It's a good product with a rich user interface and we can integrate with any system by using built-in TI APIs.

  ### 7. TI is a great partner who listen and respond to requests

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Joel T. | Director of Internal Tools and Data Engineering, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 19, 2021

**What do you like best about Thought Industries?**

The platform offers a robust content building and management interface. We don't need to purchase another tool to create our courses, we can do it all within TI.
Their panorama feature allows us great flexibility in siloing content and experiences for specific customers.
The team is very knowledgeable and friendly - we feel that they listen and respect our goals and help us achieve them.
We can quick responses to our general support tickets, and our reps are highly responsive.

**What do you dislike about Thought Industries?**

API needs to mature (esp. frontend API) - but hopefully improving in the coming quarter(s).
API rate limiting is exessive.
The developer experience isn't great. No deep theming options, Git integration for code/change management, deployments, etc.

**Recommendations to others considering Thought Industries:**

I believe TI offers the most flexibility in LMS vendors on the market. They're a great partner and highly recommended.

**What problems is Thought Industries solving and how is that benefiting you?**

TI allows us to deliver learning experiences for our customers at all levels. By growing understanding of our products, we believe we retain customers longer and spread the use of our products within their organization.

  ### 8. Community Learning at it best

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Theresa S. | Senior Vice President - Director of Strategic Alliances, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 19, 2021

**What do you like best about Thought Industries?**

This platform has replaced our old LMS and gives our clients an interactive, digital community learning experience. It allows for feedback for video and written submissions. We use this for both technical and practice management training.

**What do you dislike about Thought Industries?**

The lack of aggregation of reporting is frustrating. It is currently a manual process when you have multiple cohorts completing the same curriculum.

**Recommendations to others considering Thought Industries:**

If you are looking for a social learning platform, this is a viable, customizable option. Our clients have been amazed at the way we are able to implement training in practice management and technical topic areas.

**What problems is Thought Industries solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The ability to offer clients an on-line learning experience. It has given us the edge on our competitors. We are able to create multiple cohorts for courses so that they are able to interact with each other but still be managed by the coach for the entire class.

  ### 9. World Class site development platform backed by amazing and responsive Thought Industries team.

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Kirk S. | A, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 12, 2021

**What do you like best about Thought Industries?**

We are not professional web designers, site builders, or instructional designers but our partnership with Thought Industries has given us the insight, tools, support, and encouragement needed to launch and promote a dynamic, engaging, and customizable site.

**What do you dislike about Thought Industries?**

We have struggled with some 3rd party integrations and site documentation (helpful guides) could use some "beefing up".

**What problems is Thought Industries solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We are shifting a legacy business of training our customers on-site and/or in-person to a virtual environment and monetizing it through eCommerce integrations and the build out and design of self-service training courses and eLearning paths. In less than a year we have been able to re-capture several $100k in revenue which would have been lost otherwise due to Covid travel and in-person training restrictions. In addition, the ability to customize ADMIN roles on our Thought Industries site has allowed us to engage multiple internal business and product teams allowing them the ability to add/refresh site content on their schedule, not on a development team's schedule. This has lead to quicker content creation and allowed us to expand our customer invitations to our site to over 100k existing legacy accounts.

  ### 10. An LMS that natively supports your Company's Digital Transformation

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** David V. | Technical Training Manager - Dynamic Data Protection, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 11, 2021

**What do you like best about Thought Industries?**

Multiple page types for different learning modalities
Easy of use and support from TI
Stability and scalability

**What do you dislike about Thought Industries?**

Lack of API/xAPI capabilities with other technologies, and we don't see much out from TI in regards to this topic
Native gamification options when developing content natively in TI
Search capabilities are not at the level other modern-day LMSs offers.
Reporting, analytics, and telemetry data not at the level as other modern-day LMSs offers

**Recommendations to others considering Thought Industries:**

Get in touch with an expert in Thought Industries to ask all the questions you have regarding an LMS move. If you are going towards a Company's digital transformation, talk to your TI expert and explain where you want to go, so they can demo all the LMS capabilities and see if they align or not with your vision.

**What problems is Thought Industries solving and how is that benefiting you?**

An L&D organization's digital transformation. The ease of building content in various digital modalities serving diverse audiences, just in time.
The ability to wrap content around different learning plans, single-sourcing content, and creating programs for students that suits their needs.

