**What do you like best about Thinkific?**

I like how customizable Thinkific is. It's really helpful that it's kind of like a blank canvas where I can add my own graphic header and the questions I like. Thinkific has been really helpful as a space to make a creative learning process with a landing page where people can opt in when they want and go through the curriculum at their own pace. It has been great to use Thinkific as a centralized learning platform because it saves a lot of coaching calls and face-to-face meetings. After trying a learning platform with WordPress that was too clunky and didn't have the right tools we needed, we tried Thinkific, and it worked great.

**What do you dislike about Thinkific?**

I would like there to be a way to add better headings. For all my headers, I've had to use a different application to create a graphic image that I then import myself, rather than having a place that creates a branded template on top of every page. Setting up the whole course was a lot of work, though setting up the account was super easy.

**What problems is Thinkific solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Thinkific solves the problem of scattered team members by being a centralized learning platform, saving time on seminars, Zoom calls, and coaching meetings.

**What do you like best about Thinkific?**

I really like how intuitive the product creation flow is. The platform makes it easy to turn an idea into a structured digital product in a very short time. I also appreciate the flexibility in pricing options, especially the ability to offer free downloads in exchange for email signups. The customization features allow me to create a store that feels personal and aligned with my brand.

**What do you dislike about Thinkific?**

The AI product creation tool has potential, but it could be more precise and user-guided. Sometimes the prompts feel a bit unclear, and the output does not fully match what I request. A more interactive step-by-step system or clearer input instructions would make the experience smoother and more efficient.

**What problems is Thinkific solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Where to sell my content and to be paid straight away. It can be linked to Stripe and it allows the client to purchase with several payment ways.

**What do you like best about Thinkific?**

The ability to customise the course content, while also offering a range of templates ready to implement. The page builder for course pages and the front-end of the site makes it easy for beginners while also offering the flexibility for power users to edit page code. The integrations with zapier meant that we were able to automate our invoicing process. The performance was nearly 100% up time. The pricing was competitive.

**What do you dislike about Thinkific?**

There were some pages where we were unable to fire javascript, which meant that we were limited in our customisations somewhat.

**What problems is Thinkific solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Being able to offer course content in a digestable way for our users, while reporting on performance. The integration with Google Analytics and inhouse reporting meant we could manage our users to encourage course completion. We were able to improve our support services by ensuring our users were able to learn and self-serve with courses. The ability to charge for courses with the integration with Stripe made it easy for our accounting team.

**What do you like best about Thinkific?**

I love how Thinkific creates a streamlined platform where I can manage order bumps, subscriptions, flagship, and mini courses all in one place. It's more comprehensive compared to Squarespace and Shopify. I enjoy the integration feature that allows me to connect my courses with Shopify and TikTok Shop, enabling me to reach my audience effectively and sell both virtually and in person. Thinkific's customer service is fantastic; they went above and beyond to help me when I was locked out of my account for 28 days, communicating through emails and phone calls to reactivate my site. The educational resources through webinars and the YouTube channel have been invaluable in helping me maximize the platform's usage.

**What do you dislike about Thinkific?**

I wish there was an email marketing feature so I wouldn't have to pay extra for Zapier and Mailchimp, which increases my monthly budget by $40. I also wish there was embedded video recording natively into the platform or integration with Zoom without having to use link attachments. This would help not having to send so many links and reminders. After hosting 35 events on Eventbrite, I would like to host my webinars natively on my own platform on Thinkific to avoid so many fees and all my attendees' issues with signing in. It took 2 weeks to learn it, and I could use more assistance with landing pages.

Thinkific provides a streamlined platform for creating courses and managing community memberships. I can integrate with Shopify and TikTok to reach my audience effectively and sell both virtually and in person.

**What do you like best about Thinkific?**

Thinkific provides detailed transaction information and helpful filters, so it’s easier to pull exactly the data you’re looking for. I can quickly run different reports to keep an eye on revenue and fees, and the overall reporting process feels straightforward.

