## Thought Industries Reviews
 ### 1. A Customer Education Platform That Truly Puts Learners First

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Damaris L. | Senior Instructional Designer, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 29, 2025

**What do you like best about Thought Industries?**

What sets this LMS apart is the level of support and community engagement it fosters. The customer education team is phenomenal—responsive, thoughtful, and deeply invested in user success. I especially value the weekly office hours, community events, and open sessions that create an inclusive and dynamic learning ecosystem. The follow-up emails and guided assistance make sure nothing falls through the cracks. The “panoramas” concept is a standout feature that helps map the learning journey for different audiences in a meaningful, scalable way. I always feel seen, heard, and part of a real learning community. The impact of this support cannot be overstated—it’s empowering and consistent.

**What do you dislike about Thought Industries?**

There’s little to critique. If I had to mention something, I’d say I’d love to see continued enhancements in customization and analytics capabilities—but even these are evolving quickly. To fully unlock the platform's potential, you do need to invest time upfront in designing a thoughtful strategy for public, partner, and internal L&D implementation. A clear roadmap and internal alignment are key to making the most of everything the system has to offer.

**What problems is Thought Industries solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The platform enables us to create, organize, and share on-demand learning content with multiple audiences—internal teams, partners, and customers—in a streamlined and scalable way. It also allows us to track learning progress, report on outcomes, and export data to our BI tools, helping us directly measure the business impact of our learning programs.

 ### 2. Great platform for eLearning - especially with hands-on labs

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Simon F. | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 21, 2024

**What do you like best about Thought Industries?**

Thought Industries (Ti) provides a modern platform which is both a Learning Management System and an authoring tool for self-paced eLearning (and indeed instructor-led training too). The implementation was relatively straightforward and Ti had expertise on hand to help. This was mainly needed for some integrations with other tools like SSO.

There were three main capabilities we were looking for which Ti came out very strong on. 1) We needed a public facing shop-front for our training so that anonymous users could browse our training catalogue. 2) We needed the ability to integrate with a hands-on lab provider (Skytap) so learners had self-service access to our software products within the eLearning environment. 3) We needed to provide distinct learner experiences for three categories of learners (our employees, our partners, our customers). Ti has continued to deliver faultlessly on all three.

We also needed a platform which could be easily managed by a very small team and in which instructors could easily add and manage content with minimal training.

Finally, we needed a reliable platform along with access to responsive support for those rare times when needed.

We continue to receive great feedback from our learners, we are continually adding to our portfolio of training and the amount of time we spend on supporting learners is minimal (and the majority of issues we do get are related to user error or log-in challenges related to our SSO).

**What do you dislike about Thought Industries?**

If I had to choose a weak point, it would be the way instructor-led training is configured in Ti. Luckily, our volume of instructor-led events is low so not a huge challenge for us. We do run ILTs occasionally and it all works fine, it's just a bit cumbersome the way sessions are created and managed. I know other Ti customers do run high volume of ILTs so there must be ways to make this work which perhaps we did not explore fully due to our low requirements.

**What problems is Thought Industries solving and how is that benefiting you?**

1) We need to keep our sales and presales teams fully enabled on product lines which are evolving very fast.
2) We need to provide user training, including hands-on access to our software products, to customers as well as prospects wishing to evaluate our products.
3) We need to keep our partners up to date and enabled at three levels: sales, presales and technical services delivery. We also provide partner training around competencies which are linked to accreditations as part of our partner programme.

One of Ti's key strengths is its learning catalogue. By using custom tags, we can provide a shopping-like browsing experience as well as comprehensive search. We also use Learning Paths and custom pages to sign-post recommended learning to groups of learners.

 ### 3. Excellent Feature Rich Platform with all the Bells and Whistles

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Roxi N. | Digital Ecosystems Administrator & Project Manager , Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 26, 2022

**What do you like best about Thought Industries?**

The extraordinary amount of features and functions are a huge selling point, but the support hub is really the most useful (and used) feature for me personally as an administrator. Having so many training videos and courses to learn how to use the platform is by far the most incredible software support feature I have ever seen a company offer. There are typically at least several articles, videos, and/or courses on any given topic you could search for. You don't have to wait for support on common functions in most cases. Speaking of support, this is probably the other best feature of the Thought Industries platform. The support team goes above and beyond to help you find a solution regardless of how complicated your issue is.

**What do you dislike about Thought Industries?**

No sandbox out of the box. The lack of color/font options in wysiwig editors. The inability to use a categorized administrative catalog. Not having the ability to pull our own employee academy reports (I see why this isn't possible given the reporting options and it's not feasible to use a panorama for every single client, but it would be a "nice to have" option.

**Recommendations to others considering Thought Industries:**

Have. A. Plan. Don't launch too early. Listen to what Thought Industries tells you to do when onboarding. Take your time, make a content item of every single type, register as a user in all of it and thoroughly test every single thing with multiple people before adding all of your content. Don't assume you can deal with just the settings, or just the content, or just the design, of a bunch of titles and then add the other items later. Add it all from the beginning - it's a lot more work at the start but completely worth it at the end. Don't make assumptions and don't take shortcuts. Don't be afraid to come up with creative workarounds for special use cases. And if you're using SSO - have a developer.

**What problems is Thought Industries solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Many. Thought industries has been instrumental in our digital transformation and the ability to offer our customers a more user-friendly learning experience. Automation is HUGE. Many of our processes are outdated and manual, whereas, with TI, we can easily automate a large amount of our daily processes, like issuing certificates.

**Official Response from Mike Daecher:**

> Thank you for your review! We really appreciate such detailed feedback!

 ### 4. Excellent Support and Software

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer Software | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 20, 2024

**What do you like best about Thought Industries?**

Thought Industries is an excellent LMS! we have had a fantastic experience not only with the software but also with the Team at TI. Our CSM is supportive, professional and always willing to help us, sometimes with little time to spare!

Our most favourite feature is Panorama which has taken our customers to another level in their learning experiences.

We went through a fantastic implementation experience and this has set us up for success. The software is easy to use and provides a great platform for people who use us, like our team on a daily basis.