  ### 11. Fantastic Customer Education Platform - Best there is!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Tom S. | Vice President, Customer Onboarding & Implementations, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 02, 2021

**What do you like best about Thought Industries?**

The UI/UX is very modern and easy for us and our customers. In addition, I like the in-app authoring tool, the SFDC integration, the panorama concept, and the badging abilities. Finally, the support we receive from TI is second to none. They are extremely responsive and ready to help whenever we need.

**What do you dislike about Thought Industries?**

We are currently running two instances of TI (one for ZoomInfo, and one for our DiscoverOrg product). It is expensive, especially with the panorama use-case.

**Recommendations to others considering Thought Industries:**

Do your due diligence and look at all the vendors in the space. If you do, match the apples to apples and you will see TI wins in the end. Be ready to spend though, as its usually more expensive than their competitors. Additionally, make sure you document your onboarding process and get that nailed out as a part of your contracting process.

**What problems is Thought Industries solving and how is that benefiting you?**

For us, we needed a platform that was specifically focused on delivering customer education in a variety of modals - VILT, on-demand, certifications, learning paths, etc. Previously, we had used an LMS that was more employee-based and it did not suit our needs. Additionally, we wanted to run reporting through SFDC since that is where our executive team lives and breathes. Finally, we wanted each of our customers to have their own "space" where we could host their recorded trainings, driving even more exposure to the university/LMS.

As we grew and scaled as an organization, TI was brought on and has lived up to all of their promises. It is a modern UI and is simple for our customers to use. It easily integrations with our platform through SSO and has a robust integration with Salesforce. Our educational activities for our customers have soared and a big part of that is attributed to us deciding to go with TI. Our original goals for our first year were smashed in less than 6 months and we saw a 149% growth YoY in courses completed by our customers from 2019 to 2020.

  ### 12. Very flexible and powerful LMS software!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Ramon M. | Innovation Analyst, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 19, 2021

**What do you like best about Thought Industries?**

I love the flexibility as far as ecommerce. We can sell to our customers. We can also partner with other organizations and sell their courses. And we can even sell physical products!

**What do you dislike about Thought Industries?**

It's a little hard to get going as far as learning but once you go through the training it's a piece of cake

**What problems is Thought Industries solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We needed an lms with quizzes and community discussion features and our wordpress solution was not adequate. Thought industries has helped us deliver online courses with preloaded content as well as live courses.

  ### 13. Adequate however lacks many standard LMS functions

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** David F. | Senior Learning Management Systems Administrator, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 19, 2020

**What do you like best about Thought Industries?**

Admin interface is easy to use, although some navigation inconsistencies. End user interface is also very clean.

**What do you dislike about Thought Industries?**

Very difficult integration with WebEx and Zoom. Reporting gives you the raw data, however end users (managers) don't have a way to report on their directs. Missing standard LMS features like waitlisting, allowing users to reschedule/cancel registration.

**Recommendations to others considering Thought Industries:**

If you need a public-facing LMS that focuses on ecommerce, then Ti is the one to look strongly at. However if you want a fully-featured LMS for internal users, this might not be the one for your company.

**What problems is Thought Industries solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Company needed an LMS to track employee and customer training and this LMS works. Benefits are we can now track compliance training fairly easily.

  ### 14. Great online learning partner

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Melissa K. | Vice President of Marketing Services, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 28, 2016

**What do you like best about Thought Industries?**

Thought industries has an exceptional product offering and a team to back it up. They are very knowledgable and helpful, with great customer service. Their platform is intuitive and they are great at adding new features.

**What do you dislike about Thought Industries?**

As always, budgetary constraints are key in todays world so of course, we would like to have a lower price point, but realize we get what we pay for. Overall, nothing that we dislike at this point.

**Recommendations to others considering Thought Industries:**

Thought Industries has a great product and team to back it up, I comfortably recommend their platform to industry peers.

**What problems is Thought Industries solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We use Thought Industries for both retail and audience education solutions. The Thought platform has a clear and concise way to disseminate the information in a learning environment to those groups.

  ### 15. Powerful LMS with exceptional features supporting learning design, development, and implementation

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jinn C. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 08, 2020

**What do you like best about Thought Industries?**

The Thought Industries LMS is extremely robust while offering flexibility for customizations. It incorporates a wide range of features and functions in learning design, learning engagement, content management, user and group management, e-commerce, and reporting. The platform also integrates with various third-party tools that support business operations, such as web conferencing platforms, data analytics, customer relationship management (CRM) services, and other business tools. The added value is in the flexibility it offers in design options, code solutions, and the use of middleware or webhooks to deploy custom integrations. For my team and I, the ability to leverage all the prebuilt features as well as develop custom solutions has significantly increased our competitive edge in producing high quality offerings and learning experiences.

