## About ThreatDown
AI has changed what businesses need to protect and how fast they need to respond. Ungoverned AI tools leak data through identities and API keys nobody's watching, while AI-driven attacks compress exploit windows from months to hours and generate the alert volume of dozens of attackers at once — a scale problem no team can staff its way out of. ThreatDown meets AI-scale risk with an AI-native platform built for more than the endpoint — one lightweight agent, one console, no tool sprawl. AI visibility flags every AI tool in use and blocks sensitive data before it reaches the model. ThreatDown ITDR monitors every identity, human and non-human, to catch compromise before attackers act. And Endpoint and email security stop attacks where they start - on the device and in the inbox. On top, ThreatDown MDR pairs AI-powered triage, with elite analysts who respond 24/7, detecting threats in a median of 5 minutes and containing them in 19. It's enterprise-grade protection at AI speed, without the headcount or complexity.

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Victor H. | Network Engineer, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 29, 2024

**What do you like best about ThreatDown?**

It sees threats that other products don't and easy integration with our MDR solution.

**What do you dislike about ThreatDown?**

I believe they can do a little bit more on tech support and patch management area.

**What problems is ThreatDown solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It's catching a lot of malware threats evryday and automatially deletes/quarantines them for us. The majority of the threats come from visiting the internet, which includes downloading malicious files.

**Official Response from Angela Kelleher:**

> Hi Victor,

Thank you for your feedback! We're thrilled to hear that ThreatDown is providing you with an excellent extra layer of protection by catching malware threats that other products may miss. ### 2. Very robust Product

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Christopher M. | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 29, 2024

**What do you like best about ThreatDown?**

We have been using ThreatDown for about 2 years and it has alieviated about 90% of our malicious software/malware tickets. I am grateful for the features such as reporting and task monitoring that allow us to streamline how we train our clients and techs on managing threats and alerts. The reporting feaature is especially usefull in empowering Clients to feel helpful in our mission to secure their network and devices. It is definitely product that our techs are able to use easily.

implementaion and deployment is easy as well> Definitely less of a headache than other threat protection solutions.

**What do you dislike about ThreatDown?**

I dislike the UI seemingly having 2 skins. It makes naviagtion a little cumbersome and confusing. Also no dedicated chat can make things a little difficult to troubleshoot. I would appreciate a chat support feature as opposed to just having a numer to call (Customer support is helpful however)

**What problems is ThreatDown solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Providing Endpoint Protection for many devices across many environments

**Official Response from Angela Kelleher:**

> Hi Christopher!
We're thrilled to hear that ThreatDown has been so effective in alleviating malicious software and malware tickets for your organization. Our reporting and task monitoring features are designed to streamline threat management and empower clients, and we're glad to hear that they have been helpful for you. We appreciate your feedback on the UI and the lack of dedicated chat support, and we will take this into consideration for future improvements. Thank you for choosing ThreatDown for your endpoint protection needs.
Best regards.

 ### 3. Very Good Product

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Joey S. | System Administrator, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 04, 2023

**What do you like best about ThreatDown?**

That it has a very aggressive monitoring system against malware and Ransome attacks

**What do you dislike about ThreatDown?**

Because it is very aggressive, you get a lot of false positives. You have to make a lot of policies for Domain servers, DHCP, SQL etc

**What problems is ThreatDown solving and how is that benefiting you?**

having almost free from most malware and Ronsome attacks in the past 4 years that we are using it.

**Official Response from Angela Kelleher:**

> Hi Joey
Thank you for your great star rating of Malwarebytes, we appreciate it.
Many thanks
Angela

 ### 4. ThreatDown, An Excellent Enterprise Cybersecurity Product

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Tech By Trade L. | Scientific Applications Specialist, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 25, 2024

**What do you like best about ThreatDown?**

ThreatDown (from Malwarebytes) allows me to monitor, manage, and update my customers' cybersecurity on their Windows, Mac, and Linux computers. ThreatDown comes with a centralized, web-based management console; integrated customer service; and a wealth of helpful documentation developed by Malwarebytes, recognized leaders in cybersecurity.

Their rates for MSPs are fair and they include marketing materials to help your partnered business grow under this helpful, secure platform. I highly recommend business owners and Systems Administrators reach out to Malwarebytes to learn more about ThreatDown and how it can secure their organization and its workstations.

**What do you dislike about ThreatDown?**

I have no complaints. This product is excellent; easy-to-use: affordable; and most-importantly, effective.

The only critique I have is that I like the name Malwarebytes and am happy to see many other IT professionals know and trust the name over the last 1+ decade. Although I see the business value in having a separate product name for the business services, I think your original name was perfect for businesses and homes, and growing in brand-recognition.

