I like using Thinkific because it's intuitive, making course creation effortless and direct. The customer support team is always responsive when we have questions or need assistance, which enhances the overall experience. I appreciate the capability to create endless products, as this allows me to iterate and customize an individualized learning space for each client. This feature enhances my ability to support students by providing various learning modes and establishing unique course offerings. The setup process was fairly easy, and Thinkific's support in transferring contacts was incredibly helpful, which facilitated a seamless transition from our previous platform. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com. What do you dislike about Thinkific? I think some of the UX of the landing pages can be significantly improved. For one of our students to land on that page, it's not very inspiring, and we are limited in how much we can customize it as the ones setting it up. I think also being able to copy and paste into lessons without messing up formatting would be great. It's currently very glitchy, messes up easily, doesn't tell you which font or size you're currently at, and doesn't make it easy to edit. You kind of need to learn what triggers it each time and then slowly back up. Slows us down extremely when we have multiple lessons to update. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com. I appreciate Thinkific's intuitive navigation, which logically names functionalities and makes it easy to navigate. I also like the simplicity of setting up the platform as it's very plug-and-play. I find Thinkific is unable to meet the demands of a growing organization. The user roles are inadequate and don't protect our proprietary assets adequately. Instructors should be able to grade courses and access student data without having access to all our course materials. Additionally, there are significant issues with data reliability, where course completion data can change unexpectedly due to course modifications. I'm just starting my consulting and ecourse business and thinkific helps me to have all in one place. I first started to build everything myself with WordPress but thinkific helps me to save a lot of time and resources. I can truly recommend and also like that there are updates coming. Thinkific Plus gives a lot of great templates and snips from which content editors can pull from, making the ease of implementation a smooth process. The customer support we have received so far with setting up our courses has been very helpful. What do you dislike about Thinkific? Thinkific does not offer a sandbox or dev environment where you can see code or content edits and draft those changes without them going live. Once a landing page or course is live, you need to push any additional edits live if you want to see how it looks. This does not allow for proper QA. While using videos for our courses, we are also running into data limitations, such as being unable to collect proper data on how the videos perform. What do you dislike about Thinkific? Communities overall look and feel. Communities only send notifications from Admins that post. For it to be a true community, our community members want and need to know when their peers post as well to encourage communication, collaboration, and support. Notifications will allow them to stay more engaged in the platform overall. It would be great to get a summary email/day highlighting the posts that were made, or push notifications when anyone posts something. I dislike the need to have the superpowerups to take my platform to the next level visually and otherwise. The powerups are great and don't get me wrong I love them, it just seems like some of the things the platform should already have. Removing a course from a bundle should automatically make people lose access to the course vs having to manually unenroll in the users page. There is a glitch with removing and then adding community members for cohorts that would leave them in. I reached out to support about this, and I never heard back about it being fixed. The concern being that people removed from communities are added back in whenever more people are added.
