It a real time monitoring platform and is really easy to use. We used it to fetch the link status in our network. If there was any loss or error observed in our network, it helped us in notifying the same. It also helped us in figuring out the current status of the interface and the transit links. How digestible information is. It is very easy to pinpoint the root cause of an issue with application connectivity and/or performance. I think the team can do a better job with artificial intelligence and machine learning. The platform should be able to create baselines and set thresholds automatically for some tests. ThousandEyes allows us to take ownership and have visibility over environments that are not really managed by us, such as the internet and our cloud service provides. The only caveat is that sometimes alerts notifications do not clear as easily as you may want them to. Or there is no way to clear an alert by acknowledgement. The most useful thing we use ThousandEyes for is determining where the weak link is when a system is experiencing slowness whether that be online or within our own system. I think the only down side I found was it was somewhat difficult to set up meaningful alerts, it required us to set up equipment one at a time rather than being able to apply a rule that covered all objects.
