I like that they have extensive documentation on how to use Thrive Architect & to create landing pages (In Thrive University). Thrive Architect is easy to use tool, and has some good landing page templates to get started with. Plus, it is easy to create new pages using it as well. **What do you dislike about Thrive Architect?** Nothing that I can think of. The only thing I can think of would be that I wouldn't add too many landing page builder plugins on the same install, which might cause plugin conflicts. **What problems is Thrive Architect solving and how is that benefiting you?** I use Thrive Architect to create WordPress landing pages. Thrive Architect has an easy-to-use Drag n Drop Builder, which makes it easy to create pages. So, even if you are not that much into coding, you can easily use Thrive Architect to create pages ### 2. It's a drag and drop landing page builder so anyone of any experience level can use it. Typically people get scared with landing page builders needing lots of code, but Thrive Architect makes it simple with features already made...which need to be dragged onto the page. Plus, there's templates you can choose from too! **What do you dislike about Thrive Architect?** It can be a bit buggy. As in, your landing page won't appear how it is under editor mode on different devices. You really need to test what the page looks like across different devices and different browsers before you make it public online. I've found that some of our landing pages have odd spacing issues across certain devices. **What problems is Thrive Architect solving and how is that benefiting you?** It's solving the problem of having to hire a web developer/web designer because anyone in the internal marketing team can pick it up and use. It's also helping our clients who need a program that will help them create landing pages and funnels. ### 3. However, I don't think this is really a critique on Thrive, just Wordpress plug-ins in general. **What problems is Thrive Architect solving and how is that benefiting you?** Thrive Architect has helped us to further develop and customize our website in aesthetically pleasing ways that we could not have previously done on Wordpress without it. ### 4. I am fairly proficient with Wordpress so that helps, but this is a great software. I love the ActiveCampaign integration and the fact that you can create different positioning settings for desktop, tablet, and smartphone. **What do you dislike about Thrive Architect?** I honestly can't think of anything. I'm still learning all the features, but whenever I add a new one to a page, I'm easily able to figure out how to personalize it. That's awesome. **Recommendations to others considering Thrive Architect:** If you have some online knowledge but aren't a coder or web designer, this is a great way to create beautiful, versatile pages yourself on your WordPress website. It's easy to learn and very intuitive to use. Just a few example building blocks are Thrive integrations with other Thrive Themes tools, post lists, contact forms, call to action, image gallery, pricing table, audio, Custom HTML, Custom menu, comments, countdown, countdown evergreen, button, social follow and share, Google Map, progress bar, fill counter, tabs, toggle, testimonial, star rating, Facebook comments, and so much more along with any essentials. You can even save as a template any block that you customize to use later anywhere on your website. You use one of the Thrive Themes website themes for default appearance. For any theme, you can configure any detail to your liking. There are also fully built pages that you can select from templates to accelerate building pages. There are tons of awesome features along with an exhaustive knowledge base, training and responsive customer support. **What do you dislike about Thrive Architect?** Thrive Themes has since created a Theme Builder that we can use instead of Thrive Architect with a theme. I want to go with the Theme Builder as it is advertised as being even more flexible and versatile. There is a thorough training to do the switch that starts with a sincere explanation of reasons to change and when not to do the change. They also warn to reserve an entire weekend to switch and not rush the process. They guide us into some tests to see the extent of the work we would need to do if we do the change. It is not good timing for me, so I'm content to stay with Thrive Architect for the moment as it is still quite extraordinary. **What problems is Thrive Architect solving and how is that benefiting you?** I have everything I need to build a complete WordPress website with any functionality possible. No compatibility problems trying to fit different plugins. I save time and money with everything in one toolbox. I gain in productivity and effectiveness. ### 6. It's a flexible tool, allowing you to make things look how you want. It also is fairly user-friendly. If you aren't a web-designer, you can pick this up with only a modest learning curve. **What do you dislike about Thrive Architect?** While Thrive Architect is approachable for non-designers, it can be difficult to master completely. In certain situations, you may need to bring in an expert to get something just right (which is frustrating if you are trying to DIY a project). Also, the designs have a tendency to load slowly -- and this can kill your conversion rates if the page takes too long to load. Again, you may need to bring in an expert to speed things up. **What problems is Thrive Architect solving and how is that benefiting you?