My most appreciated feature is that SM is built on .Net framework technology which is fast, resilient and trustworthy. It's feature to support multiple database platforms is excellent regarding scalability and security. I also like the fact that reporting now uses the very well known DevExpress components and it makes it so easy to create new good looking reports. Another great feature is the use of components like SQC and Instrument Manager as separate products. A performance benefit is the use of 3-tier landscape (client-application-database) and also the use of a well made web environment. The use of the mobile techology is also a great new feature.