**What do you dislike about Thought Industries?**

My only thing that I would say is that I would like there to be some slightly better features around in person training.

**What problems is Thought Industries solving and how is that benefiting you?**

TI is providing solutions to support a global customer audience across many languages and security requirements.

 ### 5. Highly recommended Learning Management System for employees, customers and partners

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Vandana . | LMS Administrator, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 10, 2023

**What do you like best about Thought Industries?**

From the begnining, we had a seemless implemetation with TI and from day one its so easy to use.

I use TI on a daily basis, being a LMS Manager of my organisation, I have to login every day and make sure TI aligns with needs of the organisations.

TI provides a wide range of functionality and is best for internal as well external users, I particularly like Panorama. Using TI in our organisation we are able to provide our customer with their own mini learning page which gives them ability to see how the learnings being utilised and they feel more engaged with the platform.

I have worked on different LMS however have not seen this particular feature which is provided by Panorma.

The support team is very prompt and our Customer Success Manager is very responsive and has been very helpful in ensuring we get the resrouces we need from TI and our difficulties are resolved promptly.

**What do you dislike about Thought Industries?**

TI is amazing LMS compared to other LMS I worked on and it got lot of inbuild features, however I find the limitation to integrate the add-ons because of additional cost.

Sometimes the data in reports are not accurate and not reliable so that is one of my concern area with TI.

**What problems is Thought Industries solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Thought Industries helped us streamline our Training offerings, we now have all over content at one place and everyone - Employees, Customer, Partners can access training from their specified Panorama. This gives us abiliity to make customised content as per the needs of audience, it helped us organise our content and user base.

The learning offerings purchasing from the learning site directly is easy and user friendly. I like the Tag function which has made navigation so much easy and faster for the user. The ability to customize learner experiences by client with the help of Panorma has made the experience more meaningful for our users.

 ### 6. TI is a robust platform that allows you to easily create content and design and customize your site.

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Kathleen K. | Learning Experience Designer, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 26, 2022

**What do you like best about Thought Industries?**

I like how customizable the product is, you can add code to make it look and feel how you want. The mulitple content options are also nice, the addition of micro courses has been very helpful.

**What do you dislike about Thought Industries?**

Even though pages and widgets are customizable with code, it wasn't really built that way. For example, I'll use the 3 column widget to build out 3 cards/menu options with the code editor. I'll save it, come back later, and the code editor has added in random lines of code.

I've also found that some features are built in one area of the product, but aren't reflected to similar areas of the product. For example, if you add a link to a content widget, you'll be able to set that link to open in a new tab. However if you add links to your site (Design > Theme > Navigation Links) you can't set those to open on new tabs.

**Recommendations to others considering Thought Industries:**

I started using TI with very little knowledge of LMS platforms and it was extremely easy to adjust to; they offer great onboarding courses and learning materials to improve your LMS. It's very customizable to give your instance a distinct look according to your brand and the variety of content types TI offers is awesome!

**What problems is Thought Industries solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Thought Industries gives us a place to house our certificate content, it supports us with new user onboarding and reduces the time it takes for a new user to be independent in our product.

**Official Response from Mike Daecher:**

> Thank you Kathleen! We really appreciate the feedback!

 ### 7. A Powerful LMS Platform for B2B Customers

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Adrian D. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 08, 2023

**What do you like best about Thought Industries?**

TI provides a wide range of functionality for a high level LMS. Our customers range from mid-sized businesses to Fortune 500. Using TI, we're able to provide a robust, and easy to use learning experience for our customers. We repeatedlly hear customers say they like how clean our courses are. TI also provides advanced capabilities such as setting up exclusvie, branded campuses for our customers (Panoramas), multilingual support, SCORM support, ecommerce and multicurrency support, learning paths, integration with Salesforce, and a highly customizable user interface. The weekly, focused learning sessions have been extremely helpful in learning key functionality in bite-sized lessons. Also, our Customer Success Manager is very responsive and has been very helpful in ensuring we get the resrouces we need from TI.

**What do you dislike about Thought Industries?**

Expect a bit of a learning curve when adopting TI. While we did get thorough training up front, it was too much too soon and we felt a bit confused trying to implement some of the advanced functionality. Also, getting technical support for some issues has been slower than we would have liked.

**What problems is Thought Industries solving and how is that benefiting you?**

TI enables us to provide an advanced, robust and easy to use learning experience for our customers.

 ### 8. Great LMS partner!

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Joana S. | Associate Managing Consultant , Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 27, 2024

**What do you like best about Thought Industries?**

I enjoy this partnership quite a lot and the folks at TI have always been available and quick to reply to any questions or need of assistance.

**What do you dislike about Thought Industries?**

In the content creation perspective, it would be nice to have a bigger range of interactive native pages to choose from.

**What problems is Thought Industries solving and how is that benefiting you?**

TI has helped us establish a one-stop shop for learning, easily accessible to our clients, through multiple means of entry.

 ### 9. Strong customer education platform, with a few limitations

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Sara V. | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 11, 2023

**What do you like best about Thought Industries?**

- Learner (end-user) experience is great, it's easy to create an account and access learning
- Highly customizable so it is cohesive with the rest of your brand's website
-Great technical support (shout out to Nick who always records Looms to explain things to me)
- Great CSM team, Jon and team will work with you to identify your goals and hold you accountable to meeting them while optimizing your use of the system

**What do you dislike about Thought Industries?**

- Supporting a true multilingual experience is very difficult, with an inability to provide translations for certain areas of the platform
-The backend is extremely clunky especially when trying to navigate between panoramas and the main school and when customzing course detail pages, page layouts, and learning paths
- Limited options for building content with the native course builder if you want to include anything other than video and knowledge checks in your course

**What problems is Thought Industries solving and how is that benefiting you?**

TI is helping us deliver product training at scale to our customers. It has been particularly successful with helping us offer a self-serve experience when onboarding smaller organizations to our product.