The LMS is also beautifully designed. It has a clean, modern looking interface with good user experience design. Pages are responsive on different viewports and meet contemporaneous web accessibility standards. Our content editors, instructional designers, and learners have consistently provided us with positive feedback on what a delight it is to use the platform, from both the development and the usage perspectives.

**What do you dislike about Thought Industries?**

Due to the robustness of the LMS, there is a learning curve for content editors who are not highly proficient in technology. Site administrators have access to the knowledge center that is useful for developing a better understanding of how the platform works. Thought Industries also organizes weekly office hours and offers other support mechanisms that can be helpful. This platform is very powerful for those with a strong knowledge of web interfaces, learning management systems, and technology in general. For those who are not, it may take a while to get there, but there are a lot of support options available.

**What problems is Thought Industries solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We are able to build our whole continuing education operations around Thought Industries. In addition to developing the learning experiences, Thought Industries provides us with e-commerce tools to market our content. We are also able to integrate the institutional assessment system into the platform and automate many of our tasks such as automatic certificate generation and conferral upon course completion, delivery of exit surveys, and other tasks related to the implementation of an offering.

An important value is the seamless learning experience Thought Industries provides for our learners in China. Chinese learners in our offerings are able to access all content, including videos and documents, without any issue.

  ### 16. Great product, great team.

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Tony B. | Senior Director, IT, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 11, 2021

**What do you like best about Thought Industries?**

The product allowed us to get head start on virtualizing our Professional Learning efforts, ahead of the pandemic. The lead time for implementation was efficient, and the support through the process was solid.

**What do you dislike about Thought Industries?**

A couple of deep integration functions with our payment processor did not work as promised. However, the TI team has pitched in, top to bottom and are working to resolve the issues - great progress so far! As a long-time IT Director, I really appreciate it when a company culture brings "all hands on deck," to solve a problem. From our account team to the executives we've worked with, the TI team is capable, collaborative and concerned to meet our Members' needs.

**Recommendations to others considering Thought Industries:**

1. Trust that the product will bring top-notch LMS tools to your organization.
2. Be sure to have separate Content and Tech Admin staff available, to share the dual loads of running the system.
3. Be sure to describe any custom integration needs completely as you decide and implement the procuct.

**What problems is Thought Industries solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Our Professional Learning model has been very "hands-on," and in person for decades. We are in the Education field, so our methods have more or less mirrored our Members' model - direct instruction. TI has allowed us to bring online learning onboard, and to retain the high degree of engagement and personalization we are known for. Our Members have adopted the online offerings at a very high rate, and are providing very positive feedback. The multitude of content and delivery options will allow us to keep our efforts fresh for years to come.

  ### 17. Delightful design, easy to use and friendly support.

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Non-Profit Organization Management | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 08, 2021

**What do you like best about Thought Industries?**

I had little to no experience using a Learning Management System before, but TI's super helpful learning platform allowed me to quickly get up to speed. On top of that, any time I've come into a problem, I just shoot an email to support@ and I am quickly unstuck. Overall the platform is fairly intuitive and it is beautiful. Our customers are so impressed by our online courses.

**What do you dislike about Thought Industries?**

There have been a few buggy issues with reporting. I'm not sure if this is because we're a very unique use case or if it's a TI thing. But because the platform is so customizable, if we couldn't get a report one way, there was usually another way to pull the information.

**What problems is Thought Industries solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We are able to take our in-person courses and turn them into online learning experiences that are delightful for customers. Time and time again we hear "this is the best course we've ever taken!" I know a lot of that is because our content is thoughtfully designed, but TI really helped us to take our class from in-person to online almost seamlessly.

  ### 18. Great for content creation

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Information Technology and Services | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 19, 2021

**What do you like best about Thought Industries?**

If you want to avoid using SCORM for creating your courses, Thought Industries has some very sophisticated options available. Flip cards, hot spots, slideshows and more are all available within the UI.

**What do you dislike about Thought Industries?**

Their reporting features are very much a work in progress, but slowly improving. Configuring other aspects of the site (catalog, pages, webinars) can be a chore, and we've run into a number of bugs/limitations in the current version.