**What problems is ThreatDown solving and how is that benefiting you?**

ThreatDown helps my business manage cybersecurity around-the-clock for our customers.

**Official Response from Angela Kelleher:**

> Good day!
We're thrilled to hear that ThreatDown has been such a valuable asset for your business and your customers. Thank you for your positive feedback and for recommending our product. We appreciate your support!
Best regards.

 ### 5. Threatdown / MWB / One View, works everytime.

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Greg R. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 24, 2024

**What do you like best about ThreatDown?**

I love the interface being able to navigate from everything going on to individual sites, seeing what maitnence needs to be performed and if there are any risks. Last year we upped some of our clients to MDR and honestly havent had any issues since. Seems like whatever is going on behind the scenes is working and please keep it up. And the one time I needed to escalate a ticket, response was quick and solved in a day! Installing the package is easy on each of our new deployments and I've never had an issue. Checking in each day and following up with emails that I get multiple times a day keeps my mind at ease.

**What do you dislike about ThreatDown?**

The product is great, once in awhile i have an MFA error, that it just doesnt like the code a couple times then goes through. Thats it. I reccomend the software to anyone that will listen.

**What problems is ThreatDown solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Automatically keeping my clients safe and alerting me when something happens keeps my mind at ease and able to focus on other daily tasks without worry.

**Official Response from Angela Kelleher:**

> Hi Greg!
We're thrilled to hear that you love the interface and find it easy to navigate and maintain your clients' security. We're also glad to hear that our MDR service has been working well for you. We apologize for the occasional MFA error, and we'll continue to work on improving that aspect. Thank you for recommending our software!
Best regards.

 ### 6. Excellent and easy to understand interface

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Sven S. | Lead expert, Windows administration, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 24, 2024

**What do you like best about ThreatDown?**

I recently become a user and admin for ThreatDown, and I must say, I'm thoroughly impressed. What struck me most about this product is its simplicity. In a world cluttered with overly complex security solutions, ThreatDown stands out with its user-friendly interface and straightforward approach. Not only is it simple, but it's also incredibly easy to implement. The setup process was a breeze, making it accessible even to those who aren't tech-savvy. Despite its simplicity and ease of implementation, it doesn't compromise on effectiveness. The level of security and peace of mind it provides is top-notch. It's evident that a lot of thought has gone into making ThreatDown both accessible and powerful. Highly recommend for anyone looking for an efficient, easy-to-implement, and uncomplicated security solution!

**What do you dislike about ThreatDown?**

I miss mobile application that will give at least some basic live updatess whats going on on the portal.

**What problems is ThreatDown solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It si really good at detecting the malware, and other threats that are comming on day to day bassis. I am also very happy to see that it is not blocking most of the official solutions/programs used by my users, which makes the inmplementations really easy. Also with its daily and weeky reports it helps me keep track on all of the companies I support with ease!

**Official Response from Angela Kelleher:**

> Hi Sven!
Thank you for recommending ThreatDown! We're pleased to hear that it has been efficient in detecting malware and other threats while allowing easy implementation. We're glad that the daily and weekly reports have been beneficial for you in supporting the companies you work with.
Best regards.
Angela

 ### 7. Everything you need

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Pietro C. | Responsabile tecnico, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 14, 2024

**What do you like best about ThreatDown?**

The OneView consolebis great, it allows you to manage everything from a single point and it's fast.
The support is also very responsive and skilled.

**What do you dislike about ThreatDown?**

Sometimes there a few minor glitches but they want to know about them and do their best to fix them

**What problems is ThreatDown solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It secured my clients networks

**Official Response from Angela Kelleher:**

> Hi Pietro,

We're glad to hear that you find our OneView console great for managing everything from a single point. Our team works hard to provide fast and responsive support. We apologize for any minor glitches you've experienced, but we appreciate your feedback as it helps us improve. We're pleased to hear that ThreatDown has been able to secure your clients' networks.

Many thanks,
Angela

 ### 8. One of the best EDR systems out there.

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Machiel R. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 24, 2024

**What do you like best about ThreatDown?**

As an MSP services provider, we found ThreatDown to be easy to deploy, took us only 2 hours to deploy to 30 devices for a client. ThreatDown has helped me to help my customers pinpoint issues within their workforce. With weekly automated reports ,not only did it reduce the amount of malware on staff devices, it also pinpointed staff that were doing tasks other than work related research.
ThreatDown also gave them reporting to prove their commitment to security to their end customers. With all the functionality available, this has been a valuable all in one solution and easy to use.

We have also had to deal with some support tickets sent to MalwareBytes and I must commend them as they are quick to reply and very helpful.

