Thinkific Plus Reviews & Product Details

I like the way the backoffice is organized. We work for a lot of different clients with their own look & feel and needs. We also work with multiple team members in the same backoffice, a clear process is needed here. Luckily thinkific made it easy to group all the related assets to a certain client via the 'category' option. Building courses in this tool feels very intuitive by simply using the courses & their learning activities. I feel like there are enough learning activities for us to do the job. We mostly use the text, download & video lesson. Launching modules goes via the drip schedule which makes launching modules automatic from now on.

Thinkific also has a nice e- commerce feature. It makes it easy to sell the courses & the login creation.

This LMS system was easy to learn, even for our non-digital colleauges. It is helpful that you can assign certain roles to users. We have different teams working in Thinkific. Based on the tasks they have to do, we give them a certain role in Thinkific. In the beginning there was a learning curve. Header & footer are domain based, which is a bit unhandy for us since we build platforms for different clients. But ok, not a big deal, there are other ways to customize your platform.

We have some specific cases when adding certain role to users (for example externals who want to check a course that is not ready yet). We miss some AI features.

There is not much data you can track: f.e: how many time did a participant spend on this page, when do they usually log in? I feel like the 'analysis' part can still improve.

Thinkific has everything you need in a Learning Management System or Learning Business Solution. It has tools and integrations for small or enterprise businesses.

I like the fact you can build end to end funnels and marketing campaigns to promote and sell your content. All authoring tools are easy and you can get immediate feedback. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

From an enterprise solution, I think there are parts of the API that could be improved and a more robust user administration to log in as a specific user to help troubleshoot their experience. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Well, I'll attribute it to the exciting feature of the Thinkific extension that's present in the Plus LMS. Especially the Learning Path feature, it really made it very easy for me to build different course modules into a single bundle and making each course module a prerequisite to the next one before a learner is able to acquire certificate. And i found myself frequently using this feature to build more course bundles with ease. It's really the ease of implementation for me.

Big ups to the Thinkific Team for thinking out of the box to come up with this fantastic solution.

And you're also doing well in terms of customer support efforts, because the support staffs are usually just an email away. I remember when I strugling to add some file types to my course, then I reach out and the support I got was topnortch. It's also the ease of integration of different file types into the courses. The level of customer support we have received is unmatched! We are currently migrating from an old LMS and integrating with Thinkific - they have been there for us every step of the way! It's so easy to use! The platform is very user friendly and creating both courses and landing pages is very intuitive. We also installed Rob Galvin's PowerUps which gave us more possibilities to create really beautiful landing pages that match our brand.

It was a bit difficult to manage multiple languages within Thinkfic. It required us to create one site for each language, but since it wasn't possible to copy the content from one site to another, it required a lot of manual work to set it up and maintain. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I love Thinkific Plus for its easy customization, letting me fully brand courses. The platform makes it simple to track student progress with detailed reports and is just simplistic and intuitive to use. It integrates smoothly with other tools, and offers great support! I think that Thinkific Plus is a powerful and feature rich platform. I didn't have a lot of drawbacks and that is probably dependent On my specific role. Thinkific Plus gives a lot of great templates and snips from which content editors can pull from, making the ease of implementation a smooth process. The customer support we have received so far with setting up our courses has been very helpful. Thinkific does not offer a sandbox or dev environment where you can see code or content edits and draft those changes without them going live. Once a landing page or course is live, you need to push any additional edits live if you want to see how it looks. This does not allow for proper QA. While using videos for our courses, we are also running into data limitations, such as being unable to collect proper data on how the videos perform. While Thinkific Plus provides many useful features, we’ve found the language barrier and content management to be challenging. For Cyberimpact, delivering a seamless multilingual experience is crucial, yet Thinkific's language customization is limited. Key sections like course content and custom text require manual translation, adding to our workload. Additionally, managing multiple languages often means creating separate sites, which can complicate content management and consistency. Improving these areas would make Thinkific Plus an even better fit for companies like ours that prioritize a high-quality, accessible experience for all clients.
