## About ThreatDown
AI has changed what businesses need to protect and how fast they need to respond. Ungoverned AI tools leak data through identities and API keys nobody's watching, while AI-driven attacks compress exploit windows from months to hours and generate the alert volume of dozens of attackers at once — a scale problem no team can staff its way out of. ThreatDown meets AI-scale risk with an AI-native platform built for more than the endpoint — one lightweight agent, one console, no tool sprawl. AI visibility flags every AI tool in use and blocks sensitive data before it reaches the model. ThreatDown ITDR monitors every identity, human and non-human, to catch compromise before attackers act. And Endpoint and email security stop attacks where they start - on the device and in the inbox. On top, ThreatDown MDR pairs AI-powered triage, with elite analysts who respond 24/7, detecting threats in a median of 5 minutes and containing them in 19. It's enterprise-grade protection at AI speed, without the headcount or complexity.

 ### 6. Great software with interesting abilities.

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Dan M. | Microcomputer Technician, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 26, 2021

**What do you like best about ThreatDown?**

I like the fact that the software is easy to use. It installs without a hitch and seems to be great for monitoring. I also like the fact that it can prevent users from accessing certain websites that might contain malicious code. I also like the fact that it is barely noticeable by the user and doesn't seem to interfere with daily functions like other applications of a similar nature do. The software is also great because it doesn't consume a lot of RAM.

**What do you dislike about ThreatDown?**

I think the software can be a little too sensitive at times preventing access to sites. I think it would be nice to have more customizable options available. I also feel like it prevents access to things that might be necessary for the user to complete their job at times.

**Recommendations to others considering ThreatDown:**

I think Malwarebytes for Business is a great product for anyone who wants to prevent their users from getting into too many things that they don't need access to. I also like the response time for the software in locating and isolating issues.

**What problems is ThreatDown solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I am preventing users from infecting the network with malicious code when they attempt to access certain sites. The majority of the time, Malwarebytes is excellent for keeping our endpoint users from getting into too many things that they shouldn't be accessing. I have also noted that it does an excellent job at filtering out sites that the users don't need to be accessing.

**Official Response from Angela Kelleher:**

> Hi Dan
Thank you very much for your informative review. This really helps us!
Best regards

 ### 11. A strong and user-friendly cloud-based endpoint protection.

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Sangchai H. | Product Manager, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 13, 2020

**What do you like best about ThreatDown?**

It is a very powerful endpoint protection. I used it with another AV vendor, but when I first installed Malwarebytes, it found a lot of threats that the existing AV never noticed. From the cloud-based management, it is a very simple tool for management and configuration with a nice and friendly GUI. I can get the report to manage the endpoint properly. The most we want from endpoint protection is powerful, user-friendly, and fair-priced, and that is what Malwarebytes Business can do.

**What do you dislike about ThreatDown?**

Sometimes it consumes more resources than usual when scanning the entire PC, and at the endpoint computers, it cannot show any historical scanning reports. It also cannot support Linux or Unix-based systems, but it's not a big problem. Almost all endpoints can still be covered by Malwarebytes.

**Recommendations to others considering ThreatDown:**

If you are looking to protect your endpoint with cloud-based management, Malwarebytes should be one of your candidates. It is important to consider trying the trial before fully deploying. It will be at no cost.

**What problems is ThreatDown solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The system can reduce the mean time to repair with endpoint and proactive threat protection through easy configuration and simple management. Cloud management makes it easy to manage endpoints everywhere. During the first deployment, it only took a day to learn the GUI and another day to deploy the agent to endpoint computers. The powerful threat protection can detect and remediate threats that other antivirus vendors cannot catch. This helps solve issues that I never thought were caused by malware or threats before. Although the proactive policy configuration might be slightly annoying for end users initially, over time they will become familiar with it, and it will prevent more and more outside threats from entering via web browsers, which is the most common entry point for threats.

**Official Response from Angela Kelleher:**

> Hi Sangchai
Thank you for the great and informative review - this really helps others investigating our products.
We appreciate it.

 ### 12. Managed SOC services dedicated to SMEs of any industry

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Manufacturing | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 23, 2023

**What do you like best about ThreatDown?**

As a member of an extremely small IT team, having Malwarebytes for Business help take on the security duties has allowed me to focus on other projects within the company. Their features are very easy to operate and once everything is setup, it'll quietly operate in the background whilst you continue your day-to-day.

**What do you dislike about ThreatDown?**

Malwarebytes for Business, whilst very easy to setup - the UI is very simple. There are times you'd wish there were more customisable options to help you see straight away information you would prefer to see of data presented in a way you consider to be important instead of having pre-set datasets given to you.

**What problems is ThreatDown solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Malwarebytes for Business has helped to provide additional security for our business environment. whilst relying solely on Microsoft native security and update functions, it wasn't enough and we didn't have the option to provide security reports to strengthen relationships with our clients. As an OEM company, we want to show clients they can trust their intellectual properties with us and we have realtime support from industry professionals on our side, supporting our infrastructure.

