"Essential Cybersecurity Tool with Strong Support"
4/5
What do you like best about ThreatLocker Zero Trust Platform?

I find the ThreatLocker Platform easy to use and intuitive. The support from their cyber hero teams is great, providing an escalation point for setting up features or resolving major issues. There's also a ton of material online to help get comfortable with the platform, which is really helpful. I like the app whitelisting and ring fencing features, and it's one of the best tools we have in our cybersecurity stack. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about ThreatLocker Zero Trust Platform?

I think using AI to help with identifying the app approval process could really improve the system. Right now, it's definitely a manual process, and it can get overwhelming when a lot of approval requests come in at the same time. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Top-Notch Security with Stellar Support"
4.5/5
What do you like best about ThreatLocker Zero Trust Platform?

I appreciate ThreatLocker Platform for its application allow listing functionality, which is key in securing both our company and our clients from cyber threats. Even though it's not the most straightforward software to use, the training resources are plentiful and the support is excellent. I value features like ring fencing that restrict app interactions and control their internet access, as well as network and storage protection. The initial installation is pretty easy, and I like that it can run in learning mode, which is important for training it before moving to the protection mode. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about ThreatLocker Zero Trust Platform?

The concept of 'restrict by default' is tough to execute without causing noise, like user requests for access, making ThreatLocker somewhat noisy until it gets dialed in. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Streamlined Security with Quick Response Times"
4.5/5
What do you like best about ThreatLocker Zero Trust Platform?

I use ThreatLocker Platform primarily to keep our clients protected, as it runs hand in hand with SentinelOne as our primary sources of antivirus and protection software. I really value the quick responses it provides. It's super streamlined when a client needs to allow a certain program; they can request it to be allowlisted, it auto-creates a ticket in our ticketing software, and gives me the information to verify and allow the software. ThreatLocker Platform is a one-of-a-kind, all-in-one solution that makes our work easier and streamlined. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about ThreatLocker Zero Trust Platform?

I would say the policy update times. At times it works very quickly but other times it may take a bit longer than anticipated to give the client what they are requesting. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Intuitive Zero Trust Platform with Easy Setup"
5/5
What do you like best about ThreatLocker Zero Trust Platform?

I like how easy the ThreatLocker Platform's portal is to use, which is important because many other products' online portals can be a pain. I also really appreciate the main concept behind zero trust. Using default deny instead of default allow has been significant for me. The platform's zero trust approach is more secure than traditional antivirus solutions, which led us to switch from using antivirus products like Sentinel One. The initial setup was also easy, and I would rate my likelihood to recommend ThreatLocker Platform as a 10 out of 10. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about ThreatLocker Zero Trust Platform?

ThreatLocker access app did not work for me; it didn't check in on my Android phone. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Ease of Use Outweighs Initial Learning Curve"
4/5
What do you like best about ThreatLocker Zero Trust Platform?

I like the ease of use and user interface of the ThreatLocker Platform, as it's very easy to navigate once you understand the areas you need to utilize. This makes it easier for the rest of my department to pick up the product and manage it. The initial setup was pretty simple, involving just installing the software on end devices and letting learning mode take over. We actually switched from another product, Carbon Black, specifically because of ThreatLocker's ease of use. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about ThreatLocker Zero Trust Platform?

It's quite the learning curve at the start, a lot of resources to read through. Just the vast product line, a lot to take in at first. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Powerful Zero-Trust Allowlisting with Excellent Endpoint Visibility"
5/5
What do you like best about ThreatLocker Zero Trust Platform?

ThreatLocker delivers very strong application control and zero-trust enforcement at the endpoint level. Its allowlisting approach significantly reduces the attack surface, making it far more difficult for ransomware, living-off-the-land binaries, or unauthorized scripts to run. The platform also provides excellent visibility into processes, PowerShell activity, and overall application behavior, which is especially useful for threat hunting and incident response. The approval workflow is quick and efficient, and being able to promptly allow legitimate applications without undermining overall security is a major advantage. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about ThreatLocker Zero Trust Platform?

The initial policy tuning and learning phase can require significant time and operational effort, especially in large environments with many custom applications or scripts. Without careful planning, the allowlisting model can introduce friction for users when new software is introduced. The interface and reporting capabilities could also be more streamlined for executive-level summaries and long-term analytics. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Reliable Application Control with Stellar Support"
5/5
What do you like best about ThreatLocker Zero Trust Platform?

I like that the ThreatLocker Platform does exactly what it says it will do. It's easy to use and navigate, easy to install, well documented, and their support services are excellent. I spend very little time having to manage or troubleshoot issues while supporting over 1500 endpoints. And when I do have an issue, it is resolved quickly due to prompt and competent support assistance. Also, the initial setup was very easy. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about ThreatLocker Zero Trust Platform?

The only difficulty I have is reviewing actions taken by our technicians to understand what they approved, how they approved it, or reviewing the history of a policy to get insight into who made what adjustments at what time. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