 ### 10. An LMS that offers more features that the overage and easy to integrate.

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Yohiner C. | Learning Architect , Information Technology and Services, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 10, 2023

**What do you like best about Thought Industries?**

Thought Industries offers at the same time enterprise-grade features that are easy to use and customize. The customer support is incredibly responsive, and it is very easy to integrate the tools you already use, such as Teams, Zoom, Payment Gateways, and Credly.

**What do you dislike about Thought Industries?**

Surveys, Quizzes, and assessment pages need to be improved by adding additional configurations, such as mandatory questions or the ability to force learners to attach files in the case of assessment pages.

**What problems is Thought Industries solving and how is that benefiting you?**

TI is helping us to execute enablement programs for our partners and adoption training courses for our customers.

 ### 11. A feature-rich platform, for Digital Learning

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Craig S. | Senior Digital Learning Specialist, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 05, 2023

**What do you like best about Thought Industries?**

Thought Industries is somewhat user-friendly. Its interface ensures that you can get started without a steep learning curve, which is great for busy learning developers.

Thought Industries' customer support is both knowledgeable and responsive. It's reassuring to have a support team that's there when you encounter challenges and can respond quickly to your needs, understanding the impact on your own customers.

Thought Industries seamlessly integrates into daily workflows, making content development and delivery more efficient.

**What do you dislike about Thought Industries?**

One aspect that sometimes frustrates me is the platform's relatively slow pace in rolling out new features. In a fast-evolving digital learning landscape, quicker adaptability can be crucial. Thought Industries could improve by being more agile in this regard.

Another point of concern is the cost associated with some integrations. While the platform itself offers a robust set of features, additional integrations can come with a substantial price tag. This might deter smaller organizations with limited budgets.

**What problems is Thought Industries solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Thought Industries offers a rich set of features that effectively address the diverse needs of our customer education. It simplifies every aspect of our learning process, from content creation and delivery to management. Unlike some overly complex LMS platforms, Thought Industries prioritizes functionality over flashy gimmicks. This streamlined approach allowsus to focus on what truly matters: delivering meaningful and effective customer education.

 ### 12. Highly customizable

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Alexandra S. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 05, 2023

**What do you like best about Thought Industries?**

Thought Industries is highly customizable and offers many of the most useful elements of a learning management system in a user friendly way.

**What do you dislike about Thought Industries?**

Customization can also be complicated. Organizing on the back end is difficult. I'd like to see upgrades to how I can organize and view things like tags, communications, etc. I'd also like to see them develop a direct messaging system like Canvas has for their system. Grading assignments is not as easy as on LMS's like Canvas or Blackboard.

**What problems is Thought Industries solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Thought Industries is allowing us to have easily implemented courses to offer clients. The interactive pages also allow us to easily create variety in our offerings.

 ### 13. All in one learning space

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** madhumitha r. | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 11, 2023

**What do you like best about Thought Industries?**

Central Assests and Question library are totally Time saving for the Admin.
Having separate slots for Pre roll and post roll in a video is a very creative idea and reduces the work of video creators.

**What do you dislike about Thought Industries?**

Reporting System is confusing sometimes. There are lots of Data mismatches.

**What problems is Thought Industries solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Creating certificates in the earlier product is a repititive and time consuming work. But in Thought Industries having the Central Asset Library is of Big help.
Panaromas are really great interms of user and content Management. I personaly think as an admin the idea of tags is really great.

 ### 14. Thought Industries - Sets a high bar and the standard for LMS's in the industry!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Lynn O. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 07, 2023

**What do you like best about Thought Industries?**

Thought Industries is the most robust LMS you will find on the market. Their toolset and underlying architecture support the full range of applications, small to very complex, handling elegantly any use case you may require.

Their customer training and support sets the bar for the industry. After over 35 years in educational technology, I am not easily impressed. However, the Thought Industries team has considered every level of support needed and provides it with high quality and reliability. They continue to provide support throughout the duration of a subscription as well, not just at start-up.

If you are looking for a true LMS partner as you implement and grow your business, I'd suggest you look no further.

**What do you dislike about Thought Industries?**

The Thought Industries system is complex and supports a wide variety of use cases. As a result, it is critical that you have a dedicated staff member to set it up and ensure full utilization. We did not have a team in place to implement the system, yet were able to fully implement with Thought Industries staff's assistance.

**What problems is Thought Industries solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Thought Industries solved our need to provide a comprehensive solution for delivering curriculum and professional learning to a wide school and non-profit audience. The system had to support engaging, interactive and personalized learning.

 ### 15. Thought Industries LMS

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer Software | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 10, 2023

**What do you like best about Thought Industries?**

The Panorama feature has been my favorite so far. The ability to create varying environments either for internal audiences or specific customers has been really great. It's also been great to have an in-app authoring tool baked into the platform so that we don't have to import course content.

**What do you dislike about Thought Industries?**

The catalog functionality and reporting features have been the biggest painpoints so far. They're both great features but lack simplicity to use.

**What problems is Thought Industries solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Thought Industries allows us to create a rich learning environment for our customer base as well as our various internal teams.

 ### 16. A friendly but professional online digital platform that turns your ideas in reality

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Catalin N. | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 06, 2023

**What do you like best about Thought Industries?**

From the development perspective, I like the option to choose different predefined types of pages and how to combine them. Also, monitoring and reporting are essential, and Thought Industries provides this as an integrated service.

**What do you dislike about Thought Industries?**

As a content developer, the primary colors (RYB) must be available by default and not as an option. There are many other ways to cover/integrate such an income from other options. Also, the graphic capabilities should be improved for technical customers. The actual graphic import options are very limited.

**What problems is Thought Industries solving and how is that benefiting you?**

As an electronics engineer, I know that in our field, there is a lot of detail and information that needs to be learned but, most importantly, regularly reviewed. The Thought Industries online platform allows regular self-training, certification with different complexity stages for our field engineers, and access to technical information anywhere and anytime.

 ### 17. Ti has been great!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Manufacturing | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 06, 2023

**What do you like best about Thought Industries?**

Reliablity, quick support, ease of use making and admining courses.

**What do you dislike about Thought Industries?**

Compared to our last platform, I am not sure there are any downsides other than cost.

