## About ThreatDown
AI has changed what businesses need to protect and how fast they need to respond. Ungoverned AI tools leak data through identities and API keys nobody's watching, while AI-driven attacks compress exploit windows from months to hours and generate the alert volume of dozens of attackers at once — a scale problem no team can staff its way out of. ThreatDown meets AI-scale risk with an AI-native platform built for more than the endpoint — one lightweight agent, one console, no tool sprawl. AI visibility flags every AI tool in use and blocks sensitive data before it reaches the model. ThreatDown ITDR monitors every identity, human and non-human, to catch compromise before attackers act. And Endpoint and email security stop attacks where they start - on the device and in the inbox. On top, ThreatDown MDR pairs AI-powered triage, with elite analysts who respond 24/7, detecting threats in a median of 5 minutes and containing them in 19. It's enterprise-grade protection at AI speed, without the headcount or complexity.

**Official Response from Angela Kelleher:**

> Hi Srikanth!
It's great to hear that ThreatDown has been instrumental in securing endpoints for both your business and your clients. We appreciate your support and look forward to continuing to meet your security needs.

Now we have 7 day ransomware rollback. The possibility of returning a computer 7 days back is purely fantastic. Awesome.

Malwarebytes Business is lacking the Application whitelisting feature, email protection and Data Loss Prevention(DLP). Apart from this it was the best tool im came across.

**What problems is ThreatDown solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Malwarebytes is benifiting me to defend the IT systems in our business environment. It helps protecting our systems from external threats and blocks malicious processes if they are running and quarantine those processes and isolate if needed.

**Reviewed Date:** March 01, 2024

**What do you like best about ThreatDown?**

Its a one stop shop for antivirus/antimalware, I can also see who needs os patches as well as pc's that have not been on or been able to communicate with very easy. I also like that I can easily create a group and apply different options to the members of that group without a hassle. I can also push installs to new clients from the console which makes it very easy to use. Currently the number of features is amazing for the price point.

 ### 12. Threatdown is light, easy and protects our endpoints and great support

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Higher Education | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 26, 2020

**What do you like best about ThreatDown?**

Having Threatdown in our environment helped us find malware that our other AV did not find. This reduced the amount of infections down to almost nothing.
We used to spend a few hours a week dealing with infections and reloading computers. We barely spend time nowdays
Also, their custmer service check on us every so often to let us know about new features

**What do you dislike about ThreatDown?**

We use Threatdown and a different AV as a two layer defense for us. Unsure if we can go back to just one but so far they both work great together.
It is more expensive to have two AV solutions but it saves times to our IT department

**Recommendations to others considering ThreatDown:**

I like that it is easy to manage on the web console. The very few times I had to contact their support it has been great

**What problems is ThreatDown solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We minimized the amount of infections to almost zero. In the past I had to deal with infections almost every two weeks.
Now we have more free time to focus on projects

**Official Response from Angela Kelleher:**

> Hi!
Thanks so much for your very positive review and shout out to our support team – this made our day!
Best regards
Angela

 ### 13. Best Malware Security system on the Market!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jesse L. | IT Support, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 15, 2019

**What do you like best about ThreatDown?**

Company wide, love that you can deploy the system within our organization very easily and promptly. Also have had zero complaints from people using it within our organization. Also great UI for usability!

**What do you dislike about ThreatDown?**

Can't say I have much things to say bad about Malwarebytes. Ive been a long time user that enjoys it a lot! But one thing that can change slightly is dashboard UX Design to be easily usable.

**Recommendations to others considering ThreatDown:**

Honestly, it's worth it. I personally have used Norton and it was okay but I did not like the UI and it didn't detect somethings that could have been harmful. But with Malwarebytes I have never had any issues since getting it back since 2015

**What problems is ThreatDown solving and how is that benefiting you?**

PopUp protection and Malware protection within our organization is key. We're a known company and we on occasion get fake emails with viruses or people trying to breach someones computer. With Malwarebytes we have a sense of security and it has helped a lot!

