Needs to improve the ability to extract the data from the database and allow other reporting tools to be used easily from within and external to the application. Needs to have more documentation on how to setup QC in Sample Manager. The Explorer Refresh Bug also need to be fixed in version 12.3 without having to upgrade to a new version. Recommendations to others considering Thermo Scientific SampleManager LIMS Software: Plan well ahead of time and make sure your IT group is involved if they are going to manage the servers and security. The Explorer Refresh Bug also need to be fixed in version 12.3 without having to upgrade to a new version. We would like to use the dashboard options in 12.3 but we will see how the documentation is for it. The integration manager application is great, but we would like if it had the ability to perform calculations...simple calculations and complicated calculation. We have used the LIMS for an extended time 20+ years. In that time the functionality has grown considerably, the product allows the continuing use of legacy functionality while combining new features and technologies to grow functionality and features.