**What do you dislike about ThreatDown?**

MacOS users have some extra steps to perform when setting the clients up, which was not explained in initial setup steps for users.

**What problems is ThreatDown solving and how is that benefiting you?**

One of the biggest problems clients have is with remote staff as they can not monitor what they do and thus exposes them to the risk of affecting their work machines or even falling victim to being hacked and company secrets being stolen.
With ThreatDown, we are able to limit this risk as the client are not only in the know when malicious software is being used or installed, but also feels more comfortable in knowing that their users are protected, especially witht he option of ransomware rollbacks which is of great concern.

**Official Response from Angela Kelleher:**

> Hi Machiel!
We're thrilled to hear that ThreatDown has been a valuable all-in-one solution for your MSP services, providing easy deployment and effective malware reduction. We appreciate your feedback about the extra steps for MacOS users and will work on improving the setup process for them.
Best regards.
Angela

 ### 9. Easy to use product that just works!

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Blake R. | IT Manager, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 13, 2022

**What do you like best about ThreatDown?**

Centralized control from the cloud-based dashboard means we can see the status of client devices in real-time and can push out most fixes remotely. Being cloud-based means it's perfect for those working from home times. Deploying the software via MDM is incredbily easy as your install package is customised.

They have a great online community and are constantly sharing useful information with tips and what is happening in Devsec.

Customer support and the account managers do a great job.

**What do you dislike about ThreatDown?**

One "bug" that I find annoying is removing a device from the dashboard so that it can be reimaged for another user when you add it back into the dashboard, it keeps the old device name as though names are kept cached.

Edit: This has since been resolved.

**Recommendations to others considering ThreatDown:**

Contact them for a trial and make sure it fits your business needs.

**What problems is ThreatDown solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Beforehand we did not have any antivirus software for our Mac users. Windows users were using a different vendor's software that wasn't compatible with MacOS so we wanted something that was cross-platform and would enable us to monitor everything from one place.

Being able to manage multiple systems from a single dashboard is incredibly efficient.

**Official Response from Angela Kelleher:**

> Hi Blake
Thank you very much for your positive and informative review.
This really helps us!
Many thanks
Angela

 ### 10. My ThreatDown Experience as a One Man Tech Team at a Small Business

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jeremy C. | Software Developer, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 23, 2024

**What do you like best about ThreatDown?**

How everything is easily accessible via the sidebar. I also, love how much control I have over the security of the company. Being a small team, a lot of our employees are using their personal devices and laptops to work on business tasks in the office, including myself. And I am able to set ThreatDown so my coworkers who use their personal devices are not restricted when they are out of office.

**What do you dislike about ThreatDown?**

Some of the phrasing for the elements in the sidebar are a little confusing and took some time for me to get use to what they mean. For instance having to navigate to the 'policies' tab in the sidebar to set up a group scan for all computers in the office.

**What problems is ThreatDown solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We had a cyber security breach where someone was able to set up an active shell gateway on our server. The Secret Service was actually involved because it was totally unknown to us for quite some time and it helped us find & eradicate the malware bad actor used to get into our system and then find the script that was giving that person access to our server.

**Official Response from Angela Kelleher:**

> Hi Jeremy!
Thank you for sharing your experience with ThreatDown! We're thrilled to hear that you find the sidebar easily accessible and that you appreciate the control it gives you over the security of your company, especially for personal devices. We understand your feedback about the phrasing in the sidebar and will take it into consideration for future improvements.
Best regards.
Angela

 ### 11. ThreatDown - a partner in cybersecurity

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Dan R. | Manager Service Desk, Higher Education, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 21, 2024

**What do you like best about ThreatDown?**

Everything - the customer service, the console, the software and how it protect us. They reach out monthly for checkups. We can easily see issues and remediate them. We get reports weekly on how we are doing and where our trouble spots are

**What do you dislike about ThreatDown?**

I honestly can't think of anything. There are some tiny glitches here and then (false positives) but they are rectified usually within the hour

**What problems is ThreatDown solving and how is that benefiting you?**

they are protecting our endpoints and have freed up my staff to work on other things as they remediate instead of finding global treats

**Official Response from Angela Kelleher:**

> Hi Dan,

Thank you for your glowing review of ThreatDown! We are thrilled to hear that you are satisfied with our customer service, console, software, and the protection it provides.
We appreciate your feedback on the occasional glitches and false positives, and we are constantly working to improve our services to provide you with the best cybersecurity solutions.
It's great to know that ThreatDown is effectively protecting your endpoints and allowing your staff to focus on other important tasks.