**Official Response from Angela Kelleher:**

> Hi Jesse
We are very grateful for your 5* review and informative feedback, this is all great to know.
Best regards
Angela

 ### 14. Superb security, Lots of features and complete peace of mind.

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Matt C. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 30, 2024

**What do you like best about ThreatDown?**

Threatdown is extremely user-friendly. When we were choosing an endpoint protection product to add to our service offering, there were several important factors that it had to include. These factors were dependeable security, The ease of management and training for new employees to manage the back end part of it, and a product that does not cause the operating system to slow down when installed. Additionally, we were specifically interested in DNS web filtering, which is not offered as an add-on by many vendors. Malwarebytes proved to be particularly desirable for us as it fulfilled all of these requirements. As an added bonus the implementation of the product is fast and easy with several differnet install options available and i have also found the customer support ticketing and account management to be very friendly.

**What do you dislike about ThreatDown?**

The only issue I have with Threatdown is that its reporting features are a bit basic. I would prefer to have a detailed report that shows the number of patches installed on each device for every client, as well as the number of updates, threats removed, and websites blocked. It would be great if this report could be customized and have a customer-facing format with a white-labeled logo. This way, we could send reports to our clients, showcasing the proactive measures we have taken since their onboarding. This will make our clients feel like they are getting a lot of value compared to just a standard antivirus. Currently, our clients are unable to see all the patching, updating, and behind-the-scenes response efforts, and a summarized report would provide them with peace of mind.

**What problems is ThreatDown solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Threatdown simplifies the management of endpoint security by removing the need for multiple applications. Malwarebytes is protecting against phishing links, general viruses, trojans, malware, and potentially unwanted programs. Unlike other vendors, Malwarebytes identifies potential threats without being over protective and blocking everything which i have seen with other products on the market. Even if no other tools are used on the device, i can feel confident that my customers are protected with threatdown, and with the ransomware rollback feature it adds extra peace of mind.

**Official Response from Angela Kelleher:**

> Hi Matt!
We're thrilled to hear that ThreatDown has simplified your endpoint security management and provided comprehensive protection for your customers. We understand your feedback about the reporting features and will work to enhance this aspect of the product.
Best regards.
Angela

**What do you like best about ThreatDown?**

This product has saved out company many times. What's not to be happy with it. EDR, Monitoring, Simple Console to use. Rapid deployment.

**What do you dislike about ThreatDown?**

Their new implimentation to support Security and CVE's needs work. It is good, but still young.

**What problems is ThreatDown solving and how is that benefiting you?**

With Threatdown it has helped with the support of our users and making sure they are secure and protected.

**Official Response from Angela Kelleher:**

> Good day!

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Daren A. | Substitute Teacher, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

Very easy to install to multiple clients and provides excellent protection in all your malware and spyware needs

**What do you dislike about ThreatDown?**

Sometimes the customer service can be lacking but most of the time its good

**Official Response from Angela Kelleher:**

 ### 18. ThreatDown

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Information Services | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 23, 2023

**What do you like best about ThreatDown?**

ThreatDown has not only helped us protect our customers from malware, viruses, ransomware, etc., but also gives helpful information such as software installed, OS updates applied, last user, etc., all in a single pane of glass. Support is very helpful when there are issues. Quarterly reviews with ThreatDown are very beneficial.

**What do you dislike about ThreatDown?**

Nothing to dislike, but as with all security products, you have to tune the product to each customer's needs to ensure you are not blocking things needed and causing problems, especially with servers. Quarterly reviews with ThreatDown helps with this.

**What problems is ThreatDown solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Protecting our customers from the growing security concerns they face and giving them one of the features they need for Cyber Insurance and other security standards they must meet. The protection it offers cuts down on the support calls we receive, saving our customers money. It also cuts down on security issues that can give us a bad name since it is our job to protect them.

