I spent 36 years in restaurants, from dishwasher to owner, and ran Mouton's Bistro & Bar for 14 years before selling it in March 2026. The Restaurant Consultant is the tool I wanted during those years: the systems a consultant would charge for, in an app I could open during service. It is built for independent restaurant owners and working GMs, not chains with a corporate support team. It covers 12 operational domains: leadership, service, training, staffing, HR and documentation, kitchen, costs, reviews, SOPs, crisis, facilities and social media. Day to day, owners use it to build the weekly schedule and let staff see their shifts in an employee portal, track prime cost weekly against a target, cost recipes, run menu engineering on item margins, and keep temperature and HACCP logs. It generates six role-specific training manuals (server, kitchen, bartender, host, busser, manager) for your restaurant in about 30 seconds, drafts HR documentation and SOPs, and drafts replies to guest reviews. Sales and vendor reports exported from your POS or distributor can be imported as CSV or PDF. There is also an operations consultant you can ask anything, loaded with your restaurant's name, concept and targets, so the answer uses your numbers. Three domains are free forever with no credit card. Basic and Pro start with a 7-day free trial. It runs in a browser and as native iPhone, iPad and Android apps.