 ### 12. Great service, Excellent support!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Shawn P. | IT Technican, Information Technology and Services, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 30, 2024

**What do you like best about ThreatDown?**

We've employed ThreatDown for approximately two years, and it has significantly reduced about 90% of our malicious software/malware incidents. I appreciate the features, such as reporting and task monitoring, which enable us to efficiently train both clients and technicians in handling threats and alerts. The reporting feature is particularly valuable in empowering clients to actively contribute to our mission of securing their network and devices. It's unquestionably a product that our technicians find easy to use.

The implementation and deployment processes are straightforward, making it notably less troublesome than other threat protection solutions.

**What do you dislike about ThreatDown?**

I find the UI's dual appearance somewhat inconvenient, causing navigation to be a bit challenging and confusing. Additionally, the absence of a dedicated chat option can make troubleshooting a bit more difficult. While customer support via phone is helpful, I would appreciate the inclusion of a chat support feature.

**What problems is ThreatDown solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Enterprise level of security

**Official Response from Angela Kelleher:**

> Hi Shawn!
Thank you for your positive review and for choosing ThreatDown for your enterprise security needs! We're delighted to hear that ThreatDown has been effective in reducing malicious software incidents and that you find the reporting and task monitoring features valuable. We appreciate your feedback on the UI and the suggestion for a dedicated chat option, and we'll certainly take that into consideration for future updates. We're committed to providing exceptional customer support, and we're glad to hear that our phone support has been helpful for you. Thank you for your support and for sharing your experience with ThreatDown!
Best regards.
Angela

 ### 13. Great Platform and Support

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Peter P. | Managing Director, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 24, 2024

**What do you like best about ThreatDown?**

OneView is a great tool. We can login and check the status of all endpoints across multiple sites and customers. Endpoints that require attention show at the top of the screen so can easily be actioned.

**What do you dislike about ThreatDown?**

Genuinely nothing at the moment. Great platform that is easy to use.

**What problems is ThreatDown solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Solves having to check multiple different vendors to check status of our customers. Having multiple customers with different requirements ThreatDown ticked all the boxes across the board. This now allows us a single screen to check the status of all managed endpoints.

**Official Response from Angela Kelleher:**

> Hi Peter!
We're thrilled to hear that you find OneView to be a great tool for managing endpoints across multiple sites and customers. It's fantastic to know that ThreatDown is helping you easily identify and address endpoints that require attention.
Best regards.
Angela

 ### 14. Robust Protection Against Phishing

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Barbara C. | Ayudante de dirección, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 30, 2024

**What do you like best about ThreatDown?**

The online protection of Malwarebytes is phenomenal, protecting against potential phishing attacks by instantly blocking suspicious sites.

**What do you dislike about ThreatDown?**

Sometimes it marks safe emails as dangerous, but I prefer to have a security system that is too cautious rather than one that is not cautious enough.

**What problems is ThreatDown solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I feel much more secure conducting online transactions thanks to threatdown, as I know the websites I visit are authentic. I know of a case of website spoofing that copied the credit card details of a colleague from another company.

 ### 15. Powerful anti-malware that doesn't require many resources to keep us safe

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Judith J. | Ayudante Marketing, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 29, 2024

**What do you like best about ThreatDown?**

Threatdown allows us, apart from not being infected with viruses or malware, to stop access to unauthorized copies with removable drives. This offers us peace of mind, as we work with sensitive data.

**What do you dislike about ThreatDown?**

Sometimes, browsing the internet seems slower than on my home computer, where I don't have threatdown. I understand that the protection requires monitoring all the browsing.

**What problems is ThreatDown solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Threatdown monitors our browsing to prevent us from getting infected on any unauthorized websites, as we have departments that browse websites that we sometimes don't know if they are safe.

 ### 16. Easy to deploy and the reporting is great! - Now even better this year with more insights.

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Biotechnology | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 01, 2023

**What do you like best about ThreatDown?**

For me the best thing is the ability to deploy by link, command line, or file share. Having the choice in how it is installed is number one!

**What do you dislike about ThreatDown?**

My main point of contention is the roundabout way it takes to exclude a file from scanning after it has been identified as malicious. Aug 2024 update- Still need a better way to exclude files from scanning.

**What problems is ThreatDown solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The business needs succinctly auditable reporting about our endpoint protection.
Aug 2024 update - Having reporting quick at hand satisfies all regulatory instances I need.

 ### 17. User-Friendly Protection but Consider Cost

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Civic & Social Organization | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 02, 2024

**What do you like best about ThreatDown?**

One of the biggest advantages of ThreatDown is its centralized management console. This allows IT administrators to easily manage and configure security settings for all the clients from a single location. This can save a significant amount of time and effort compared to managing security settings on individual devices.