**What problems is Thought Industries solving and how is that benefiting you?**

TI is solving the problem of hosting self-paced training courses for our products. We need a low friction way to educate our customers on how our product is best used, and TI meets that need.

 ### 18. Thought Industry Review

**Rating:** 2.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Gideon H. | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 06, 2023

**What do you like best about Thought Industries?**

Creating the content page and being able to customize what we can do is great.

**What do you dislike about Thought Industries?**

The reports that are provided are not accurate.

**What problems is Thought Industries solving and how is that benefiting you?**

TI is creating a space where we can keep our recordings and other contents into the same page. Also be able to create new contents we haven't explored yet.

 ### 19. Wonderful!

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Alexandra v. | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 06, 2023

**What do you like best about Thought Industries?**

I find the customer experience wonderful. Their account managers and support team are always quick to answer, friendly, and helpful. They also are great at helping us problem solve.

**What do you dislike about Thought Industries?**

I wish we had more capabilities to change the HTML on the automated emails.
Otherwise, our issues are more with our learner's capabilities than Thought Industries' products.

**What problems is Thought Industries solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We are able to streamline our training materials in one place. Facilitators find it easy to use, and also enjoy the vast capabilities the widgets have for creating or editing content.
We can customize learner experiences by client, which can make the experience more meaningful for our users.

 ### 20. Overall, extremely positive

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Meg B. | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 06, 2023

**What do you like best about Thought Industries?**

Content creation using page options, very secure multi-tenant platform, simple yet secure SSO integrations, highly intuitive platform, and a gorgeous client-facing interface.

**What do you dislike about Thought Industries?**

We have a lot of content. We use content tags to organize and display our content. However, it is impossible to report on tags. i.e. I want to see all content with 'special tag' and then download that content list.

**What problems is Thought Industries solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Thought Industries allows us to present our clients with an interactive and visually appealing tenant site (a panorama) that can be swiftly and easily branded/theme'd for the client.

 ### 21. Everything learning in a single portal.

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Charles Z. | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 04, 2023

**What do you like best about Thought Industries?**

We can design education, deliver experiences, and measure outcomes in a single portal. We can integrate previous and future SCORM/xAPI; all reporting is done here.

**What do you dislike about Thought Industries?**

Every LMS/LXP will fall short of your return on expectations because of your specific needs, but I implore you to begin looking at what you can Optimize here.

**What problems is Thought Industries solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Thought Industries has always listened, considered, and responded to our enhancement requests. I feel heard and love to see "my ideas" implemented.

 ### 22. Easy to use online courses

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Silvia P. | Marketing Manager, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 06, 2022

**What do you like best about Thought Industries?**

Once the setup is done according to your needs, Thought Industries is pretty simple to use for everyone.
You get pre-built courses setup, analytics and easy-to-use widgets to complete your offer.
Via zapier, it connects with any other software we use.

**What do you dislike about Thought Industries?**

It can be a closed environment sometimes, and you must find creative solutions to adapt to existing external systems. The TI team is always there to support.

**What problems is Thought Industries solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We were looking for an all-in-one solution for our various B2C online courses / services. As a diverse business, this is not easy to find. This helped the business to centralise the offer.

 ### 23. Good cliente user experience, not so good as developer

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Sebastián Andres M. | Web UI Developer, SSr Adv., Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 18, 2023

**What do you like best about Thought Industries?**

The experience as a normal user is really good, the platform has a lot of stuff, the experience is great, but as a developer there's stuff missing.

**What do you dislike about Thought Industries?**

Not so many options as a developer, the tracking scripts don't have much functionalities and I was expecting callbacks for stuff I wanted to do.

**What problems is Thought Industries solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Thought Industries is solving problems for Crucial Learning. Almost everything crucial does for courses resides in TI

 ### 24. Solid + Intuitive

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Zack P. | President & CEO, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 25, 2022

**What do you like best about Thought Industries?**

Robust set of LMS features that satisfy the majority of customer user. Learning Paths and Content Authoring are world-class tools.

**What do you dislike about Thought Industries?**

Still lacks a few bells/whistles required for customer admins to have same UX and permission sets as they would have using an enterprise LMS solution. Panorama Admins should have all permissions necessary in their panorama and no dual-login for different permissions.

**What problems is Thought Industries solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Customer training, transcripts, content library and more. Integrating to field dispatching system. Internal employee learning and development, as well as complaince training.

**Official Response from Mike Daecher:**

> Thanks for taking the time for your review! We really appreciate it!

 ### 25. This platform is excellent for mid-size business.

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Hospital & Health Care | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 07, 2023

**What do you like best about Thought Industries?**

The customer support and ongoing education about how to use the platform is great. Most of our questions are answered within the TI Academy. The partnership with CSM and their willingness to support is great!

**What do you dislike about Thought Industries?**

There are many enhancements going on frequently, the platform is getting better everytime. Yet, the flexibility to use the platform in terms of page design or content development is still missing. Very limited options (like widgets) for creative designers.

**What problems is Thought Industries solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Educating the staff for internal required training, awareness courses, ongoing professional development of staff etc.

 ### 26. Finally a Learning Management System Platform with WorldClass Support!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Denise J. | Senior Instructional Design Consultant, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 19, 2022

**What do you like best about Thought Industries?**

Thought Industries is very intuitive to use with many native course authoring features, but best of all is their first-class support team always ready to assist.

**What do you dislike about Thought Industries?**

I do wish there were a few more options with the course authoriting tools natively available. What is offered is good, but wish there were more options like multiple matching or step ordering options for quizzes.

**What problems is Thought Industries solving and how is that benefiting you?**

TI is helping us offer personalized client education experiences to help us help our clients. This is helping us by solidifying relationships with clients and keeping them long term.

 ### 27. Great platform and even better customer support!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Management Consulting | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 03, 2019

**What do you like best about Thought Industries?**

Thought Industries allows us to effectively deploy educational materials in a modern and creative way for learners. They offer so many pages to choose from to help implement our educational materials in a way that leaners have loved so far! I cannot say enough about how great their client support analysts have been. If ever we have a question about the platform, whether that be a custom function or design question, Ti is extremely quick to respond and usually with multiple solutions and visual instructions that help solve the initial request.