**What problems is Thought Industries solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We needed an LMS to organize/increase our training content and track usage. We have greatly increased viewership and have metrics available to measure the success of training efforts.

  ### 19. TI Admin for 2 years

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer Software | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 19, 2021

**What do you like best about Thought Industries?**

I like how customizable the platform is and how easy it is to create and share content.

**What do you dislike about Thought Industries?**

The reporting hub is filled with inaccurate data. I've come across many data points that I know are incorrect.

**Recommendations to others considering Thought Industries:**

Thought Industries is a great LMS, but if you want to customize it, you'll need someone who can do a lot of coding. The reporting feature is also not too accurate.

**What problems is Thought Industries solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Our customers love our Academy, and it's become a great selling point. It's also relieved a lot of stress for our support team.

  ### 20. Top LMS solutions

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Mitchell L. | Marketing Manager, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 20, 2021

**What do you like best about Thought Industries?**

Thought Industries' Learning management solutions are intuitive and user friendly.

**What do you dislike about Thought Industries?**

Nothing! Love the intuitive UI and all of the capabilities of the LMS tools

**What problems is Thought Industries solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We solve the ABA education space's need for learning management solutions. We've realized course completion and mass educational opportunities

  ### 21. Great Partnership!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Rik B. | Director, Distance Learning Institute, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 11, 2021

**What do you like best about Thought Industries?**

They are always quick to respond to questions and provide help as needed. They let us brainstorm with them to make the processes work best for us as well as think of the future growth issues we might be facing. They are all class act people to work with!

**What do you dislike about Thought Industries?**

The only issue we ever had was addressed immediately-

**What problems is Thought Industries solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We had been trying to figure out how to reach an international audience and offer programs/courses in multiple languages. After doing a worldwide review, and entertaining showcases from multiple vendors, this was the tool we settled on, and it was a great choice to meet our needs. Now we are expanding and reaching more international students and TI is growing with us providing support through this crazy fun process.

  ### 22. A Powerful Learning Platform

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jonathan P. | SVP-Product Development, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 28, 2021

**What do you like best about Thought Industries?**

My company can manage both internal and external training, for everything from Client Site locations, physical Training Center events, and eLearning courses. We've migrated our entire bookstore to TI and haven't looked back.

**What do you dislike about Thought Industries?**

We'd like to see more robust assessment pages designed to replicate a paper test experience, namely skipping questions to return later, test question sequencing, test question weights and others.

**What problems is Thought Industries solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Connecting all of our content and learning opportunities on one platform brings our customers back for more and helps them see all of our products in one place.

  ### 23. My TI LMS Review

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Information Services | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 19, 2021

**What do you like best about Thought Industries?**

I like the ability to author content and track learning progress. I also like the ability to manage users, assign courses to them, assign them different roles, and grant certifications/retakes.

**What do you dislike about Thought Industries?**

Some of the features are slightly unintuitive when trying to author content. The Panoramas are a little difficult to navigate between different screens and back and forth.

**What problems is Thought Industries solving and how is that benefiting you?**

A centralized LMS where we can author, create, and distribute learning with the ability to track progress. We have been able to make numerous different learning paths for different roles. We are able to standardize learning across some of our roles.

  ### 24. It's been fairly easy to use for me (after a slight learning curve of a couple of days).

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Graphic Design | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 03, 2021

**What do you like best about Thought Industries?**

I like how easy it is to pull reports on the learners, and export it.

**What do you dislike about Thought Industries?**

The various pages (panoramas, content, etc, registration pages) was slightly confusing for me to pick up at first, but it makes sense given the various capabilities of this system.

**What problems is Thought Industries solving and how is that benefiting you?**

One of the problems we were able to solve was having individual registrations for our events instead of coordinating with the client's main POC. So it reduced the amount of work for the client POC, and she was grateful that we were able to quickly push out the registration links to the individual attendees, instead of her having to do all the work.

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Consumer Services | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 19, 2021

**What do you like best about Thought Industries?**

It has robust reporting. That is helpful

**What do you dislike about Thought Industries?**

It is not very intuitive so it is hard to navigate internally

**Recommendations to others considering Thought Industries:**

Take a test drive first to make sure that it fits your needs.

**What problems is Thought Industries solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Online, on-demand learning options

  ### 26. Modern and dependable learning management system

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Gene M. | Director of Product, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 02, 2021

**What do you like best about Thought Industries?**

Our learners can see content in a variety of ways, interact with many page types, and track their progress easily.