** We used Thrive Architect to design numerous landing pages for an online course business. The presets templates are very useful, both for entire landing pages and for individual sections. Thus, the process was quick and efficient to create new landing pages. ### 8. The templating available, along with the new Thrive Builder are great. It enables doing full page templating as WYSIWYG which makes things easier and doesn't require any coding. When there are issues, then the Thrive Themes support team is there to assist in a matter of no time. **What do you dislike about Thrive Architect?** The fact that it doesn't make use of Wordpress Gutenberg blocks worries me from time to time. That said, I still end up using Thrive Architect, simply because of its integration with Thrive Leads and the ability to use it as a marketing platform on top of just being a WYSIWYG editor. **Recommendations to others considering Thrive Architect:** I'd use Thrive Architect in any project where my focus is marketing - placements of newsletter subscription forms, opt-in forms, popups, A/B testing of these, etc. The price is very reasonable, the support is excellent, and the results speak for themselves. If I'd need a simple blog site using WordPress, I'd probably skip Thrive Architect - assuming I am not using it elsewhere. **What problems is Thrive Architect solving and how is that benefiting you?** Having a comfortable visual editor for Wordpress where I can write my content, and especially the static pages and landing/sales pages for my business. Designing pages easily without the need of external designer+developer combo. This reduces the time it takes to put up new pages. Using it made it easier to create and have an appealing website that looks professional. ### 9. It reminds of me Microsoft frontpage which I loved. **What do you dislike about Thrive Architect?** I dislike that you can't really drag certain elements exactly anywhere you want. You're sort of stuck to a grid. With some tweaking you can get it right. But it would be nice if you could truly drag and drop things exactly where ever you want. **Recommendations to others considering Thrive Architect:** If you're looking for a true page builder that allows you to create a page that looks like whatever you envision, then invest in Thrive Architect. Just be patient with the learning curve. Watch the videos and use their support forum. **What problems is Thrive Architect solving and how is that benefiting you?** I hated how limited the Wordpress default editor was. Working with things like tables required a lot more effort. And it wasn't really a great WYSIYG editor. Thrive Architect gives me the ability to create truly unique landing pages very quickly. ### 12. Additionally, with the paid membership, it is possible to install it on up to 25 different websites. **What do you dislike about Thrive Architect?** In general, I am very happy with the editing tools provided by Thrive Architect. I believe that the support service could improve its customer service experience. **Recommendations to others considering Thrive Architect:** Thrive Architect meets the perfect price-benefit ratio. In my opinion, it is one of the best page builders currently available. If you are looking to create websites through a builder with an easy-to-use interface, I recommend Thrive Architect. **What problems is Thrive Architect solving and how is that benefiting you?** We are using Thrive Architect to build our websites. Fortunately, the benefits have been as follows: - We managed to design pages that adapt to the resolutions of the different devices of the users who visit our website. - We were able to install this page builder on different websites without having to pay an additional license, because the license covers a limit of 25 websites. - Several elements such as contact forms or social icons are integrated into its builder, making it very easy to implement them on the website. ### 13. But I think it's the norm in the industry. The interface allows you to drag-and-drop content and design elements to edit your webpages, and shows you how your page appears on desktop and mobile version. Edits are immediate. The program runs smoothly; I have not experienced lagging while editing. I have no experience in webpage design, and I was easily able to figure out Architect within a day. **What do you dislike about Thrive Architect?** I have no gripes with Thrive Architect at this moment. I have been using it for almost five years now with no chief complaints. **What problems is Thrive Architect solving and how is that benefiting you?** When I switched from a Wix website to a WordPress site, I was overwhelmed with the webpage design. I do not have a background in coding, and I did not want to hire a designer. I was used to Wix’s drag-and-drop feature which is similar to Architect. Architect allowed me to create a beautiful website without spending extra money hiring a designer and without spending extra time learning how to customize my WordPress site. I have had a visually appealing website that is mobile friendly, readable, and clear for the last 4-5 years thanks to Thrive Architect.