**What do you dislike about Thinkific?**

In my experience, Thinkific doesn’t provide much support for setting up the correct tax amounts across different U.S. states or countries. It seems to default to a standard setting that doesn’t match the proper taxes for every location. This has led to issues and extra work on my end to reverse taxes that students were charged and paid incorrectly.

**What problems is Thinkific solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Thinkific is the main platform I use to sell training courses. It handles registration, provides receipts, and keeps track of subscriptions and memberships, so I don’t have to.

The cost is hard for me. it hold the value but it does cause me stress as I'm just beginning my programming.

Although Thinkific Plus is a strong platform, its higher pricing can be difficult for smaller businesses to justify. In certain cases, users also have to rely on workarounds for specific integrations, which can be inconvenient for teams looking for a fully streamlined setup.

The issue of creating scalable courses is resolved by Thinkific which offer a user-friendly platform with multi-site managements and customizable brandings. I use Thinkific for work projects for our clients, and I like that it's very easy to use with many resources available to help along the way. I find it intuitive and simple for the user. I also appreciate the support we received for setting up the platform. The launch specialist was patient and provided all the information we needed in an easy-to-understand manner. The initial setup was relatively easy.

It took us a long time to create the actual content. I didn't realize how long it took. I wish there were more resources with Thinkific that can help create content.

**What do you like best about Thinkific?**

What I like most about Thinkific is how easy it is to use. The platform is very intuitive, which lets me focus on creating content instead of dealing with technical issues. It gives me everything I need to run my courses in one place, from hosting lessons to managing students and sales. The initial setup was pretty easy too, with intuitive step-by-step guides that made it straightforward to get our courses up and running quickly. We chose Thinkific because it’s more user-friendly, offers better course management tools, and gives us more control over the student experience. It’s reliable, easy to use, and has most of the features you need to run online courses effectively.

**What do you dislike about Thinkific?**

Some design and customization options are limited, and advanced features are only available on higher-tier plans. It would be great to have more flexibility in page layouts, more control over the checkout design, and access to advanced features without needing to upgrade to higher priced plans.

**What do you like best about Thinkific?**

It has all the functions I need and more, so it allows us to grow as we go. Also appreciate the accessible entry level plans for starting entrepreneurs. 
I built my whole homepage there, my landing pages and of course the courses we offer. Now we can also offer products, that´s a nice extra too. 
I really really love that I can host my videos directly on the platform, without a limit,  it makes things so much easier. 
The community option is very interesting too. We´re not using it yet, but definitely will in the future. 
Interface is so intuitive and I have always received helpful support, when I needed it. 
I use the platform for some years now, almost daily these days, I always find what I need, creating my courses was easy and there are many very thoughtful options that save time and energy. 
The basic integration options I needed work well. I am not the techiest person and could implement everything i wished.

**What do you dislike about Thinkific?**

I would love to have the App included on my plan, to make it easier for our students.
And I would love to integrate with Brevo for emails.

An all integrated platform for courses, with a beautiful frontend (landingpages, even homepage), multilanguage, beautfully predesigned and can be edited at every detail if wnated, with everithing hosted on the platform, no others needed. Having everything at one place with accessible pricing, makes it so easy and enjoyable!

I really like Thinkific because it’s so simple and easy to follow.

The help center is FANTASTIC! I’m not a tech person, but Thinkific makes it easy to use and even easier to get help whenever I need it. It’s perfect for beginners and, of course, for online course creators who want to save tons of time. Stress-free and affordable!

The payment methods work seamlessly, whether you use Thinkific Payments or a third-party option.

I love all the features and can’t wait to keep growing with it!

Well, I have to say this might not apply to everyone.

But I’m happy to share my experience: since I’m in Indonesia and most of the help center agents are in the USA, I need to adjust to their time zone and wait for responses during their office hours. It would be great if there were support agents in my time zone to help people like me in Southeast Asia.

Aside from helping me create my online self-care school for busy people, I love that they're always adding new tools, updating with AI options, and providing very practical features to retain my audience, like having my own app, or improving communities, which are now like our own social network...