**What do you dislike about Thought Industries?**

Reports have not been as insightful as hoped, but an upcoming release may change my view.

**What problems is Thought Industries solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Thought Industries software allows us to be flexible and experiment with different business models.

  ### 27. A great partner in providing customer training

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**What do you like best about Thought Industries?**

The Thought Industries platform is natively designed to provide customer training. Unlike other learning management systems that have adapted to provide client training, the TI platform is serving this need from the start. The interface is easy to navigate and administer. It provides a clean and simple experience for all users of the system.

**What do you dislike about Thought Industries?**

There have not been any downsides to using TI.

**What problems is Thought Industries solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We are able to serve many clients with similar needs all over the world with the use of the TI platform. Our best practices are being documented and shared with our customers.

  ### 28. Very positive experience so far

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Financial Services | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 03, 2021

**What do you like best about Thought Industries?**

I like the ability to author courses in program, the support, and the updates they continue to make to improve

**What do you dislike about Thought Industries?**

I dislike the limited functionality by panorama, and lack of training materials in the form of documents/manuals

**What problems is Thought Industries solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Problem solved: Offering programs to our clients we simply wouldn't be able to otherwise.
Benefits: Ability to create and edit programs on our terms, in ways we can't in other platforms we use

  ### 29. We love TI!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Michelle G. | Training Program Specialist, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 17, 2020

**What do you like best about Thought Industries?**

The platform is robust, yet user friendly. We love having the ability to brand, and run multiple sites seamlessly. While not needed often, the Support Team is top notch when they are needed!

**What do you dislike about Thought Industries?**

The reporting engine is robust, yet can be difficult to pin point the data you need. However, the upcoming enhancements to be released in 2021 sound very promising!

**What problems is Thought Industries solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We can now track our internal compliance training in one place. We are also building out various customer facing portals, each unique to that customers needs.

  ### 30. Capabilities for offering internal and external learning opportuntities

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Hospital & Health Care | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 11, 2021

**What do you like best about Thought Industries?**

I like the different features one can use to make educational content more engaging, especially micro-learning and video capabilities.

**What do you dislike about Thought Industries?**

The assigning of content to specific groups can be a bit tricky.

**What problems is Thought Industries solving and how is that benefiting you?**

TI has been the basis of a huge on-line learning initiative for offering COPE-accredited courses which are then monetized. The integrated e-commerce features, as well as the easy way to access content as an external user made TI the ideal platform for this initiative launched during the COVID shutdown.

  ### 31. Great for external content

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Hospital & Health Care | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 17, 2020

**What do you like best about Thought Industries?**

I really like how open TI is with their update process and their willingness to educate their clients.

**What do you dislike about Thought Industries?**

TI is really built for external content. If you are training internal employees it is certainly possible, but a little more difficult because that’s just not the focus of TI.

**Recommendations to others considering Thought Industries:**

Talk through your vision with the reps. They’re very helpful!

**What problems is Thought Industries solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We are able to create so much content so easily.

  ### 32. Easy to learn, somewhat difficult to get the most out of it.

**Rating:** 3.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Online Media | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 06, 2020

**What do you like best about Thought Industries?**

I like that the platform itself was fairly easy to learn when I started my job. I had to be able to jump into course building pretty quickly and clicking around TI helped me learn a lot quickly.

**What do you dislike about Thought Industries?**

The course building aspect has been pretty glitchy for me. I'll build a page, only to find out on final review that gifs or text have disappeared since I put them in. When I first started using TI, the building process could be frustrating, but since they updated the UI/UX with the side outline, it's been a difficult road.

**Recommendations to others considering Thought Industries:**

For simple, straightforward course building, this platform works. But I create 90-day fitness programs that require a lot of uploading, and usually end up having lots of glitches.

**What problems is Thought Industries solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We're trying to create courses for hobbyist and enthusiasts in a lot of different areas, and TI does make it possible to create a course that works for many learning styles and backgrounds.

  ### 33. Great Platform for Online Education!

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Veterinary | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 11, 2021

**What do you like best about Thought Industries?**

Great capabilities to create customized training!

**What do you dislike about Thought Industries?**

Sometimes it isn't customizable enough..

**What problems is Thought Industries solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Online Education ... great to have 1 portal for training

  ### 34. Great product that fits nicely with contemporary research

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Aaron M. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 09, 2020

**What do you like best about Thought Industries?**

There are tons of features, from the in house authoring tools to pathways to panorama that allow for lots of different applications and a variety of ways to engage learners. On top of that, it's incredibly easy to use.

