The clear direction of the guidance to understand the outcomes of the questionnaire, as well as the level of accuracy on telling the thought process of the employee/candidate conducting the questionnaire. This is not user friendly and if the user fails a field, their confidence can become knocked which influences their next set of the test negatively when it would have been positive. We used Thomas International's HPTI and PPA psychometrics at the start of an accelerated development programme. I needed to become accredited to use them, and I attended e-learning (live and self-study) to complete this. The e-learning was of good quality and very useful. When I needed support from Thomas to navigate my way through their portal, I received prompt personal service that solved my problem quickly. We wanted to use psychometrics to add value and insight for the delegates on our accelerated development programme, and the reports we received very much helped with that. The PPA and GIA are incredibly useful tools to use when hiring and promoting within. The PPA's are a great indicator of how an individual likes to be managed and where their strengths lie. The GIA's are very helpful when accessing an individuals speed of learning, this means that when we need to hire someone to come in and hit the nail, the use of GIA's tell's us which individual would be quicker at picking things up and which individual may need more time or different approaches to help them learn.
