It was always my go-to when I needed to clean a machine. I have even partnered with them to be a reseller. However it was always one of never the whole corperate solution. ThreatDown is the next logical step. As a managed Service Provider we are always looking to stay one jump ahead when it comes to security. That is why I have imbraced ThreatDown whole heartedly. It hase the Antivirus engine I've trusted and the management console tha5t will allow me to manage all my sites in one place. it has several levels to choose from so you can pick your poision. This allows you to pick which ever level is best for your client, That way you can build the security sheild best suited to your customers needs. This is very easily done. The addon system makes it easy for you as a salesman\security adviser to help your customer see the benefits of each level. The implementation is as easy as send ing an email or schediuling the install using your RMM service. The integration with your RMM is a normal process with easy step by step instructions. I have used this frequently and it has become an easy process. But if you need the Support they are just a ticket awy and you have your choice of a phone call or email contact. **What do you dislike about ThreatDown?** ThreatDown is new and being new it will learn as we travel togeather. I am decently technical, so I didn't need a large number of support contracts or a dedicated TAM, and I just wanted some of the best in real-time protection that didn't solely depend on "malware signatures" and manual scanning. As ThreatDown, and now upgraded to a managed solution with more than 10 licenses (in total), the features that have since been added for near-real time (and rather non-invasive) monitoring of mobile devices and the monthly report are rather good touches. **What do you dislike about ThreatDown?** I did have a lot of trouble in setting up the DNS add-on feature, and ultimately ended up separting this to a competitor and having it removed when I changed my subscription to include mobile protection. I'm also not sure if it was fully worth it to upgrade to the managed EDR solution in order to get the mobile protection, but without the managed solution, there appears to have been no path to provide me with mobile protection. At least, the monthly reports are nice, but since I do not operate an environment with 24/7 risk of ransomware or the like, it often looks a bit overkill. **What problems is ThreatDown solving and how is that benefiting you?** I don't need to worry about the active management of security (software upgrades, anti-malware and ransomware) on endpoint devices in my environment. There is a nice dashboard that shows you at a glance your current security status. You can easily see the detections, quarantine, and manage endpoints at a glance. Youc an see every computer at a glance, if they are on or off, which systems need to be scanned or need an agent updated, OS versions, and more. Trusted antimalware provider, lightweight, does not take a lot of resources to run, does not bog down systems. Works on Windows XP! And 7, 10, 11, and Mac. Easy to install and implement. **What do you dislike about ThreatDown?** When I login to the dashboard it tells me i have exceeded my seat count and that I'm 24 over my licenses, and yet on the same screen it says I've used 25/26 licenses. It's annoying. :) I also manage 4 different clients on ThreatDown, so I have to maintain 4 different MFA logins none of which are push-based, so I have to go into Authenticator myself for each to login. **What problems is ThreatDown solving and how is that benefiting you?** We needed an enterprise wide antimalware platform that we could deploy on every endpoint. We needed to be able to centrally manage all of these systems. The recently added a "security scoring" system that helps us adjust our security posture, and gives us guidance about how to improve our security. I've been using malwarebytes for the past 15+ years and its just nonstop improvements from the beginning. This new ThreaDown is great with keeping our client's systems safe and clean, we get notifications upon anything found and quarantined so we can trust the active monitoring of this and very easy to control and maintain. Implementation was seemless, you almost can't even tell it's on there. **What do you dislike about ThreatDown?** I haven't really found anything to dislike with ThreatDown yet, it is a fine program and really hits the mark. I guess if i had to find something to dislike it would be some of the potential "false positives" as we'll get an email that a file from 10+ years ago is all of a sudden a problem. **What problems is ThreatDown solving and how is that benefiting you?** ThreatDown helps manage all of the endpoints that are under it's protection, we can go in to the web portal and browse between multiple clients. You can use this web portal for a number of things for your endpoints. This has a complete list of your endpoints broken up by groups (companies) so you can be sure they're all organized properly. You can monitor the network status and when it was online/last seen, view installed programs, run all scans and AV updates via the web portal so you don't have to disrupt a user from their work. ### 22. I was able to set up an entire office of 50 systems within minutes, compared to the hours that other products take. The GUI is set up in a way that puts all the critical information right at your fingertips, so you feel like you have your finger on the pulse of the organization. The alerts are easy to read and understand, not to mention very quick. You are aware of any system that has been compromised in seconds, and the program is already taking the necessary steps to remediate the threat! I already highly recommend this to other MSPs that offer cybersecurity as part of their client offering! There are also multiple integrations with the major RMM/PSA tools that are used in the industry, so it eliminates one less location you need to review to identify client issues. Customer Support is flawless. After utilizing their tech support for the 5th time, it became apparent that it was a no-go, even if I allowed the dozen Malwarebytes sites through to the PC manually through use of a Hosts file. Had to uninstall the Endpoint Agent from the non-internet PC's. Wasted money on a few licenses that way. The best thing in my mind is the introduction of the Security advisor on the dashboard. It keeps me motivated to improve various settings and especially patching as it gives you relatively immeditate feedback if what you are doing is improving your security posture - this is a game changer. We have been using it for many years now, alongside with another security tool (pre-2022 Kaspersky, now Cynet) and after making the right exclusions for each other everything runs smoothly and no conflicts. The embedded EDR agent on our workstations and servers (Windows, Mac, Linux) actively protects, capable through its behavioral analysis of blocking both known and unknown threats (zero days), highlighting malicious commands executed via PowerShell.