**What do you dislike about Thought Industries?**

We need to scale up a bit before we can hit the minimums that are required to use the platform.

**Recommendations to others considering Thought Industries:**

Get in touch with them to determine if it's the right fit for you.

**What problems is Thought Industries solving and how is that benefiting you?**

An authoring and lms built into one that is easy to use and engaging for clients.

  ### 35. Thought Industries: a flexible and powerful LMS with responsive support team

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Joe C. | Learning Systems Manager, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 06, 2019

**What do you like best about Thought Industries?**

The best element of the Ti platform for our organization is the ability to configure the interface to match our brand look and feel through Custom CSS. A close second best is the quick response we're received throughout our initial design process. The Ti customer management and support team is top level in all aspects.

**What do you dislike about Thought Industries?**

Our organization has some very specific content use cases, and not all are not completely supported by the stock Ti platform. Ti offered us options to customize our LMS code to support our content needs, however the costs of customization took us way beyond our yearly LMS budget. Was disappointed not to have what, on the surface, should be very common html options missing from the stock platform.

**Recommendations to others considering Thought Industries:**

Make sure to fully identify the areas that Ti may not fully support in our initial assessment. There were a few specific use cases our organization would like to support that Ti could not and were missed on initial assessment. Ideally, we'd have set up a more complete set of testing content in the TI LMS to ID these few shortcomings and discuss with TI the costs required to customize our LMS before we entered into contract. However, though we have had to rework some content to "fit" in the TI system, the flexibility to configure the system through custom CSS has alleviated some of the challenges we faced dealing with the stock configuration.

**What problems is Thought Industries solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Our organization leverages Ti for content delivery only. The assessment and video page options allow us to design an interactive lesson program for customer preparation. Though we haven't taken advantage of all of the interactive question formats, we are actively investigating their use and hope they will bring additional options to our customers. The main benefit of the platform our us has been the ability to seamlessly integrate the Ti dashboard into our website through SSO and bring our customers a simple way to access their learning content.

  ### 36. Wonderful customer service, impeccable platform!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Anna C. K. | Content Manager, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 05, 2019

**What do you like best about Thought Industries?**

I love how user friendly and easy it is to use and create training.

**What do you dislike about Thought Industries?**

Sometime the page isn't big enough to view the whole pdf page so I wish it fit a little better on a normal size screen.

**Recommendations to others considering Thought Industries:**

This is definitely the platform worth using if you don't have a ton of people to create a platform for you. This is very user friendly and easy to set up.

**What problems is Thought Industries solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We are able to give interesting, interactive training to anyone anywhere and anytime. I love the system! It's perfect for internal use and external use and I love that you can track all the results.

  ### 37. Using the Thought Industry Learning Management System to Reach more Clients

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Health, Wellness and Fitness | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 06, 2019

**What do you like best about Thought Industries?**

We are a consulting company, and the TI system allows us to offer our educational courses to clients unable to travel, or in less populated areas where we don't regularly offer seminars. Being able to tell our clients that they can access our courses anywhere, anytime, has been very successful.

**What do you dislike about Thought Industries?**

TI has been updating the system regularly, but we are still not able to get everything out of the reports that we need. A more robust set of reports, or a report builder would make it much easier for us to analyze our sales and clients.

**What problems is Thought Industries solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Offsite education is another tool in our toolbox, and is a very effective way to obtain clients that previously were unable to travel, or wouldn't pay the travel costs for our consultants to travel to their locations. It is still early, but we have obtained some new clients who like this lower cost ooption.

  ### 38. A top-notch learning platform with all the bells and whistles!

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Clif B. | Online Education Producer, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 13, 2018

**What do you like best about Thought Industries?**

Thought Industries is constantly looking to improve their platform and their unparalleled customer service team replies promptly and professionally. I really like how many options there are for customizing the learning experience for the student/user, with each page type having its own unique look and interactive functions. The downloadable resources can be rolled up into the classes seamlessly and in a number of creative ways. The myriad options built-in to the platform allow you to package educational content in a fun but focused manner and really dial-in how you would like the student to digest the content. Plus, the fun quizzes help keep people honest! :-)

**What do you dislike about Thought Industries?**

Thought Industries makes changes to the look/style of the site or the platform features relatively often, which can be challenging to adjust to as a daily user of the program. The changes aren't always for the better (in my opinion), and this has at times left our customers (and content creators) missing a particular feature or wanting a slightly different experience. It's also a bit inconvenient that multiple admins can't be editing/building a course simultaneously without experiencing issues.