 ### 13. Protected and secured devices

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Nathaniel P. | Sales Development Representative, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 24, 2024

**What do you like best about ThreatDown?**

Threatdown has been a very helpful tool to ensure my device is secured and remediated with any potential threat.

**What do you dislike about ThreatDown?**

UI is a bit slow. not sure if my device or the application itself.

**What problems is ThreatDown solving and how is that benefiting you?**

As an end user of a protected device. It does give me confidence on clicking links and being protected from malicious websites.

**Official Response from Angela Kelleher:**

> Hi Nathaniel!
Thank you for sharing your feedback. We're committed to providing a secure and efficient solution for protecting your devices from potential threats.
Best regards.

 ### 17. Great product, it just works! Do yourself a favor, give it a try.....you'll be glad you did!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Tyson B. | Information Technology Supervisor, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 27, 2020

**What do you like best about ThreatDown?**

The ease of use. This thing just runs like a well oiled machine. I have had zero problems with Malwarebytes and will continue to use this product in the future. I also am a personal user and this is always my first recommendation to friends, family and coworkers. I have been an early adopter of the product and have been using since back in the days of freeware. Update: Since writing the initial review, I have since switched to the Nebula cloud console. Though the previous version was great, the Nebula console has so many more features and is much more user friendly.

**What do you dislike about ThreatDown?**

It can be a little tricky to install on computers from the management console. However, these issues can all be easily researched. The community is always great to post detailed instructions for the most common solutions. I have never came across a problem that couldn't be easily fixed. Update: Remote installation issues have been fixed and it is now much easier to install remotely. My only current gripe would be that you now must purchase server licenses separately and they can be a bit pricey.

**Recommendations to others considering ThreatDown:**

Give it a shot, you won't be disappointed. The ease of use and features on t his product are amazing. I am the only IT person at the library where I work. To have a tool like this that reduces time and money is absolutely priceless. Plain and simple, it just works as intended and has very little maintenance and upkeep. At no point have I ever regretted our decision to stay with this product. We are up for a renewal this year and we have no plans to switch and will continue to invest in this product in years to come. Update: Still highly recommended, look at the Nebula platform when deciding what solution works best for you!

**What problems is ThreatDown solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It keeps are working environment much more secure than our previous solution. Much easier to manage in real time. This things is a money saver and pays for itself. The time I have to personally touch a PC due to malware has been significantly reduced. I am the only person in my organization IT wise. So to have a time saving tool like this is absolutely priceless to me. Update: This continues to be true. Our environment continues to be safe and secure and this allows me to focus on other important tasks.

**Official Response from Malwarebytes Anti-Malware Mobile:**

> Hi Tyson, we're glad you found our software easy to use and smooth running!

 ### 18. Better anti-malware/antivirus

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Joshua S. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 01, 2023

**What do you like best about ThreatDown?**

This product detects malware much better than others we have tried. We have tried several over the past few years.

**What do you dislike about ThreatDown?**

The Nebula interface is basically unusable from a mobile device web browser. The contact system doesn't work. I tried many times to request to be contacted from there and it was unsuccessful.

**What problems is ThreatDown solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Removing malware that previous products missed.

 ### 19. Very reliable product

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed Date:** January 23, 2024

Dashboard administration, easy deployment

**What do you dislike about ThreatDown?**

Nothing catches 100% of threats. Very easy to manage.

 ### 20. Malwarebytes is the leader in malware security

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Keir B. | Business Owner, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 12, 2020

**What do you like best about ThreatDown?**

The ease of use and how well it removes and protects you from unwanted software, malware, ransomware.

**What do you dislike about ThreatDown?**

The cost for business vs. the cost for home protection if very different. I would like a company to get closer in the prices. Small and micro businesses get hammered by the high cost to run a business and I would like it if they would get a break on costs.

**Recommendations to others considering ThreatDown:**

If you are on the fence about your choice. I would take the free evaluation and give it a spin on 5-10 users and you will see a huge advantage compared to other softwares in the same field.

**What problems is ThreatDown solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Protection from Malware, Spyware, Unwanted or PUP (Potentially Unwanted Programs), and Ransomware. The ROI or return on investment is there if you have people that love to google random items and not paying attention to the sites they are clicking on.

**Official Response from Angela Kelleher:**

> Hi Keir
Thanks for rating us five stars and naming us the leader in malware security, we couldn’t be happier! Seriously, you made our day, and we really appreciate it!
Best regards,
Angela

**Reviewed Date:** November 20, 2019

We have tried many solutions in the past, and this one seems to be the most user friendly out of them all. The central management aspect is key for us, and this one works very well.

**What do you dislike about ThreatDown?**

I have no particular dislikes although I had some trouble with deployment but the support team got the issue ironed out and we are all good now. Edit: after almost 4 years of using the product, we have had a total of 4 support tickets.

**What do you like best about ThreatDown?**

I cannot see it during my work but I know it hleps in the background.I really appreciate the ability to update the software on my computers

**What do you dislike about ThreatDown?**

I would find a German translation very helpful, especially for such difficult topics as cyber security

**What problems is ThreatDown solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It shows very simply which software needs an update and how urgently and can usually carry out the update itself,
It watches over my network and filters out threats in the background