**What do you dislike about ThreatDown?**

Potential for false positives: ThreatDown may occasionally flag safe files as malware.
High cost: ThreatDown can be expensive compared to some other antivirus solutions.

**What problems is ThreatDown solving and how is that benefiting you?**

- Centralized Management: Simplifies managing security settings across multiple devices.
- Threat Detection and Response: Protects against malware and ransomware attacks.
- Vulnerability Assessment: Identifies weaknesses in a system's security posture.

 ### 18. A comprehensive Cyber Threat management solution with excellent support

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Charles S. | Head of Technology, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 01, 2024

**What do you like best about ThreatDown?**

Centrallized management of detections and remediations via the cloud console
Easy Implementation and deployment to end-points
Ransomware rollback that is now being extended to also include cloud attached storage
Superior end-point AV agents that are unintrusive to the users
Responsive Technical Support
Ease of identifying available software updates and patches and managing their deployment

**What do you dislike about ThreatDown?**

I've been using this solution for over 2 years and there is really nothing I can think of :-)

**What problems is ThreatDown solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It is allowing us to maintain a hightened security posture with a very small support staff.

 ### 19. Antimalware that does not bug and works as expected

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Victor M. | System administrator, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 02, 2024

**What do you like best about ThreatDown?**

Finally we have an antimalware that does not bug and works as expected. We do the installation via gpo and the administration is very simple. Everything is monitored and reconfigured from the ThreatDown cloud.

**What do you dislike about ThreatDown?**

To say something, 2-factor authentication forces me to always have my phone nearby if I want to log in.

**What problems is ThreatDown solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We don't have to worry about checking patches, suspicious programs, etc. We review everything from a single console. And every day we receive a report from ThreatDown with the possible vulnerabilities of our equipment. Fantastic.

 ### 20. Effective and Secure Web Protection

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Carolina R. | Contable, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 30, 2024

**What do you like best about ThreatDown?**

I am really impressed by the web protection offered by Threatdown. It effectively prevents access to harmful websites (I can attest to this, as sometimes I open emails that I shouldn't). It provides me with a layer of security while browsing the web.

**What do you dislike about ThreatDown?**

Sometimes it blocks important sites necessary for my work, which means I have to call my supervisor. This can be a bit inconvenient, but it's worth it for the security provided.

**What problems is ThreatDown solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The main benefits I get are safe browsing and being able to open emails calmly.

 ### 21. A very simple product to use with many useful features.

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Francisco B. | Jefe de Departamento, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 01, 2024

**What do you like best about ThreatDown?**

It is very useful in protecting equipment from any security threat. I like that I can access it from anywhere.

**What do you dislike about ThreatDown?**

I think it doesn't help me that when the license expires, I lose access to the service.

**What problems is ThreatDown solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I haven't had problems of that kind.

 ### 22. Malwarebytes & Threat Down are AWESOMEEEEE!!!!

**Official Response from Angela Kelleher:**

> Hi Sarb,

We appreciate your support! It's great to hear that ThreatDown's competitive antivirus and MDR services, along with real-time threat monitoring, are benefiting you.

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Non-Profit Organization Management | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 13, 2024

I do like the alerts that are sent to me when a threat has been discovered or quarintied.
The dashboard is user friendly and the implementaton across the my organization has been simple and seamless.

**What do you dislike about ThreatDown?**

I dislike all of the sales or upgrade messages. I'm happy with the services that I have right now

 ### 24. Rescue against ransomware

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Adam L. | Administrator, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 01, 2024

**What do you like best about ThreatDown?**

Cloud antivirus configuration, feedback on what needs to be fixed, what updates need to be performed. The weekly reports are also good.

**What do you dislike about ThreatDown?**

There are probably no flaws, the configuration is simple, and fixes are implemented quickly.

**What problems is ThreatDown solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It's not just an antivirus, it helps me configure Windows Server 2022

 ### 25. Impeccable Performance without Interruptions

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Vicente S. | Comercial, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 30, 2024

**What do you like best about ThreatDown?**

Malwarebytes works with hardly any effort. It runs silently in the background without slowing down my PC, which is crucial for my work. The protection does not interfere with performance, keeping everything running smoothly.

**What do you dislike about ThreatDown?**

During the updates (or so I believe), I have noticed that there is a slight slowdown. Nothing remarkable because we're talking about just a few moments, and it doesn't affect performance.

**What problems is ThreatDown solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Total protection for both web and applications that does not interfere with performance, keeping everything running without any noticeable slowdown.