**Recommendations to others considering Thought Industries:**

It's great learning platform!

**What problems is Thought Industries solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Thought Industries provides a crucial platform for building out our online courses quickly and efficiently. I work for a company that produces a fairly high volume of online educational content and TI keeps the machine moving! Whenever we have experienced issues (technically, or otherwise), customer service has stepped up to get things squared away. The primary benefit of TI for our company is that it allows multiple users (producers, instructors, editors, etc.) access to the site for strong collaboration (essentially in real-time) amongst a team with individuals located across the country. We launched 40 new courses this past year... with even more planned for next year!! I'd call that a success!

  ### 39. Aesthetically Pleased

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Anthony W. | Professional Learning Coordinator, Higher Education, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 14, 2019

**What do you like best about Thought Industries?**

Thought Industries gives your content a polished look.

**What do you dislike about Thought Industries?**

Sometimes support and be slow to respond to an inquiry

**Recommendations to others considering Thought Industries:**

The grading function could be more rebust.

**What problems is Thought Industries solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We provide a credential to Nonprofit Professionals and aesthetically Thought Industries gives our content the expensive look that it deserves. Our old system just was no longer doing what we needed it to do. We wanted a platform that we allow us to migrate fast, Thought Industries did that for us.

  ### 40. Clean Platform that is Always Evolving

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in E-Learning | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 11, 2018

**What do you like best about Thought Industries?**

I like the possibilities. It seems like TI is always evolving. That is a good thing.

**What do you dislike about Thought Industries?**

As a primary user of Panorama, it seems updates happen without Panorama in mind. Also, many releases come with bugs that our team has to spend a lot of time troubleshooting.

**Recommendations to others considering Thought Industries:**

Work with TI to make the platform work for you. Things seem straightforward to set up but it may not be as straightforward as you think.

**What problems is Thought Industries solving and how is that benefiting you?**

-affordable professional development in higher education
-student success anytime, anywhere

  ### 41. Thought Industries streamlined our Organization's Learning Management

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Financial Services | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 11, 2018

**What do you like best about Thought Industries?**

User Interface is extremely cutting edge and easy to learn how to navigate / customize.

**What do you dislike about Thought Industries?**

Thought Industries has a few gaps in the interface as far as the slideshow capabilities go, for my organizations use case.

**What problems is Thought Industries solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Creating a great client experience is our mission, and we have realized that by creating a more sleek and user freinfly LMS, our clients are more satisfied with their learning experience.

  ### 42. TI Review

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Media Production | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**What do you like best about Thought Industries?**

It's a fairly easy platform to use both as a customer and administrator. Quick and reliable customer service response time.

**What do you dislike about Thought Industries?**

Updates to the platform can cause problems and glitches. Platform limitations. Limited ability to customize user experience.

**What problems is Thought Industries solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Bringing online learning to our customers has expanded our business model.

  ### 43. It was ok

Very Robust backend - lots of features and capabilities
Account Manager was great to work with

**What do you dislike about Thought Industries?**

User interface - not to industry standard
lack of customization
support - hard to reach

**Recommendations to others considering Thought Industries:**

think long and hard - due to the expense and considerable burden on customizations and learning curves to operate system
Once you know the backend it does get easier.

**What problems is Thought Industries solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We were building out a website on platform - that failed
backend LMS works but hard to use

  ### 44. Clean interface with a smooth workflow.

**Rating:** 3.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in E-Learning | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 11, 2018

**What do you like best about Thought Industries?**

I like best that Thought Industries is always working to improve their product.

**What do you dislike about Thought Industries?**

Some of the updates are pushed out with bugs and often change functionality without much prior notice.

**Recommendations to others considering Thought Industries:**

Make sure your users are willing to adapt to new updates.

**What problems is Thought Industries solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Thought Industries has helped solve issues with administering workshops for offsite instructors by providing assistance for them when needed and letting them do their thing when they don't.