**What do you dislike about Thought Industries?**

Sometimes our clients are requesting functions on the site that are not doable on Ti, but Ti encourages us to submit the request to their "voice of the customer program' where they are reviewing development requests. They usually keep us updated on the status of those requests which is nice to know.

**Recommendations to others considering Thought Industries:**

Highly recommend working with their wonderful team! So supportive.

**What problems is Thought Industries solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We have solved so much together! The Ti platform has given us the opportunity to cascade our learning materials beyond live sessions so individuals can deepen their education on important topics that help shift the culture in their industry for the better.

 ### 28. Have been recommending this platform for all of my L&D friends and former colleagues!

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Retail | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 24, 2022

**What do you like best about Thought Industries?**

The extent to which you can customize Thought Industries is great! It can be daunting in the beginning, but once you get your feet wet the possibilities of what you can do and how you design it are endless.

**What do you dislike about Thought Industries?**

If I have to choose something I dislike, it would be that since there are so many ways you can customize your site, there's also the opportunity to 'over customize' and cause quirks in your site that wouldn't otherwise be seen, and are difficult to troubleshoot.

**What problems is Thought Industries solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Being able to easily customize what content each group needs is allowing us to reach more people at a faster rate, and allowing us to think more 'globally' in our planning and content reach.

 ### 29. Could not have imagined a better partner in educating our customers

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Cary S. | Director of Training and Guest Services, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 15, 2021

**What do you like best about Thought Industries?**

I will begin with the platform itself. Intuitive, continually evolving , and powerful enough to deliver important information to everyone from Prospects, customers, and employees. Beyond the platform, or should I say behind it, is a team of people that truly want nothing more than for my program to be successful. It is also very impressive how Thought Industries listens to their customers and commits to investing in improving resources.

**What do you dislike about Thought Industries?**

There is a bit of a learning curve with all the tools available, but between Office Hours and the new customer trainings, it is easy to become an expert.

**What problems is Thought Industries solving and how is that benefiting you?**

With a well thought out plan, Thought Industries has allowed us to deliver the education and communications to the people that need it most. We are able to deliver important technical training to users on the front line while also empowering champions and program sponsors with thought leadership.

**Official Response from Alex Forbes:**

> Hi Cary! Thank you so much for taking the time to share your thoughts about our platform and team here as well. We all greatly appreciate it and your partnership with us!

 ### 30. Robust LMS with Room to Grow

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Cat Z. | B Corp and Sustainability Consultant, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 27, 2022

**What do you like best about Thought Industries?**

Thought Industries has an incredible team of salespeople, support, and ongoing project management assistance. I feel like Thought Industries is committed to and truly cares about the success of my business, which is priceless!

**What do you dislike about Thought Industries?**

The biggest issues I have come across lie in the difficulties in managing several of my own clients' online learning programs simultaneously. Panorama is a neat idea that I believe would be far better utilized if you could monetize each Panorama with separate Stripe accounts, and if you could direct learners to content items that are linked to a specific Panorama (i.e. a learner gets an email for a webinar, clicks the link, then can either sign up for the Panorama that the content item is assigned to or sign in to their existing account).

**What problems is Thought Industries solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Thought Industries is solving the problem of how to offer on-demand self-paced learning simultaneously to all of our different clients - and their many learners. Another problem that I experienced with other LMS providers was the problem of how to gracefully make edits to content (TI makes edits super easy). This benefits my business by opening more time for my team to spend on more lucrative and meaningful tasks.

 ### 31. User friendly platform - Create content and design easily

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Alal U. | L, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 27, 2022

**What do you like best about Thought Industries?**

A really easy to use platform. Course authoring is easy and there is an ample amount of page types to choose from. From an end-user perspective, the look and feel is great. Also works seamlessly with many external add-ons such as Rogo, Eduflow, etc.

**What do you dislike about Thought Industries?**

I think there are many small things that Thought Industries need to fix or find solutions for. For example, you are not able to mix and match two different types of learning on one page unless you use HTML. I could be designing a course where a page includes flip cards and hot spots. In Thought Industries, I would need to create two different pages. Having said that I have found that they listen to feedback and are constantly making upgrades to the platform to fix issues that we users raise.

**Recommendations to others considering Thought Industries:**

It is very user friendly but slightly different to other LMSs. If this is your first LMS it will work a treat as you will not have major expectations. If you are moving from another LMS then ensure that Thought Industries will cater for all the functionalities that are an absolute must for you.

**What problems is Thought Industries solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Having worked with different LMS platforms I have found THought Industries to be very user friendly. It is easier on the eye and is very simplistic in terms of user experience. the design just makes it feel like you are using a word processing package rather than a complicated LMS.

**Official Response from Mike Daecher:**

> Thank you for your review!

 ### 32. Constantly evolving platform

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Dee C. | Platform Administrator, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 27, 2022

**What do you like best about Thought Industries?**

It's great that there are a plethora of resources available - particularly in the Academy and Knowledge Center. It's good to have the custom role feature available to give more flexibility to admins.

**What do you dislike about Thought Industries?**

lt would be incredibly useful to increase visibility on the status of feedback after submitting to TI as well as visibility on other feedback requests (both internal and wider TI community). The ability to upvote would help make providing feedback a lot easier. It would be good to see more work on accessibility. It's a shame that custom role admins and anyone that's not a full admin cannot use the feedback feature, despite them using TI.

**Recommendations to others considering Thought Industries:**

Have a clear view or goal of what you are trying to achieve or what problem you're trying to solve as this will help inform how you want to have your infrastructure.

**What problems is Thought Industries solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Thought Industries platform provides a clean interface for learners to interact. In addition, the Help centre and article feature is a handy way of helping assist and empower learners.

 ### 33. A Learning Management System for many use cases

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Heather M. | Director of Learning and Organizational Development, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 26, 2022

**What do you like best about Thought Industries?**

We really love the panoramas in the LMS. We use them for all of our customers and find them to be tremendously helpful in building our business in the LMS. We found these portals to be above and beyond what we could find compared to competitors in the fact that the customers can build their own content as well.