**Official Response from Angela Kelleher:**

> Hi Stephen
Thank you so much for the very positive review, we really appreciate your feedback and the shoutout to our support team. Great to know we are helping protect your customers in this ever evolving security landscape.
Best regards
Angela

 ### 19. Constant monitoring of threats

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Rothe V. | Administrator, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 22, 2024

**What do you like best about ThreatDown?**

Web browsing is constantly monitored and reports are provided imediately when a threat is detected or weekly.

**What do you dislike about ThreatDown?**

I have no complaints, the product has kept our organization protected.

**What problems is ThreatDown solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I sold a dental practice two years ago that was attacked by ramsonware last year. Threatdown has kept our current practice from going through this experience.

**Official Response from Angela Kelleher:**

> Hi Rothe,

We appreciate your review and are happy to hear that ThreatDown has helped prevent your organization from experiencing the challenges of ransomware. Thank you for choosing ThreatDown for your security needs.

Many thanks,

Angela

 ### 20. User friendly interface

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Education Management | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 29, 2019

**What do you like best about ThreatDown?**

The interface of the endpoint management is super easy to use. When I log in to the dashboard, I can immediately see if there is a problem with one of my end user machines. The company listens to its customers very well, I had suggested in a review that they add a search function to the endpoint lists and it was added in one of the subsequent updates. With the new Investigation features, it is super easy to locate an issue. Whenever I have had an issue, the customer support is very helpful and quick to respond.

**What do you dislike about ThreatDown?**

There are definitely still some bugs that need worked out. For example, today when looking at my dashboard, I have an endpoint that says "Suspicious Activity Detected", but when I click to see details, it shows no suspicious activity. I also can't seem to clear the issue, so I just have an alert that leads to nothing.

**Recommendations to others considering ThreatDown:**

It's the most convenient antimalware I've experienced.

**What problems is ThreatDown solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We are catching issues quickly instead of relying on end users to inform us of infections. I can detect an issue with a machine before the user even knows that something is wrong.

**Official Response from Angela Kelleher:**

> Good day!
Thank you for the glowing review! We're glad to hear that ThreatDown is living up to its promises and providing you with the information you need at a quick glance.
As for listening to our customers feedback - we really do take everything we hear on board. This ultimately helps us deliver solutions that meet the needs of our customers.
Best regards.
Angela

 ### 21. Simple and Powerful

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Hospital & Health Care | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 24, 2024

**What do you like best about ThreatDown?**

ThreatDown is very easy to setup and deploy. Pre-sales support is excellent and they are willing to work with you to help it fit your business. I use it on many machines across several businesses as I primary line of defense. Frequently It detects many more items then the default Windows AV did. The web consol is straight forward, yet able to give me everything I need to control it the way I like. It's ease of integration makes for an obvious choice especially when compared to the competition.

**What do you dislike about ThreatDown?**

Makeing intital contact with the right people took a bit longer then I would have liked but once you are in, you are talking to people that can get things done and know their product.

**What problems is ThreatDown solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I needed a way to protect my end users that wasn't overly complicated. I support many small / medium businesses and I needed something that would work for the smallest and the biggest, had easy setup and deployment, and had economics that made sense. ThreatDown was the only one that satisfied all of those requirements.

**Official Response from Angela Kelleher:**

> Good day!
Thank you for your feedback! We understand the importance of efficient setup and deployment, and we're pleased to hear that ThreatDown has been able to meet your business needs. We will continue to strive for excellence in our customer support.
Best regards.
Angela

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Lorenzo R. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 24, 2024

**What do you like best about ThreatDown?**

the suite and interface for accessing the console are fantastic; the ease of use and installation are perfect, including monitoring; the integration in windows, macos and linux is perfect at the moment, even with the latest versions of the operating system;
I use it frequently for all clients and it also works very well as a monitoring tool;

**What do you dislike about ThreatDown?**

often by installing EDR on older PCs it happens that they become very slow and unable to work;expiration notifications are slightly difficult to configure or in any case not automatic;customer support needs to be improved in the native language or in any case with faster assistance channels

**What problems is ThreatDown solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Web blocking, Endpoint protection, real-time protection

**Official Response from Angela Kelleher:**

**Reviewed by:** Ramos M. | Jefe de Soporte, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 16, 2020

**What do you like best about ThreatDown?**

Malwarebytes is easy to use, customizable, very intuitive, it is a capable antivirus and antimalware product that offers real-time protection with very good performance and behavior.

