## About ThreatDown
AI has changed what businesses need to protect and how fast they need to respond. Ungoverned AI tools leak data through identities and API keys nobody's watching, while AI-driven attacks compress exploit windows from months to hours and generate the alert volume of dozens of attackers at once — a scale problem no team can staff its way out of. ThreatDown meets AI-scale risk with an AI-native platform built for more than the endpoint — one lightweight agent, one console, no tool sprawl. AI visibility flags every AI tool in use and blocks sensitive data before it reaches the model. ThreatDown ITDR monitors every identity, human and non-human, to catch compromise before attackers act. And Endpoint and email security stop attacks where they start - on the device and in the inbox. On top, ThreatDown MDR pairs AI-powered triage, with elite analysts who respond 24/7, detecting threats in a median of 5 minutes and containing them in 19. It's enterprise-grade protection at AI speed, without the headcount or complexity.

## ThreatDown Reviews
 ### 1. It's almost a set it and forget service.

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Consumer Electronics | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 27, 2024

**What do you like best about ThreatDown?**

The communication you get from the ThreatDown service. The service will notify when there appears to be an issue and the techs will work with you until you feel comfortable with the results. The service is very easy to use and not difficult to understand. It really is a great service. The patch management is very useful as well as the software inventory. Getting to see what users installed on their remote systems is very helpful.

**What do you dislike about ThreatDown?**

The only downside I can think of is trying to write the exception policies for your business since we have an in-house CRM system in which ThreatDown doesn't recognize.

**What problems is ThreatDown solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Since our users are remote, it helps keep an eye on their systems and manages their up dates.

**Official Response from Angela Kelleher:**

> Hi!
We're thrilled to hear that you find our communication and notification system, patch management, and software inventory features helpful. Thank you for your valuable feedback!
Many thanks,
Angela

The best piece, is the piece of mind i get at night that our devices are protected.

Phone support would be more useful than the portal provided. The email notifications do not contain the information provided by the MDR team, they force us to login to the portal to track down the case and data vs putting the data upfront.

It is protecting our devices.

 ### 14. A cut above the rest

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Matthew V. | IT Project Manager, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 18, 2019

**What do you like best about ThreatDown?**

With a focus on quality that extends to the company’s security posture, as well as employees’ ability to work without interruption, relying on unmanaged freeware and consumer security products for endpoint protection was taking its toll on our IT team. We were beginning to experience alert fatigue, and worried about exposing the company to undue cybersecurity risks.

We needed to regularly replace employee machines because they were running slow or had malware and ransomware infections. Up to 20 successful attacks infected employee endpoints each month, limiting their productivity and ability to service customers. Of equal concern was the fact that every infection was taking several days to fully remediate..

For each response, the we needed to set up a new machine, ship it to the employee, and then help the employee get up and running. The employee then needed to ship the infected endpoint back to corporate headquarters, where we would expend hours of valuable time investigating the threat, attempting to recover lost files, and re-imaging the machine.

MWB has changed that completely for us and we now feel like we have our assets under control and more importantly, our end-users have time back to focus on customers.

**What do you dislike about ThreatDown?**

Overall we have not had many issues that have crippled us while using MWB, however one thing that I believe needs to be improved upon is when using "Suspicious Activity" and closing the incident which is then supposed to add the MD5 to the exclusion list, it often re-appears in the list, again and I have to keep adding it. Hopefully this will be improved upon with time.

**Recommendations to others considering ThreatDown:**

NA

**What problems is ThreatDown solving and how is that benefiting you?**

MWB has been a lifesaver for our company and gave our team time back that was needed and our end-users time that would have been lost. However, we’ve recently run into an issue with some of our machines constantly dropping network connection while using MWB and after uninstalling the product is working normally, again. So now we are researching what exclusions need to be added to stabilize this for our end-users, so they do not experience network issues.

 ### 32. Malwarebytes for Business is an excellent compliment for our cybersecurity needs

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Justin N. | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 26, 2023

**What do you like best about ThreatDown?**

We've been using Malwarebytes for Business for eight years and the levels of protection for our endpoints meet and even exceed our expectations. We're able to confidently protect our endpoints and monitor any security issues in real time with little effort and time. It allows our IT department to be flexible and still have the confidence that our network assets are protected and patched. The Nebula console is one of the most user friendly interfaces we've come across. We can't recommend it enough.

**What do you dislike about ThreatDown?**

After eight years I don't really have anything negative to say about the product, the deployment or the management. We've been well satisfied with Malwarebytes for Business.

**What problems is ThreatDown solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It keeps our endpoints (clients and servers) protected from bad actors and user issues. It also keeps us protected from attacks internally and externally. We're also able to control inventory and ensure our endpoints are patched with the latest security patches and updates.