**What do you dislike about Thought Industries?**

The limited video capabilities (cannot prevent individuals from fast-forwarding the video) and little attention that is given to panoramas has been the most difficult aspect of Thought Industries for us. In addition, the lack of direct course assignments with due dates has made things complicated, this is something that is automatically expected in a LMS, so not having it there causes us issues.

**Recommendations to others considering Thought Industries:**

Make sure to truly evaluate exactly what it is that you need out of a system and ensure that TI can check those boxes for your organization.

**What problems is Thought Industries solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Thought Industries has given us a platform to better train our organizations on utilizing our software- we have started using it for implementation purposes over the last year.

**Official Response from Mike Daecher:**

> Thank you for this! Very helpful to hear all of this to help us improve our product.

 ### 34. For every step we take forward, it seems we have to take one step back

**Rating:** 2.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Casey G. | Director, Education Delivery, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 25, 2022

**What do you like best about Thought Industries?**

The ability to webhook to our other platforms was not difficult to set up for our integrations person. We can also show our third-party exam in a learning path by doing an iFrame in ThoughtIndustries HTML content type which makes things pretty flexible when the other features draw short of what we need.

**What do you dislike about Thought Industries?**

As someone primarily focused on the live training side of the house, the assignments and grading are fairly limited. They all come into one big catch-all bucket and you have to sort through them to get to your class. With our scale, this becomes hard to manage very quickly.

The native exam tool is very limited on question types and options so we had to use a third-party for that.

**What problems is Thought Industries solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We need a way to host our global education content, both e-learning and instructor led courses, and we have been able to successfully do that on Thought Industries. As we scale our business, we have been able to turn on additional features like Panoramas (essentially like different views or sub-systems), paywalls, and the splash page.

 ### 35. Overall, satisfied with Thought Industries and the team but not without some hiccups.

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Emily N. | Director, Corporate and Partner Education, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 25, 2022

**What do you like best about Thought Industries?**

The native course authoring tools in the platform are helpful for a small team. Additionally, the concept of "Panoramas" makes it easy to use Thought Industries for varying content needs. Everyone we have worked with at Thought Industries has been supportive and responsive which is appreciated.

**What do you dislike about Thought Industries?**

There is no ability to track learners who have not completed assigned content which is incredibly painful. Additionally, we have lost hours of work due to finicky saving capabilities. We've been told these are on the roadmap to improve but have yet to see progress.

**What problems is Thought Industries solving and how is that benefiting you?**

As noted above, we use Thought Industries for customer-facing content, internal content, and partner content. This helps our team seamlessly update content across audiences in one place, saving us time and effort. We've been able to upload content from other content sources as well which has helped us create a unified learning hub for our customers, teammates, and partners.

**Official Response from Mike Daecher:**

> Thank you for your feedback Emily! Please be sure you're communicating with your CSM so you can take advantage of our monthly product releases!

 ### 36. Great Platform for B2B!

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Christina L. | VP of Operations & Information Systems, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 25, 2022

**What do you like best about Thought Industries?**

One of my favorite things about Thought Industries is how they continually update the platform and listen to customer feedback. Having used LMS platforms in the past that felt like they were built in the 90's and never updated again, Thought Industries really strives to maintain continuous improvement.

**What do you dislike about Thought Industries?**

There are some limitations around assessments and user permissions that I would like to see enhanced. Weighted questions, and the ability to go back and review answers before submission are just a couple of things that I think would enhance the platform. I would like there to be more functionality for Panorama Admins - being able to self-serve in the setup of manager profiles for their Panorama or to bulk assign content would be a huge win.

**Recommendations to others considering Thought Industries:**

If you are looking for a way to monetize your training (online, in-person, etc.) and want an opportunity to create real stickiness with your customer base - Thought Industries is an excellent choice. Their authoring tool is simple to use and can very quickly provide ROI. This is not an HRIS, so if that is your main need, this is probably not the platform for you.

**What problems is Thought Industries solving and how is that benefiting you?**

With Thought Industries Panorama feature, we are helping our customers set up custom-branded experiences for their employees, enabling our customers to develop their own training built right on the Thought Industries platform and take advantage of all of the training we developed. Utilizing learning paths, we assist our customers in setting road maps for their employees to gain qualifications and grow internally while providing a clear visual for all parties of what is required. Since using Thought Industries, we have seen a 500% increase in subscriptions from customers and continue to grow.

We now have our entire student transcript in one location and have consolidated the buying experience to one platform. Before Thought Industries, our student data was siloed in separate systems depending on the delivery method. Our students are now also able to retrieve their transcript, certificates and qualification cards any time they need for the first time!

**Official Response from Mike Daecher:**

> Thank you for this Christina! We really appreciate you taking the time!

 ### 37. Thoughts Industries is an exciting platform that gives us Front End Devs the power back!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Andre E. | Lead Learning Technologist, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 25, 2022

**What do you like best about Thought Industries?**

I loved that I was able to code into the platform and create interactives with relative ease. Most other LMS Platforms require me to get quite hacky to get things to work.

**What do you dislike about Thought Industries?**

One thing though that could use some work I would say is the screen real estate of the UI. If it could be made more minimalistic, especially the top of the page, that would be perfect.

**Recommendations to others considering Thought Industries:**

I would say go for it. Amazing platform, great support, very few bugs and even if there are any, they get fixed very quickly.

**What problems is Thought Industries solving and how is that benefiting you?**

A major problem that Thoughts Industries solved with us was the price range. I was told that other LMS' were quite a bit more expensive. Thoughts industries not only shocked me with its platform capabilities but also its user-friendly approach. Took me only 30 minutes to onboard to it. Took me even less time to fall in love with the platform. One of the best platforms I have worked on in my 9 years of working within the industry.

**Official Response from Mike Daecher:**

> Thanks for your feedback! Go Front End Devs!! :-)

 ### 38. Best Platform Built for Businesses

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Sherilyn J. | Manager of Design and Delivery, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 25, 2022

**What do you like best about Thought Industries?**

Course creation is very easy. There are a lot of features and integrations. The ability to have panoramas and sublicenses is perfect for separating content and customizing for our clients.

