"Easy way to get answers from data"
4.5/5
What do you like best about ThoughtSpot?

I like the way our team gets the data we need without a data expert. ThoughtSpot’s search function makes it easy to just type in a question and get answers right away. No complex querys and no waiting. It saves us so much time.

Another thing I like is how easily it connects to different data sources. We set it up with our existing systems without any problems, and it updates in real time. So we always have the latest data.

The built-in AI is also a big plus. It helps find insights we might not have thought to look for

Their support team is also great. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about ThoughtSpot?

It takes a little getting used to. especially if you’re used to traditional BI tools like Tableau. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Very chaotic, hard to mantain"
0/5
What do you like best about ThoughtSpot?

The idea seems very good to be able to write natural language and het a query out of it. It does provide some nice dashboarding tools, like tabs with linked filters. It allows row level security. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about ThoughtSpot?

Things don't actually work properly. Any formula you try to build won't work (it's not even recognized by the tool even when you use the right syntax). We had to create all metrics in dbt to be able to calculate them properly in Thoughtspot. Natural language doesnt work well. Our users found it very non-intuitive Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Great support team that actually helps"
5/5
What do you like best about ThoughtSpot?

I really like how helpful the support team is. Anytime I run into a issue or have a question, they respond quick and actually give real answers instead of just copy pasting something from docs. They take the time to understand my problem and help fix it.

I also appreciate the training sessions and documentation they provide. It made it way easier for me to get comfortable using ThoughtSpot. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about ThoughtSpot?

Sometimes, more complex issues take longer to fix especially if they need engineering support. But the team is always responsive and keeps me updated, so it's not too bad. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
