gain new clients because I could substantially lower their upfront costs. **Recommendations to others considering Thryv:** Before using Keap, get a designated notebook for note-taking during automation hour, use the plethora of learning resources available, ask questions, and be nice to tech support. **What problems is Thryv solving and how is that benefiting you?** I'm streamlining my client onboarding process, check-out process, weekly newsletter, and making my life so much easier. I think the functionality is smooth and easy to learn. You can keep track of tasks and clients in a clear and concise way with labels. The automatic payments that you can integrate with PayPal are helpful too. **What do you dislike about Thryv?** The software is missing a lot of necessary customization and features to make it worth the price tag and ditching other business software. For instance, with the invoicing - it is irritating that invoices can't be customized to 1) look different than the generic layout provided and 2) writing the line items for the invoice is frustrating. As a designer for both graphic and web design, I like to write out descriptions of my hours, and there isn't a memo section on the item lines. It automatically sends invoice emails sometimes without any indication, which can come off as rude to clients without a follow-up email. I also can't even use the feature that tracks my Google reviews because, for whatever reason, my business doesn't show up in their search results. I can tell that in the future, this will be a great tool for me, especially because they are so coherent to feedback. However, right now, it feels a bit underdeveloped. And most importantly - you will pay the price if you want to get out of this software. Don't be tricked into a year contract like I was. The "credits" they offered me that covered a month or so when I wanted to quit, later showed up in my mailbox from a debt collector. Super irritated with my entire experience with them. **Recommendations to others considering Thryv:** This software is expensive and all of its features can be done by other software for either free, or cheaper than $80 a month. Plus, the features it does provide didn't work how I needed them to. Also, requires a year contract to join, and you must pay for training sessions initially, unless you talk personally with customer service. **What problems is Thryv solving and how is that benefiting you?** None anymore. The newer addition in text messaging capabilities has been huge as many of our clients would come to us for support in developing text message campaigns and we found ourselves hitting walls trying to find suitable 3rd party options that were within budget for clients. **What do you dislike about Thryv?** We and most of our clients are in Keap Max Classic and right now the limitations with the landing page builder can be frustrating. **Recommendations to others considering Thryv:** I recommend investing in it and getting started, especially now with the different packages. So much easier to grow within one platform than it is to get set up in a cheaper, less robust alternative to only have to invest time and money into getting transferred over later. **What problems is Thryv solving and how is that benefiting you?** Consistent follow up to leads and giving our clients the experience we want them to have. Being able to streamline communication and ensure that clients are hearing from us even as we grow and manual follow ups gets more and more unrealistic. We're eliminating communication issues and large amounts of payroll going to simple follow up. ### 45. The concept of "Automatic" vs "Automated" really resinated with me. Taking a deeper dive at our customer journey and making it "automatic" is a major goal of ours in 2022. **What do you dislike about Thryv?** Most of the presentations were geared around entrepreneurs. I would have liked to see more advanced Keap campaigns broken down. We use it in a company that has 700 employees and have been using it for a few years now, things like how to clean up contact records, how to avoid over tagging, things like that. **What problems is Thryv solving and how is that benefiting you?** The main issue we solve is using Keap as a bridge between multiple ad platforms and lead channels to our internal sales software and database. We have limited resources when it comes to database developers so using Keap as a reporting database is something that has been a game-changer in our department. It's something anyone on my team is able to access and pull contact record reports without a developer needed. ### 50.