**What do you dislike about Thought Industries?**

We experienced some growing pains in the onboarding and account management side - I know they are working hard to fix this. Thought Industries has grown substantially in the last few years.

**Recommendations to others considering Thought Industries:**

This is by far the best platform for customer learning and you don't need to know a lot about web design to make it an easy user experience.

**What problems is Thought Industries solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It is so easy to create courses within Thought Industries so we are saving money by not having to create content in other platforms like Adobe and then upload the SCORM, although you can do that. We have been able to create two successful programs with mostly asynchronous content that is very easy for our learners to navigate.

**Official Response from Mike Daecher:**

> Thanks for your review! We have been growing very quickly, which is a good problem to have. We've invested quite a bit in our internal Services team, which we consider a real differentiator to help our customers get value out of our platform fast.

 ### 39. Gets the job done but could use improvement

**Rating:** 2.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Allan K. | Senior Producer/Technical Project Manager, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 26, 2022

**What do you like best about Thought Industries?**

Thought Industries covers the basics of what you'd need to run an LMS. It integrates well with certain apps and gets the job done.

**What do you dislike about Thought Industries?**

There's an apparent pretty severe lack of intent in the design... the navigation and UI just don't make sense in many cases and the logic in setting up and managing content flow & users is quite backwards... many things could be simplified and there's lots of room for improvement.

**Recommendations to others considering Thought Industries:**

If you plan to outgrow the basics of an LMS in the near future, Thought Industries may not be the best first choice. They have added features on a consistent basis, but there is still a lot that could be added and the system isn't the most straightforward/sensical to navigate/admin.

**What problems is Thought Industries solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We have a functional LMS! We can deliver content to clients and manage that content as we see fit.

**Official Response from Mike Daecher:**

> Thanks for your feedback Allan! Thought Industries is 100% focused on growth and scalability, so I'd encourage you to share this with your CSM (if you haven't already.) We want to earn the right to be your long term partner.

 ### 40. Very Customer-Centric service

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Information Technology and Services | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 24, 2022

**What do you like best about Thought Industries?**

The team is very responsive. If we reach out to support or ask for help of any kind, we hear back quickly and reach a resolution if needed.

**What do you dislike about Thought Industries?**

There are a couple of features that don't exist in the platform that would be helpful. However, we have a unique use case, and they are always willing to hear what features would be helpful to us.

**What problems is Thought Industries solving and how is that benefiting you?**

They're solving for getting learning content to folks when they need it, and in whatever way is best for the customer to consume. We've already been able to increase our number of trained users by moving to the TI platform.

 ### 41. A Great Partner

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Peter G. | Patroller, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 25, 2022

**What do you like best about Thought Industries?**

Thought industries not only met our LMS requirements and addressed our primary use cases, they've proven to be a great partner working to drive our success.

**What do you dislike about Thought Industries?**

No LMS can be all things to all customers. However, Thought Industries' roadmap demonstrates how they value customer feedback to design features we need.

**What problems is Thought Industries solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Our vision is to deliver support and training at the moment. Thought industries emerging features support that.

 ### 42. Great tool to create Engaging learning experiences

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Alberto C. | Training Specialist, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 25, 2022

**What do you like best about Thought Industries?**

I like how the platform is user-friendly, from also the backend, it makes the creation of training very smooth and easy. But at the same time you are able to creat a really nice experience for the learners due to all the possible customization functionalities.

**What do you dislike about Thought Industries?**

I asked already the TI assistance team, to please integrate some sort of chat option, where learners can chat in real-time, it will be an incredible add-on. To make people even more connected and involved.

**Recommendations to others considering Thought Industries:**

It's a really nice tool, it will make it easier to deal with your daily tasks connected to learning management.

**What problems is Thought Industries solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Trainings are created faster and with less stress on internal resources. We were able to enable many learners in just 6 months thanks to TI. Another positive thing is the process improvement assets, we avoid a lot of repetitive manual work.

**Official Response from Mike Daecher:**

> Thank you Alberto! I've passed your feedback on to our Support team, as I know they're already thinking about a chat solution.

 ### 43. Great customer support...but NOT the tool for internal training

**Rating:** 1.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Information Technology and Services | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 05, 2022

**What do you like best about Thought Industries?**

This LMS is designed very well for anyone who needs to train or educate extended teams, such as partners, resellers, dealers and more...and this can be done a la carte or by susbscription, with plenty of variety when it comes to monetizing and releasing the content you want to share. If you don't need to create courses because you're using another tool and you have a huge need to focus on engaging 3rd party teams, TI might be a great fit.

**What do you dislike about Thought Industries?**

Creating online training with ThoughtIndustries made me depressed.

It's very clunky, there is no auto-save (you literally have to save after making ANY changes), and is NOT friendly with SCORM files if you want to import your own SCORM files. I had to contact customer support several times to get the SCORM files we needed to work and, while we received quick response from their team (summer of 2022), they had to move our ticket to their development team...which, again, is importing SCORM files in to an LMS system. I will die on this hill that the most primary function of an LMS system is that they can host SCORM files, and it took almost two months of working with their customer success and development team to get this done. It's worth mentioning that, after they think they delivered a solution, they asked me to test it. This happened 3 times, and it means that I spent at least one entire work week doing QA testing for them instead of doing my job, because TI is not SCORM file friendly.

I insisted we bring our own training via SCORM for another tool because, while TI can technically create courses, the experience is so miserable that I'd sooner rather choose to create and deliver an onboarding program via the web-based version of Microsoft PPT. In a word, it's clunky. And at their price points, you'd expect it to be comparable in both the number of features and ease-of-use as Docebo, Captivate, or Articulate. If you're an LMS admin or an instructional designer who are looking to build and manage content in TI, I couldn't recommend this.

**What problems is Thought Industries solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I have heard from many users that TI works great for releasing content en-masse to selected audiences.

