We use Easyshare solution from Thru to interchange encrypted emails internaly and externaly allowing end users to benefic for a more secure system to transfer files. What problems is Thru solving and how is that benefiting you? Easyashre application from Thru help us to send files we dont allow in emails that sometimes are trusted files and encrypted. Also allow us to transfer big files with an aditional password protections layer to access the file and keep an cleanup with the expiration of the files after some time the file is provided. Thru's platform is fully SaaS and provides a modern and secure way of handling a common file transfer protocol such as sftp. The support from the team is also first rate and they are quite prepared to go the extra mile for uncommon use cases Thru MFT provides a SaaS method of approaching a legacy problem and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend it Review collected by and hosted on G2.com. What do you dislike about Thru? I think some people may find some the concepts around transports and organisations a bit challenging at first. I've worked with Thru at three organisations now and the main issue it solves is sftp at scale. The customization options are quite extensive. It is very convenient to be able to collaborate with other users by creating shared folders. The user interface is pretty much straightforward. Thru is a useful application when needing to transfer large files or encrypted email (for those that don't already have it). I have sent many vendors large files or encrypted emails without any issues and those vendors have been pleasantly surprised how easy the application was to use. It is a pure and straightforward SaaS solution. Most of the other MFT SaaS on the market have hidden costs like bandwidth usage - not Thru, which is great if you upload and download large files daily. It has one link to a dropbox to send to external users that never expires. Being able to share folders with other account holders is also a useful feature. The ability to move files around within Thru and have an organised file structure is excellent. The interface is mostly intuitive and being web-based can be accessed anywhere. It accepts a broad range of file types and I haven't yet found a file type that it won't accept. There is also the flexibilty to either send an email with a link to a file from within Thru or create a separate link to send by other means. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com. What do you dislike about Thru? Thru sometimes behaves like a file explorer and sometimes like a website, so it takes a little while to get used to the clicks. Very occasionally, the emails sent within Thru don't make it to the recipient and we have to resend the link to the file they need. External users can only submit to the main dropbox - it would be helpful to be able to create a link to another folder within the filing system so that files for a project can be uploaded directly to the corresponding folder. Once a file has been uploaded it cannot be renamed, which can create problems if files with the same name are uploaded and should be stored within the same folder. Being able to extend the expiry of a link is a useful benefit, as well as the ability to have an organised file structure. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