And overall, it's very easy to use, intuitive, comprehensive, and an ideal way to run an online business.

Since my online school is designed as a large video library, like a "self-care Netflix," I initially didn't know how to design that experience for the consumer, as Thinkific has a different design for courses.

But I eventually found practical ways to create video galleries by topic, and my students are thrilled.

When they upgraded to the app, it was another way my students began using the school's videos much more fluently.

**What do you like best about Thinkific?**

I like that Thinkific provides us with a complete course platform without needing a lot of custom development, allowing us to focus on content and learner experience instead of building tech from scratch. I love the course builder, the student experience, and the payments & access control features. The automation and analytics also stand out to me. The initial setup was quite easy and straightforward, as the interface is guided enough to build a simple course and have people enroll without needing a developer. It's a very solid and user-friendly platform for creating and delivering online courses, covering most of what we need out of the box without requiring heavy technical work.

**What do you dislike about Thinkific?**

I believe that a few areas could be improved - site/page builder limitations: I feel it is a bit restrictive. Some design changes that seem simple require lots of workarounds with custom code; Reporting and analytics: It could be more robust, I would love deeper insights into learner behavior without having to export and analyze it elsewhere; assessment & interactivity: Quizzes and assignments cover the basics, but more advanced assessment options would make it easier for better learning experiences.

**What do you like best about Thinkific?**

The level of customer support is frankly incredible. Quick, helpful, and more comprehensive (and patient) than anything I've ever experienced. Functionality continuously improving too, and very easy to use (I have zero tech/coding experience, but have managed to build a pretty sophisticated platform with 18,000+ registered users). 

It's not an understatement to say that what Thinkific has enabled me to build has changed my/my family's life. I've never evangelised about a business so much, and can't recommend Thinkific enough.

**What do you dislike about Thinkific?**

Quiz functionality looks a little outdated/lacks certain functions that I would love to see, but I'm aware this is being rebuilt.

It enabled me to sell my content - previously only contained within printed books - in a far more interactive form. Made scaling so much easier, and hugely increased revenue/profit.

I like using Thinkific because it's intuitive, making course creation effortless and direct. The customer support team is always responsive when we have questions or need assistance, which enhances the overall experience. I appreciate the capability to create endless products, as this allows me to iterate and customize an individualized learning space for each client. This feature enhances my ability to support students by providing various learning modes and establishing unique course offerings. The setup process was fairly easy, and Thinkific's support in transferring contacts was incredibly helpful, which facilitated a seamless transition from our previous platform.

**What do you dislike about Thinkific?**

I think some of the UX of the landing pages can be significantly improved. For one of our students to land on that page, it's not very inspiring, and we are limited in how much we can customize it as the ones setting it up. I think also being able to copy and paste into lessons without messing up formatting would be great. It's currently very glitchy, messes up easily, doesn't tell you which font or size you're currently at, and doesn't make it easy to edit. You kind of need to learn what triggers it each time and then slowly back up. Slows us down extremely when we have multiple lessons to update.

It was easy to get started, having never used a LMS before.  We are a small company and do a lot of the setup of our systems ourselves.  The "how to guides" are really useful and had us up and running easliy.  We've also likes the add ons and improvements over the years we have Thinkific.  We tried others but they were not as intuitive, too complex and time consuming and without the customisation we needed.

**What do you dislike about Thinkific?**

We'd like a few more features on the mid range payment tier.  We'd like to be able to group our customers by product and more easily email them as a group.  We'd like an easy integration with our website also.

**What do you like best about Thinkific?**

Our community has been in the process of looking for a new learning management system for our enablement training programs and we decided to launch with Thinkific this past spring. 

What we liked the most about the product was the ability to create both on-demand and live course content, which fit perfectly into our current program model and expansion plans. Plus, the community group part of the platform allows us to take a step forward in keeping students engaged in the LMS instead of using slack channels for communication.