  ### 45. Manager on Thought Industries

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Research | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 14, 2019

**What do you like best about Thought Industries?**

Being able to track progress of participants on platform

**What do you dislike about Thought Industries?**

A few glitches in completion of specific programs with assessments on the platform

**What problems is Thought Industries solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Ability to do coursework from a variety of locations, on your own terms

  ### 46. Perfect platform for a learning business

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Joshua N. | Manager Technical Marketing, Professional Training & Coaching, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 11, 2017

**What do you like best about Thought Industries?**

The thing that we love most about the Thought Industries platform is that it is specifically designed for businesses like ours that are focused on creating and selling learning products. We looked at a lot of different LMS suites but so many of them are focused on internal trainings.

**What do you dislike about Thought Industries?**

If there was one thing that we have provided constructive feedback on is the lack of an asset management system built into the platform. The product and feature updates they have come out with recently have been focused on bettering the learning experience for users, which is great, but there are some minor quirks in the our user experience for course authoring. The benefits to our end users and the overall product experience definitely outweighs any of these quirks.

**Recommendations to others considering Thought Industries:**

If you are in the market for a platform, not just a piece of software, for creating and selling courses, this is the one you want. There are plenty of website plugins and add-ons that will meet the LMS requirements but the additional features that build out the platform are key in creating a successful learning business. Also, the support, customer service, and entire team are great and a pleasure to work with. Working with TI is definitely an experience and relationship vs just a vendor - client connection.

**What problems is Thought Industries solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We were looking for an LMS that allowed us to produce and market products to customers both in a B2C and B2B manor. This was our primary requirement and Thought Industries is on the leading edge of this kind of platform.

the user-friendly and aesthetically pleasing ux design

**What do you dislike about Thought Industries?**

a few confusing and unpredictable changes between parent courses and children

**What problems is Thought Industries solving and how is that benefiting you?**

user friendly and member specific industry learning needs

  ### 48. Love the platform!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Abbie D. | Operations Coordinator, Non-Profit Organization Management, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 06, 2017

**What do you like best about Thought Industries?**

I love the Learning Business Platform™ so much that I brag about it all of the time. We use the reporting features to track purchase statistics and assess how many learners are completing the courses. Also, we love using the in-platform email features to engage/communicate with learners and encourage them to leave feedback.

**What do you dislike about Thought Industries?**

I wish I could more easily calculate conversion rates of users who do a free preview and go on to buy a class - it would help us identify if customers are more or less likely to purchase after taking time to preview a class.

**What problems is Thought Industries solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The Thought Industries’ platform helps us reach parents that live in rural or remote areas without Lamaze educators. There were a lot of women we weren’t serving. Plus, 12 hours in a classroom setting isn’t feasible for many learners — especially working or new parents.

The interactive features like filmcards and matching exercises create more exciting learning experiences for learning parents. They bring the material to life and help learners digest new ideas.

  ### 49. Changing the Learning Game

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Tina H. | Director, Business Development & Strategy helping drive business results of financial services firms, Professional Training & Coaching, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 26, 2017

**What do you like best about Thought Industries?**

Thought Industries moves us beyond a traditional LMS and to a new, engaging way to create and distribute content and create effective, engaging learning experiences. The platform design and user interface is crisp and clean, it can support most any type of content, enables the creation of engaging learner participation in courses, and the customer support team is always on point to assist with questions or issues. The product roadmap is full of great enhancements that focus on helping content providers capitalize on ecommerce functionality, deliver great content, and create engaging learning experiences for learners.

**What do you dislike about Thought Industries?**

Just like any other platform, there are some quirks within the system. Because it does offer many distinct and unique features together in one platform, there is a learning curve to understand how all the features work together in the system.

**What problems is Thought Industries solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Thought Industries takes us to the next level in creating innovative, engaging learning experiences for our clients.

  ### 50. I support health care partners utilize the online learning hosted on TI platform

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Emily K. S. | Dedicated Advisor, Talent Development Partnerships, Information Technology and Services, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 12, 2017

**What do you like best about Thought Industries?**

The user interface is intuitive and savvy. The interface is colorfully attractive and well organized. The process for creating accounts for users and logging them onto the platform and a creating a sublicense is quiet easy.

**What do you dislike about Thought Industries?**

I dislike that there is not currently a reporting function available on our site so I can report back to my main points of contact on utilization metrics. Currently I have 500+ individuals signed up for the online learning modules, but I cannot provide data, analysis or utilization trends to my clients. I also wish I could send a message through the platform to a large group of users .

**Recommendations to others considering Thought Industries:**

consider Thought Industries for a more user-friendly learning experience.

**What problems is Thought Industries solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I am trying to solve skill deficits in health care by providing both business skills, soft skills and other learning opportunities to healthcare leaders.
