The program is able to adapt to almost any environment with satisfactory results. Sadly, even using AWS in the company, some windows load very slow. Modify folders needs around 20 o 30 seconds from click to pop. This brings us issue that we have to find other way to enter the sample weights into SM. For example, i Have a sample, A need to do two tests (ie. iron and pH). If someone open it on iron test, person on pH test cannot open this sample. The lab had also used a lot of excel spreadsheets for repeat analysis checks under the old system as it was too fiddly to issue retests, but this works really well within samplemanager **What do you dislike about Thermo Scientific SampleManager LIMS Software?** It's been a major hurdle for the lab to work around some of the data integrity "features" with SampleManager. The fact that samples get locked out for all analyses even if it is being viewed for a completely different analysis is incredibly limiting in a lab environment where tests are run concurrently.
