What do you like best about Legal Tracker?

Legal Tracker is easy to use and gives me visibility of all the important billing information that I need. It's easy to track spending by matter and they are constantly updating things to make them easier and better. Definitely worth the investment. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Legal Tracker?

While it is relatively easy to use once you get the hang of it, creating reports can be a little clunky. There are also some features I would like to see like the ability to edit task codes in invoices on my end rather than sending them back to the firm for correction. Allowing me to simply make the change would avoid rejecting or disputing the invoice and then having to see it again when it is resubmitted. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Legal Tracker?

Honestly, I have not experienced a downside. If there has ever been an issue, Legal Tracker's help desk has been quick to provide assistance. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Legal Tracker solving and how is that benefiting you?

Legal Tracker provides me with the ability to provide data/reports to our finance team that details our spending as a department. It also allows me to create reports for our legal department team to show costs/highest claims/settlement etc. It also allows me to create reports for our Operations team so that they can see the areas in which most claims/litigation are arising. Your organization seems to be using Legal Tracker's budgeting and unbilled time reporting features to capture their spending estimates. With this method, you can budget by time period or litigation/IP phase, define complex phased budgets and track spend-to-budget for those matters, and accurately budget and track matters with alternative fee arrangements (if you're using AFAs). You can also roll up budgets and spending into internal budgets and reforecast unanticipated events quickly. Nice!

"Great for handling invoices from numerous vendors all over the world"

What do you like best about Legal Tracker?

I like that I know as soon as the vendor enters an invoice so that I can review and approve as soon as possible. The system is very easy to use for both the vendors and myself. I am able to set up new vendors, new matters and approve invoices with little to no training. It's all very self-explanatory. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Legal Tracker?

Tracker works for my purposes just fine and there is really nothing that I dislike about the system other than that our other departments within the organization use a different system and the two systems don't seem to communicate with each other so I do not know whan an invoice is actually paid. What do you like best about Legal Tracker?

Finding solutions to problems is easy and quick. I appreciate my ability to add or edit matters for invoice submission. I used the ledes posting, matter editing, appeals. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Legal Tracker?

navigation on site is not self-explanatory, easy to get confused on where to find certain things.

There is no option to appeal on site. It is time consuming to edit each deducted line item on the ledes for appeals.

It is inconvenient that we are unable to edit matter statuses (open/closed) from the user standpoint, and we are unable to upload invoices to closed matters.

Legal Tracker also does not clarify the issue if attempting to upload an invoice to a closed matter. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