 ### 26. Great product, easy to use

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Angas M. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 23, 2024

**What do you like best about ThreatDown?**

The online portal makes managing customers endpoints a breeze. I have no isses adding customers, downloading their custmized software and installing on their endpoints. Often customers are able to do with with little or no input from me or my team.

I frequently recommend ThreatDown products to my customers and so far have had no issues. If I ever need to get in touch with customer support (which isnt very often) I have never had a bad experience.

**What do you dislike about ThreatDown?**

I have trouble with the site and endpoint filtering on the portal occasionally, but often I am able to work it out. It just feels like it takes longer than it should.

**What problems is ThreatDown solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It gives me vistisbility into customers endpoints and shows me the sort of user they are. I can see if they are taking unnecessary risks and help to mitigate these risks.

**Official Response from Angela Kelleher:**

> Hi Angas!
We're thrilled to hear that you find our online portal easy to use and that it provides visibility into customer endpoints. Thank you for recommending ThreatDown products to your customers. We apologize for the occasional trouble with site and endpoint filtering and will work on addressing this issue to ensure a smoother experience for you. We appreciate your feedback and support.
Best regards.

 ### 27. In addition to being safe, it is efficient in the use of system resources.

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Joaquim C. | Ayudante de marketing, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 31, 2024

**What do you like best about ThreatDown?**

Malwarebytes offers excellent protection without consuming many system resources. At least on my computer, work and browsing are fast. I don't notice it running in the background.

**What do you dislike about ThreatDown?**

I can't highlight anything bad about the product. Perhaps it would be interesting for the user to know if their navigation, work mode, etc., are correct. Using some type of report.

**What problems is ThreatDown solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It allows us to work peacefully. Since Malwarebytes is there, we can do whatever we want, and if we visit a "prohibited" website, it won't let us in.

 ### 28. Excellent demonstrated protection

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Pedro M. | Accounting Department, Construction, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 01, 2024

**What do you like best about ThreatDown?**

I like why security is a mandatory issue in this and all companies. ThreatDwon makes us forget about the issue because it seems like nothing is happening.

**What do you dislike about ThreatDown?**

The price per workstation is correct, but for the server I find it a little expensive.

**What problems is ThreatDown solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Many websites and emails have fraudulent links to steal our data, credit cards, etc. I receive ThreatDown messages stating that a website or file is not secure. When it happens to me, I listen to it and everything goes well.

 ### 29. Very trusted tool

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**What do you dislike about ThreatDown?**

**What problems is ThreatDown solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Threats are the order of the day, and Malwarebytes helps us be better prepared to combat them

**Official Response from Angela Kelleher:**

It's great to hear that ThreatDown is helping you combat threats effectively. We appreciate your support and are here to assist you with any further needs.

**What do you like best about ThreatDown?**

Installs easily. Shows up on the portal quickly. Lots of detail on the Oneview site.

**What do you dislike about ThreatDown?**

Memory hog. Systray icon disappears often even when services are still running. Remediation rollback does not work as intended.

**What problems is ThreatDown solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Immediate alerts when suspicious activity is detected. Blocks malicious websites well.

 ### 31. Really very powerful system protector

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Xavier A. | Lawyer's assistant, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 02, 2024

**What do you like best about ThreatDown?**

I like to call it a system protector, since I think that's what it does. It does not allow our computers to become infected, nor does it allow our data to leave the company through clouds or USBs.

**What do you dislike about ThreatDown?**

I have sometimes deleted compressed files with a password, and I have had to call support to have them restored.

**What problems is ThreatDown solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Our IT professionals are delighted with ThreatDown, as they consider it an indispensable tool. They always have the console running, controlling who knows what.

 ### 32. Resilient Managed Endpoint Solution

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Benjamin W. | Justice of the Peace, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**What do you like best about ThreatDown?**

We have found threatdown to be a relable solution for our clients that easily integrates into our PSA. Our technicians find the management console easy to use with confidence in the protection offered. The easy implememtation onto clients devices is also helpful, especially when doing mass deployments.

**What do you dislike about ThreatDown?**

We would like to see more reporting and filtering of data in existing reports provided.

**What problems is ThreatDown solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The management and deployment of a relable Endpoint Detection and Response security solution

 ### 33. Knock on wood and Malwarebytes

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Nerea I. | Consultor interno de la propia compañía, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 26, 2024

**What do you like best about ThreatDown?**

What I like the most is that I don't even know what the program looks like. I know we have it installed and I know we've never had any problems.

**What do you dislike about ThreatDown?**

What I don't like, I wouldn't know. I could say it would be good if it gave us a report of attack attempts or bad websites we have visited monthly, for example.