**What do you dislike about ThreatDown?**

The free version of Malwarebytes but I don't consider it very good to be used as a separate antivirus. In any case, the free version in conjunction with an antivirus is good to check and eliminate malware on a computer
I was reviewing and documenting the tests carried out in SafetyDetectivesy and I could see that the product obtained a very good rating in terms of detecting malware, with much better performance than kaspersky which is the product that I previously used.

**Recommendations to others considering ThreatDown:**

I find Malwarebytes to be one of the best antimalware scan engines I have tried. The free version is recommended to use it with an antivirus and real time protection, the Premium version is very effective. I find it to be very light and stable. I think it is an excellent option.

**What problems is ThreatDown solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It took me a few minutes to understand how to use the program. It was a quick check of the computer to make sure it was well protected. I was struck by how quickly a test virus was detected and how it generated the alert with possible actions with a very good reaction time.

**Official Response from Angela Kelleher:**

> Hi Ramos
Thanks for your amazing score, we’re super pleased to know that you are happy with our products!
Best regards,
Angela

 ### 27. Malwarebytes is one of the best reliable security solution Available

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Brian D. | Senior IT Specialist, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 13, 2019

**What do you like best about ThreatDown?**

The real time protection of the product is is really a powerful tool that helps our end users to focus on their task w/o getting any concerns about viruses or malwares as the product blocks it right away.

**What do you dislike about ThreatDown?**

The few concerns I have is when the end point scanning takes a lot of time to do and it affects the users experience. the exception list is a hit and miss sometimes.

**Recommendations to others considering ThreatDown:**

Improve the Exception list options as sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn't. also the quarantine of programs sometimes deletes the whole file (which is a false positive file) to a point that it will not be recoverable anymore.

**What problems is ThreatDown solving and how is that benefiting you?**

so far i did not have any major problems with Malwarebytes as when i do we will just check with their support and their support would provide us the solution that we need. they have a very active support community.

**Official Response from Malwarebytes Anti-Malware Mobile:**

> We're happy to learn our software has eliminated concerns for your end users!

 ### 28. We feel safe

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Construction | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 25, 2024

**What do you like best about ThreatDown?**

I have trusted Malwarebytes for years on a personal level, and now my company trusts ThreatDown.

**What do you dislike about ThreatDown?**

Nothing to highlight. Sometimes it can be difficult to uninstall if you don't use the uninstaller correctly. I suppose it is a self-protection system of the software itself.

**What problems is ThreatDown solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I feel that my client computers are safer and browsing is safe

 ### 29. Wonderful product, people, service, and results!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**What do you like best about ThreatDown?**

About 5 years ago the school system for which I work had one curious teacher that just couldn't resiste the opportunity to click in his email and see why he was getting an invoice from China...10 minutes later I had to take the entire campus' network down due to Emotet, which breezed its way through our existing antivirus at the time.

I had used the free version of Malwarebytes for years, and had been wanting to dump the existing AV vendor, so I took this as an opportunity to call the Malwarebytes help desk asking about their solutions to my current and ongoing AV needs. They were a godsend! They not only helped me by giving me the tools to stop Emotet and get it 100% off of my network, but they also were there with me through the entire process. Afterward I knew the AV company I wanted to become a customer of, since this same company just helped me and my school district when we were NOT a customer. I immediately p;urchased the cloud based Malwarebytes Nebula system and haven't looked back! Due to the amazing protection afforded by this product, I haven't even had to contact tech support for any assistance since migrating to this product.

Malwarebytes, you've earned a customer for life.