 ### 44. Finding Features and Functionality under the Hood

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Heidi S. | Chief Learning Officer, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 25, 2022

**What do you like best about Thought Industries?**

We are in the implementation phase (nearing the end) of getting up and running with Thought Industries. Their training and onboarding has been solid and thorough. We feel like they are working to help us succeed with our unique business needs (hey, don't we all have them?!)

**What do you dislike about Thought Industries?**

So far we don't have a Dislike list. Will bubble up any items we discover.

**What problems is Thought Industries solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Our business problems have to do with meeting the needs of our members across the globe who are NOT our employees. So tracking and reporting is a bit different than if all learners were from one organization. A benefit we see is how we are preparing to build courses more quickly by leveraging the simple tools in the system that all on our team can use (it doesn't require the skills of a Storyline expert!).

**Official Response from Mike Daecher:**

> Thank you Heidi! We really appreciate your review, and look forward to helping you grow and scale your learning business!

 ### 45. As a learning platform it leaves alot to be desired

**Rating:** 3.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Ashley T. | CX Delivery Manager | EMEA & APAC Regions, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 27, 2022

**What do you like best about Thought Industries?**

The reporting functionality in Thought Industries has scope to find and cross-reference a lot of information which is helpful. There's an opportunity to create custom reporting and pull in/select fields that you'd like to see.

**What do you dislike about Thought Industries?**

The poor UX and basic functionality within the system. There are some things which you'd expect to work, but just dont. As an example a way to bulk remove learners/users from the system. The ability to bulk re-send information. Lots of basic functionality which requires you to take alot of manual steps to address.

**What problems is Thought Industries solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The business problem was we needed a new training platform, which was superior to our last allowing my business area to grow and develop. However i wouldn't say this is the case, it's actually causing more work.

**Official Response from Mike Daecher:**

> Thanks for your feedback Ashley! We really appreciate it, and will use it to continually improve our product.

 ### 46. Thought Industries provides a complete LMS package

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Joanna A. | Client Education Specialist, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 25, 2022

**What do you like best about Thought Industries?**

Creating content within the LMS is easy to construct and use. There are many ways to customize learning paths, create linked content, and help learners manage their content.

**What do you dislike about Thought Industries?**

The reporting tools, while robust, are not that easy to learn to use. The UI is very logic-based but does not make it very user-friendly to extract the data I'm often looking for.

**Recommendations to others considering Thought Industries:**

Thought Industries does have great people to work with and should be high on your list to consider!

**What problems is Thought Industries solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We need to create scalable, accessible training content for thousands of learners across our platform. With TI, we can create our courses, place them into learning paths based on a persona we are targeting and give our users a sequence to work through independently.

**Official Response from Mike Daecher:**

> Thank you Joanna! We really appreciate the feedback!

 ### 47. Great tool that has revolutionised how we train our team and clients alike!

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** David B. | Director Customer Success, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 25, 2022

**What do you like best about Thought Industries?**

I like the ability to create our own content and make sure that it can follow a learning path ensuring our customers are on the right track. The ability to drill down and see what clients have learnt really helps us to hone our education track.

**What do you dislike about Thought Industries?**

I would like to see greater flexibility in the reporting, it can be quite confusing to setup initially but this may be due to the fact that I need more practice.

**Recommendations to others considering Thought Industries:**

Go for it - make sure that you have a good idea of what the learning path will be.

**What problems is Thought Industries solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Reducing the time spent by our customer success team on repeated training sessions. This has helped us hugely to concentrate on other parts of the role required.

**Official Response from Mike Daecher:**

> Thanks David! We love hearing that we're helping you revolutionize your business!

 ### 48. Excellent outreach, support & concepts - but UI can be confusing

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer Software | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 18, 2022

**What do you like best about Thought Industries?**

The high-touch personal outreach by our onboarding specialist, account manager, and support staff. Thought Industries does a great job of proactively communicating and providing prompt resolution when needed.

**What do you dislike about Thought Industries?**

The user interface is too busy and difficult to navigate. All of the interactive areas -- dashboard, support center, and reporting area -- have multiple tiles that look pretty but take up too much space on the page. They're also different sizes and contain too much text. This results in the user's eyes darting back and forth looking for the necessary item. I find myself craving a simple dropdown text menu.

**What problems is Thought Industries solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We use TI for an interactive learning center that is customizable and repeatable. Creating content is quite simple, and the ability to duplicate courses and then customize the duplicates is a big plus.

 ### 49. User friendly LMS with great support team.

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Kristen J. | Director of Education and Leadership Development, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**What do you like best about Thought Industries?**

This is our association's first time implementing an LMS. Change is not easy for our members, but they are very happy. Thought Industries staff were thoughtful and supportive, providing examples of best practices and change management tips along the way.

**What do you dislike about Thought Industries?**

So far, there is nothing we dislike. We had trouble figuring out some permissions for our panoramas, but TI helped us troubleshoot and we made it work.

**What problems is Thought Industries solving and how is that benefiting you?**

All of our training were housed in different portions of our website and managed by different teams. This is bringing everything together.

**What do you like best about Thought Industries?**

We use Thought Industries for Customer Education and internal training at Cloudinary. In my role as Instructional Designer/Curriculum Program manager, I have found the process of getting a course loaded, tested, and running straightforward and easy to do. We have taken advantage of the ability to add HTML within the CMS to embed external resources easily. We create assessments both manually in the CMS and using GIFT uploads. Everything works well and it is not a daunting task to try new ways of presenting content. It’s enjoyable working with the staff at TI to learn about new initiatives and solve problems.

**What do you dislike about Thought Industries?**

The Admin UI is very intuitive, but in any UI tool, I always look for the little question mark icon to provide on-the-spot help, so it would be nice to have something like that available.

**Recommendations to others considering Thought Industries:**

Work with the TI consultants. Whether, at the beginning or in the middle of your training development, they can help a lot.

**What problems is Thought Industries solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Our organization has implemented panorama, which allows us to deliver in-house training restricted to our employees. They can login with SSO and see this company-only training content.
We like the way that we can brand and create content according to our own design.
We also host links to podcasts and webinars on our TI website. This makes it easy for someone browsing to find a wide range of learning content.

**Official Response from Mike Daecher:**