**What problems is ThreatDown solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We don't have problems with threatdown. It is worth noting that sometimes it blocks websites that, in theory, are safe. But we usually report it and then it lets us in.

 ### 34. Being able to sleep Cyber-Safe!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Giovanni P. | Integratore sistemi, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 30, 2024

**What do you like best about ThreatDown?**

A very clear and intuitive console and the possibility of protecting both Windows, Linux and Mac environments. The protection for mobile devices in both Android and iOS environments is also very interesting and useful. Commands sent from the console are executed almost instantly. Quick and easy deployment.

**What do you dislike about ThreatDown?**

Every now and then some false positives but the support is very effective in resolving them if they are reported. A little heavy on older machines when running scheduled scans.

**What problems is ThreatDown solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The old security solution had started to "miss a few shots" so I was no longer at peace. In fact, by replacing it with Threat Down, I often detect some malware and some dangerous registry keys that were previously "invisible" to me!
I'm still completing the migration from the old solution, but the conditions are excellent!

**Official Response from Angela Kelleher:**

> Hi Giovanni!
Thank you for your positive feedback! We're thrilled that you find ThreatDown's console clear and intuitive, and that you appreciate its multi-platform protection capabilities. We understand that occasional false positives can be a concern, but we're committed to providing effective support to address any issues that arise. We'll also take note of your feedback regarding the performance on older machines and work on optimizing that aspect. We appreciate your support!
Best regards.

 ### 36. Comprehensive and Secure Web Protection

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Meritxell G. | Contable, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 30, 2024

**What do you like best about ThreatDown?**

The web protection of ThreatDown is very, very comprehensive. It effectively blocks malicious sites before they can cause any harm. It provides us with a constant sense of security while I browse.

**What do you dislike about ThreatDown?**

Sometimes it can be a bit too aggressive and block sites that are safe. Even so, it's not a big problem.

**What problems is ThreatDown solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Block malicious sites before they can cause harm to the system. It is very useful for those of us who cannot distinguish good sites from "bad" sites.

**Reviewed Date:** January 23, 2024

**What do you like best about ThreatDown?**

- UX - The admin interface is good and easy to use on a daily basis. The Windows side does not offer control though.
- The deployment is super easy with the specific installation and can be integrated with Teams if you need chat notification
- Sales and support are great and very easy to negotiate with
- Great price for corporates
- A lot of security settings to play with in the control panel.
- They offer extra services like Threat management so it would be one less app to manage internally

**What do you dislike about ThreatDown?**

Resources usage! Unfortunately, it uses a lot of resources so you need to change settings to make it as light as possible especially on OSX devices and Windows Server. Be careful.

**What problems is ThreatDown solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Helping protecting our clients from malware/viruses and cybersecurity attacks

**Official Response from Angela Kelleher:**

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer & Network Security | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 28, 2024

**What do you like best about ThreatDown?**

I've worked with quite a few AV software providers, on the consumer side and for the budiness side. I personally have had issues with other providors not responding promptly, which is extremely disappointing for the price we paid for their services. Now malwarebytes Threatdown is on the oposite end of the spectrum. I've had very few issues come up over time, but this most revent one is our Team was working to confirgure a new feature, but a mistake was made and we got ourselves (team of 4) locked out of our Malwarebytes Threatdown account, which was not good! We reached out to Adam Birgenheier, who we emailed since he's helped us before. He responded to our email within 2 hours of sending our "we need help!" request. He added Jacob McCormick from Support to our ticket who walked us through submitting a ticket online which is necissary before we can be assisted. I selected an unrelated issue type and made a note that we could not chose an option for "Account Lockout" which is what our issue was, and sent the ticket/request number back to Jacob, he assured me he would move the ticket along and that he did. By the next morning after a good nights rest I saw an email from Jamie H. that he had removed the SSO lockout. We were able to get back in and we are all good now.

I do want to note the original issue was not an issue with their product but a small issue caused by our Team trying to implement something for the first time, which is now resolved.

Now we are a smaller newer IT Company, and we've seen firsthand other software/service providers lowering the priority of our ticket because of our size, even if our issue was an easy fix (like this one I believe to be). Threatdown Support did not disaapoint, and I sensirely hope that all 3 of the kind gentelman who assisted us be applouded for their support and efforts to keep small new IT Companies like ours up and running so we can continue to grow and use their great product. Thanks guys!!!

**What do you dislike about ThreatDown?**

The one minor invonvenience I had is when submitting the ticket, there was no option under" Issue type" for Account/Administration Issues", or "SSO," just items for actual product itself's issues. But if you see the thingsd I like best section, you will notice that though it was a very very small inconvenience that in the end didnt affect the quickness of their support.