We've been working behind the scenes on getting courses rebuilt in Thinkifc and recently just launched our new system. The process of bringing over old courses was rather smooth and we are excited to finally get users into the system to start engaging with our on-demand content. The team at Thinkfic was super helpful with all of our unique program questions and guiding us the right direction.

**What do you dislike about Thinkific?**

The one downside to the platform is that we need need to use some custom code to properly upload our e-learnings as multimedia files instead of SCORM files. Our courses have multiple e-learnings in them so we wanted to avoid using the bundle feature and keep them all in a single course. The issue was when initially uploading the .zip file students could skip the whole e-learning and move on with content. 

Thankfully the Thinkific team was able to produce some custom code to avoid this issue. We do need to manually update each zip files code, but we found it worth it for student engagement with our materials. 

Also, there is a size limit on multimedia files in the system. If you have a e-Learning with a lot of videos you may need to remove them and upload the videos directly into Thinkific to avoid the size constraints. This wasn't that big of an issue for our course build once we understood what the issue was.

Thinkific is intuitive in its design and interface. The platform is clean and easy to navigate for learners and us as administrators. The student experience has been vastly improved upon moving to Thinkific from our previous continuing education platform.

Thinkific's drag-and-drop builder and templated course structure made for an initial setup that was smooth. Customer support has been highly responsive to feedback. They've implemented functionality upgrades to the site that we recommended.

Visual customization constraints and coding options are limited. The reporting tools that would be most helpful are only available on the highest-priced plan, and even then aren't guaranteed. Limited lead and funnel tracking features. In-house emailing options are very limited. Would benefit from more design feature capabilities.

I chose Thinkific because I did not want to just "sell online courses." I wanted to truly teach those that bought my courses. Thinkific's features like submittable homework assignments, drip schedules and prerequisite filters allow me to ensure that my students are truly engaging with the course they purchased.

**What do you dislike about Thinkific?**

I think the Community space could use some work in terms of the way it connects to other products. First, we should be able to customize the welcome email for the Community the same way we can for individual courses. Second, being able to mass email Community members on all plans would be very helpful in terms of increasing engagement. And finally, the Community doesn't come up as a course so it can't connect to Zapier which makes creating streamlined workflows or communication to community members impossible. I think it's a good start, but I would appreciate if more of these updates could be worked on. The Community space has had very little improvement since I first started using it over 3 years ago.

It allows me to offer my classes and coaching programs in one place where I am able to easily create different pricing models, offer 3rd party financing options like Klarna, and it allows me to store materials like downloads and spreadsheets in the class player so I'm not individually sharing these things with students and clients.

It's easy to use - the easier I used of all LMS. It answer my need specially the Wysiwyg aspect, you can for sure get a beautiful Academy that offer a great experience to your learner since the basic plan! Price are reasonable and the support team is a superstar! They give you fast answer and they make sure to follow up each time.

**What do you dislike about Thinkific?**

I wish some tiny feature were not so far in the advanced plan or could be offered à la carte like access to custom code, SSO or SCORM format... For exemple the scorm format is only available in the Enterprise plan which I dont see buying in a near future. But I would gladly pay for that feature as a stand alone. Also, I really appreciate that we can custom many type of banner and add dynamic content on custom page but there is still some detail and terminology we cannot modify like the term "product" in the catalogue or "lesson" and "course" even if the "course"' only contain a webinar recording. More possibility to tag those content following our needs will be great. 
But overall I really enjoy my experience with Thinkific and my team is super impress with the result of our academy so far!

Easy interface to build courses. But the best really was the bootcamp they offered (that I'm not sure they offer anymore). It was a 6 month program that absolutely got me up to speed to sell courses. It was invaluable.

I have had an issue with digital downloads that I put a request in to fix over 9 months ago. I've checked back in every few months on their progress for fixing the issue and I get the same canned response that they are working on it. . . for over 9 months! This issue has made it so I cannot use digital downloads as a feature at all. Long story short, their customer service is lacking.

