What do you like best?

Instant notifications and two-way communication

No need for an actual person to contact office personnel about the visitor

What do you dislike?

I would not call this a dislike but I wish there were more options such as:

- Being able to customize texts such as

- Call options for visitors- If the office personnel does not respond via text then they receive an automated call from Receptionist # for an additional alert.

What do you like best?

The Receptionist, though an initial outlay of an expense is still way more cost effective than staffing an otherwise empty office with additional people to simply sit and greet Clients. The Setup is simple for those who are tech savvy it should be a breeze!! The customer facing display is attractive and helps to deliver an appropriate expectation and message. IF you are planning on using the Receptionist make sure to map out your customer interaction and be sure to maximize your data that clients provide. Don't just use this to cut the cost of your staffing. Use this as a marketer. Do not make your clients go through too many onscreen questions in order to check in. We generate a text from the Receptionist to the client which has them fill out an added info form and rewards them with the Wifi password. What do you like best?

Setting up a vertical slice to show my boss took about 15 minutes, and it took our marketing guy about as much time to match the software's aesthetic to our location. Everything that we wanted to customize was customizable, and the interface was extremely intuitive. I was able to get everything set up the way I wanted it without getting into documentation (but the documentation and support staff is there if you need it). What do you dislike?

Images need to be squares to look their best, which is no big deal except when everyone's gives you headshots that are shot in portrait and don't always crop to a good-looking square. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Our primary reason for using it is to manage delivers, but we have also gotten value logging visitors and vendors trips into our building. What do you like best?

The Receptionist was the best value for the same options other providers cost much higher at. From time of purchase to implementation the system was very easy to get up and going. What do you like best?

I love The Receptionist, it allows our front desk security guards to focus on the security aspect of their job of checking ID's and it allows for screening of unexpected visitors for our employees. We've had The Receptionist for a month now and LOVE it! It took a few minutes to set up and one email to get all of our questions answered. There are so many customizable options. And best of all, we did not even have to explain to our clients how to use it. We just sat it out front to see how they would react. They started using it day 1 with no complaints! What do you like best?

Ease of use. From an Administrator viewpoint, the setup and configuration could not be more intuitive and straight forward. That same experience is carried over to the local site administrator and finally down to the end-user. What do you like best?

What do you like best?

This product is one of the easiest platforms I have ever come across when it came to set up and customization. When I have had to reach out for questions the service and professionalism have been stellar. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

We have to reset it just about every other day as it gets stuck and does not complete check ins. While this is a simple matter that takes us about 2 minutes in the morning, it is a concern. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best?

The app is easy to use and provides flexibility in setting up components for your organization. I like that as an organization, managers can verify staff and provide guidance on how many staff are in the office at a time. What do you like best?

The Receptionist is so easy to set up. I had very few issues setting up the program on our iPad, and it is very user-friendly so it was very easy for our employees to transition. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I do not like how contactless check-in covers the screen and lingers for an extended time. I prefer our company logo background to remain prominent. We are located in Pennsylvania and while we were concerned with the different time zone and their location it turned out not to be a problem. What do you like best?

What do you like best?

Other than the amazing customer service? Everything! This setup has made our companies check in process so much more efficient and looks incredibly professional. We were set up within minutes and the staff is constantly checking in on us to make sure we are runnin' smooth! This product helped us to be ITAR compliant and that's huge! Since we are constantly on the move in our shop getting an alert makes a long response to someone waiting a thing of the past!

Being a machine shop in the Aerospace industry requires us to comply with a lot of regulations. So no longer having an unprofessional looking binder out on the counter and having this really slick looking check in process really elevates our shop into the 21st century! We have streamlined our check in process, avoided accidentally missing someone up front. Notifications of deliveries are a huge benefit as well as the SMS text feature. What do you like best?

A very short learning curve, minimal configuration, and generally just worked out of the box. Easy to customize, and the entire sales, account and support staff were very quick to respond (hours not days), and always had the answer - or a link to a support article immediately. What do you like best?

It solves my tracking in aspects of visitors, parents and staff coming into the building for meetings. It is challenging for visitors with all the questions but I feel it is necessary in the times we are in. It takes a picture of the visitor and stores it into the system. What do you like best?

After long hours of research for an application that would assist with a Covid-19 questionnaire, The Receptionist was the absolute best option for ease of use and price. The customer service is always available for assistance and very professional. I would highly recommend this application to any business for their employees and visitors.