**What problems is ThreatDown solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We are an IT Company. We have a lot of cutomers who are not smart about tech. Threatdown like any AV/EP software is essential to protect those who dont know what they should not click on or open, or run in administrative permissions especially when it says on the name of the file "This is a Virus". Mistakes like these can make a business fail, and fail hard. Not everyone nowadays has the knowhow or common sense to protect themselves, especially if they arent willing to spend the time to learn, which is why we use Threatdown to stop these programs from killing bsuinesses.

**Official Response from Angela Kelleher:**

> Hi!
Thank you for sharing your positive experience with our support team! We are glad to hear that Adam, Jacob, and Jamie were able to promptly assist you and resolve the issue. We appreciate your feedback and will ensure that your kind words are shared with the team.
Many thanks,
Angela

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Oscar P. | Chief of IT Infrastructure at Ingenio Magdalena S.A., Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

I think that the malware solution is good, the way that identify and alert over the threats is very good, having a weekly reaport give me a complet overview the state of my infrastructure and the principal risk associated with.

Whend is necesary realize a deep analisys it gives me a good source of infomation about the client and the risks.

The solution is good and do the job.

**What do you dislike about ThreatDown?**

There is so many thinks that that could be make beatter:
1) Apply individual policies to devices.
2) Create a different access profiles separted by modules.
3) The support for the and sales contact for the product could be better.
4) Training for the clients should be included.

**What problems is ThreatDown solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Device protection.

 ### 46. Threatdown provides just the service I want to offer my customers

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Paul H. | Information Technology Specialist, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 10, 2024

**What do you like best about ThreatDown?**

ThreatDown's OneView Portal allows me to keep track of the protection offered to my clients so that I can pro-actively support them and add value that is not offered by my competitors.
Integration with ConnectWise Manage means that everything can be handled through my singel ticketing system.
Follow-up from their support team is of a very good standard.

**What do you dislike about ThreatDown?**

ThreatDown is not the cheapest option available, which requires me to spend time educating potential customers about the current threat landscape.
The very small businesses that I serve are very price driven, which makes it harder to convince them of the value of this investment.

**What problems is ThreatDown solving and how is that benefiting you?**

ThreatDown identifies and explains threat, which gives me information that I can use to educate prospects and clients.

**Official Response from Angela Kelleher:**

> Hi Paul!
Thank you for your feedback. We're pleased that our OneView Portal and integration with ConnectWise Manage are helping you pro-actively support your clients. We understand the challenge of educating small businesses about the value of our service and would love to know more about the materials and tools we can provide you to assist in this process. **Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Travis B. | Operations Manager, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 31, 2024

**What do you like best about ThreatDown?**

We and our clients are protected from Threats. In the 7 years we've been using them none have been affected by Ransomware when Threatdown is running. Only ransomeware event was once when a client onboarded a PC by themselves (didn't follow the process or connect them to corporate system for deployment) and it wasn't running Threatdown.

**What do you dislike about ThreatDown?**

Nothing of my mind to dislike about Threatdown products.

**What problems is ThreatDown solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Antivirtus, Antimalware, Blocking Bad Website and EDR.

 ### 49. Malwarebytes (ThreatDown) Endpoint Detection and Response

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Primary/Secondary Education | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 01, 2024

**What do you like best about ThreatDown?**

Malwarebytes (ThreatDown) Endpoint Detection and Response has done a great job of protecting our district from threats. In comparrison to other products we have used in the past, Malwarebytes detects many threats that the others don't and does a much better job of removing those threats.

**What do you dislike about ThreatDown?**

I don't have anything negative to say about

**What problems is ThreatDown solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It is doing a great job of protecting our environment and keeping our systems clean of malware.

 ### 50. Malwarebytes EDR solution has been a game changer for my school district.

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Chuck M. | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 04, 2023

**What do you like best about ThreatDown?**

It is lightweight, very effective, easy to deploy and quite user friendly. It has already saved my district from a possible ransomeware attack by quickly alerting me to the issue and disabling network access to the affected device!

**What do you dislike about ThreatDown?**

If there were anything that I didn't like about the product it would have to be that I receive what I believe to be an occasional false positive on some websites that our users visit.

**What problems is ThreatDown solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It is finding hidden spyware, malware and trojans that my previous product did not. It even thwarted a ransomware attack in my school district recently! It proactively blocks my end users from accessing websites and files that would result in a malware infection. So happy with this product!

**Official Response from Angela Kelleher:**

> Hi Chuck!
We are thrilled to hear that Malwarebytes EDR has been a game changer for your school district! We appreciate your feedback on ThreatDown's lightweight, effectiveness, ease of deployment, and user-friendliness.