I teach on-demand therapy courses to therapists learning new therapy skills. Thinkific is the landing page for the courses, houses the courses, takes payment, deals with taxes. It's a one stop shop and it's nice that I can let my courses be nearly 100% passive income.

I like the ease of use that the platform provides to business owners who are looking for a simple yet professional platform that can host their resources and courses. I enjoy the customization options for the course players and the in-depth tutorials provided on the Thinkific website. The course management system is straightforward and user-friendly, making it a breeze for our managers to assign courses and change drip schedules when needed for our users. Other than that, the integration is easy, and the video library is extremely helpful when you are uploading many videos to your modules!!

**What do you dislike about Thinkific?**

As far as downsides go, I would say the customer support is lacking as far as communication goes. They are great when you can get an answer via email but it can be very difficult to reach a support member even on a paid plan. We had a system error that caused are courses to go down for over a day, and we were not able to get timely responses or have a support number that we could call. The online resources for help were not sufficient, and we ended up needing a technician to reset something manually. The chatbots can be extremely frustrating and not helpful. The other downside would be the payment software they developed. It makes it very difficult to do anything other then charge someone a subscription fee, so we usually opt for using Stripe and just setting up our clients with a free account. We are not able to view any payment options for our customers or offer them a one-time payment for a service or something that it easy without them having to enter their payment info into a separate digital download that we need to create. Lastly one of my biggest frustrations is that you cannot set a course to be no payment at all (not free) and only include it in certain memberships. It makes you select either free, subscription, or one-time payment. I don't want to select free because then it allows anyone to access it if they have the link.

Thinkific is providing an easy to use platform that allows our company to upload videos and learning resources for our clients. Our clients are then able to provide new and exciting classes and services to their communities! I’ve been using Thinkific since 2018 and it’s been a fabulous tool for our niche online school. We’ve built a fabulous reputation and a brand with students loving the course experience. Many leaving reviews that the interface is so much easier than our competitors what they keep coming back to use every 2 years when they need to do their continuing education to maintain their professional certification. The frequent product updates are great too because we can keep improving as the tool continues to improve.

**What do you dislike about Thinkific?**

There are two things I dislike, which aren’t dealbreakers and this isn’t a new complaint, but worth mentioning here since it’s being asked:
1. The transaction records show purchased in UTC time and not my current or preferred timezone. Which is a pain for external record keeping. 
2. You can’t reset a student’s progress on a course. So if a student completes a course and wanted to take the same course again a year or two later, they are unable to. There are workarounds like duplicating courses, but that can be a pain.

they’re allowing course creators to have a platform in order to sell their products and service services. I think they’re fabulous partners and have enjoyed working with them over the last several years.

I find that the offer to create courses in Thinkific is one of the most complete and versatile (having tested several). It is easy to create a diverse range of courses with varied conditions.

The tools are practical and quick to use, I like the fact that I can use multiple content elements in different courses without having to start everything over in the upload process.

Uploading the courses is very quick and simple.

There is a lack of variety and originality in the features and assessment options to support online learning, as with tools like Ans, Genially, or others, but nothing major.

I would like the choice of lesson options to be more integrated when the wrong option is selected, for example, when choosing text and eventually wanting video or download.

The platform allows me to upload my courses professionally with exclusive and automated access for clients. It allows me to create training cohorts and thus offer a personalized experience by group. There are really not so many things I like about this platform. It works and has a little downtime.

**What do you dislike about Thinkific?**

I even don't know where to start... :) The user experience is terrible—it's slow and unintuitive. 

The tools available for B2B sales are very limited, especially for EU-based companies. The features that do exist for B2B Sales often don't work properly or feel unfinished. 

The way user roles are set up is poorly designed. For example, if I want someone to only add or remove subtitles on my lessons, I have to grant them the 'ADMIN' role just for that small task, which is absurd. The worst part is that admins can access your financial data. There's a checkbox labeled 'Hide financial Data for Admins,' but it only hides the accumulated revenue reports. Admins can still access 'Orders' and 'Transactions,' making that checkbox practically useless, since an admin could just take screenshots and quickly get a summary using any LLM. 

