## threatER Reviews
  ### 1. Easy-to-Use Interface with Fast Whitelisting and Clear Block Visibility

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Higher Education | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 03, 2026

**What do you like best about threatER?**

Easy to use interface and love the ability to easily see if a url/domain or IP address is blocked. If it is block, it is easy to create a whitelist rule and the changes take effect quickly within seconds to minutes at most. Customer support has always been great, and our account rep Julia has been very helpful by doing her quarterly check-ins.

**What do you dislike about threatER?**

The only issue or dislike that comes to mind is when we have seen blocks to legitimate webistes due to having a bad blocklist. This issue only occurred a couple of times, but it did cause a lot of issues for us and our users not being able to access their websites.

**What problems is threatER solving and how is that benefiting you?**

They recently added the ability to block ASN blocks instead of blocking a whole country.

**Official Response from Courtney Brady:**

> We really appreciate the feedback and we are always looking to make improvements to our whitelist capabilities. Your input helps us improve, and we’re grateful you shared it.

  ### 2. Easy-to-Use Interface, Though Some Features Feel Redundant on Firewalls

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Ruben C. | Infrastructure Admin, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 15, 2026

**What do you like best about threatER?**

Interface is easy to navigate between sites

**What do you dislike about threatER?**

redundant features available on firewalls

**What problems is threatER solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We use content filtering throughout all of our locations.

  ### 3. The protection works well and the support team is great.

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Information Technology and Services | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 25, 2023

**What do you like best about threatER?**

I appreciate the additional email alerts to make sure our Bandura device is fully patched, and the other emails showing the protection stats.

**What do you dislike about threatER?**

I don't have a specific item to dislike.

**What problems is threatER solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It provides the additional layer of protection we desired in our infrastructure, along with consistently updating its known threats. We do utilize the country blocks too.

  ### 4. Keeps the bad guys out

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Environmental Services | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 06, 2022

**What do you like best about threatER?**

Keeps the bad guys out. My weekly report from firewall has dropped from hundreds of attempts to none for outside the USA.

**What do you dislike about threatER?**

We had to add some exceptions for sites hosted on AWS, etc where the IP would sometimes be outside the USA.

**What problems is threatER solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Support is great if you have questions when had sites people couldnt access. prevents access from outside USA.