**What do you dislike about ThreatDown?**

I would say that Malwarebytes probably costs a bit more than some of their competitors products , but given the results, the lack of downtime, and the number of threats this products keeps out of my network and off of my back, any additional costs upfront is quickly paid back in the service the product delivers.

**What problems is ThreatDown solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The teachers I work with usually fall into one of two groups: those who either can't be bothered to open and read an email at all, or those who will open, click, and install whatever pops up. Protecting my network from the latter troop is why I depend on Malwarebytes. I trust Malwarebytes Nebula client my network machines has my back, and this frees me up to take care of other vital network and system functions.

**What do you like best about ThreatDown?**

Threatdown a.k.a Malwarebytes a.k.a Oneview?? is really working regarding preventive security.

**What do you dislike about ThreatDown?**

Why all these namings. Keep it simple and straightforward. There are quite enough brandings in the IT-industry.

**What problems is ThreatDown solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It seems to have a good awareness of all the security threats a normal SMB company will encounter.

**Official Response from Angela Kelleher:**

> Hi Mikael,

 ### 35. It works

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer & Network Security | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 24, 2024

**What do you like best about ThreatDown?**

It works in the Background. In all of the cases I have only had to use support once, although I have had two (major) warnings, the 1st user took the Hint and shut the PC down until I could get to it (remotely). Cleaned up in about 15 minutes. The Other USER continued on regardless - until Threatdown (Malwarebytes OneView then named) locked him out. A couple of days to clean that up with the help of support - it was a Zero Day attach, but they still had to get data to know suspiouse sites. My Users know know if they get a warning about a website not being koosher, they leave.

**What do you dislike about ThreatDown?**

Nothing really - pricing could be made to accomadate smaller sites.

**What problems is ThreatDown solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Handleing Maliciouse sites, downloads and the ability to shut a PC down (or Lock it) if it is attacked by Malware

**Official Response from Angela Kelleher:**

> Good day!
Thank you for sharing your positive experience with ThreatDown. We understand the importance of having reliable background protection and responsive support. We will definitely take your feedback on pricing into account as we strive to make our services accessible to all users.
Best regards.

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Pedro J. | Contable, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 25, 2024

**What do you like best about ThreatDown?**

You can configure the non-access to external USB devices and control that the information does not leave the company.

**What do you dislike about ThreatDown?**

It cannot be configured from the client. Do it from the central console.

**What problems is ThreatDown solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We didn't want our users to be able to take data via USB, and with threatdown we can configure it from the portal. It's perfect.

 ### 37. Robust and effective. We are in calm

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Marina R. | Director of Corporate Strategy, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 26, 2024

**What do you like best about ThreatDown?**

I have known malwarebytes for years and believe it has more than enough reputation to trust it with the security of our company

**What do you dislike about ThreatDown?**

Our IT manager makes us reboot often to apply security patches

**What problems is ThreatDown solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Very annoying antiviruses are too aggressive. This one doesn't seem to do anything, but we've never had malicious attacks

 ### 38. Dependable Endpoint Protection

 ### 40. ThreatDown is great!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Yvan P. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 24, 2024

**What do you like best about ThreatDown?**

The set of active modules allows for enhanced security of the workstation. Upon detection notification, I rarely have false positives, and if I do have alerts, they are quite easy to understand through the interface. The support is responsive and the MSP integration is very well done.

**What do you dislike about ThreatDown?**

My only drawback today concerns USB filtering, which should be more granular (targeting brands/models, assigning to one or more user groups).

**What problems is ThreatDown solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The EDR part was a turning point that ThreatDown managed well. Having already qualified a large part of the alerts (present in other tools)
Fewer false positives.
Quite powerful remediation.

**Official Response from Angela Kelleher:**

> Hi Yvan!
It's great to hear that our EDR capabilities have been beneficial for you, especially in reducing false positives and providing powerful remediation. We're committed to continuously improving our services to meet your needs.
Best regards.