Recently, they launched email marketing tools, but the only customization options for your emails are basic formatting like bold or italic text—nothing more. Why not allow instructors to provide their own email HTML so I could import templates from Mailchimp or design my own emails? These are just a few of the issues that immediately come to mind & I am not talking about player bugs my students always experience.

The support team, the help setting everything up has been spectacular and by far above and beyond what I had expected. I could not have completed my website, or my educational platform without the help provided as part of my Thinkific Plus membership. Setting up the learning course was easy and very intuituve. I have been thrilled with the ease of completing the courses.

The one downside for me is the ability to download the learning modules as SCORM files to be used by larger companies who require the learning to be completed on their LMS. Not only is the user experience seamless, but the builder interface is plug-and-play, allowing courses to be setup in less than 15 minutes (for content developed ahead of time). Also, the option to add on new features and functionalities through the app store is a true W as it makes the platform customizable to unique business needs.

The lack of flexibility when it comes to page layouts. While they are functional, they don't allow for enough customization - examples: limited fonts, placement options for elements, button placements, etc.. Also, the user interface feels quite antiquated in a world where consumers are so familiar with video streaming platforms. Customer service is a mixed bag: we love our Account Manager, but the lag time between responses can handful you at times.

The ability to make changes at an individual level without requiring extensive experience is highly useful.

I find Thinkific is unable to meet the demands of a growing organization. The user roles are inadequate and don't protect our proprietary assets adequately. Instructors should be able to grade courses and access student data without having access to all our course materials. Additionally, there are significant issues with data reliability, where course completion data can change unexpectedly due to course modifications. This makes it hard to trust the course outcomes reported by Thinkific.

**What do you like best about Thinkific?**

Well, I'll attribute it to the exciting feature of the Thinkific extension that's present in the Plus LMS. Especially the Learning Path feature, it really made it very easy for me to build different course modules into a single bundle and making each course module a prerequisite to the next one before a learner is able to acquire certificate. And i found myself frequently using this feature to build more course bundles with ease. It's really the ease of implementation for me.
Big ups to the Thinkific Team for thinking out of the box to come up with this fantastic solution.
And you're also doing well in terms of customer support efforts, because the support staffs are usually just an email away. I remember when I strugling to add some file types to my course, then I reach out and the support I got was topnortch. It's also the ease of integration of different file types into the courses.

**What do you dislike about Thinkific?**

There's no inbuilt adequate information or guide on how to navigate most of these features.
More can be done in this regard.

Saving a huge amount of time an instructional and eLearning developer like me have to spent putting all the individually courses I've developed together as a bundle for users to take all at a go.

**What do you like best about Thinkific?**

What first attracted us to Thinkific was their course player - out of the box, it delivered the student experience we were hoping to deliver. I soon discovered that the admin experience is just as enjoyable - courses come together easily, the web builder is a good balance of ease and customizability. Basically, all the needed functionality has been thoughtfully designed into the LMS; user experience can make or break a system for me, and this is where Thinkific shines. Also, they've done a great job thoroughly documenting the feature set, so looking for answers is pretty much always productive.

**What do you dislike about Thinkific?**

I sometimes want support in the moment, and with Thinkific, you have to send a request and wait for follow-up. This can be frustrating. The flip side is that it forces me to do my diligence, make sure I understand my problems and goals, do my research, and ask the right questions. This ultimately serves our product and makes it easier for Thankific's team to offer more valuable support.

**What problems is Thinkific solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Our LMS solves the problem of delivering learning content and tracking student completion.

The ChatBox, most of the actions are intuitive, the interface is neat and clear.

**What do you dislike about Thinkific?**

Thinkific is not flexible if I create a course, and I want to turn it to a subcourse. Thinkific does not allow me to delete many building blocks, I am only allowed to archive, I don't see why!

To get to an audience and be able to work remotely as a trainer live and with pre-recorded courses
