OSIsoft is in the middle of migrating almost all of their old programs to newer ones, so it is difficult to decide whether to use a PI program or wait for the replacement. Both the old and new programs are also very buggy. You will need to contact tech support a lot for this. I can't imagine what it is like to not have the Enterprise agreement. Excel adding is very good to extract data from the database and then analyze. Database is very strong and reliable. Easy to access from any of its apps and addings. It is fast with a good network. I take a lot of data from the database in a couple of minutes. Timing graphs are very good when showing data, it is easy to change scales and compares two or more tags. PI Processbook is not very friendly to build views, graphs could also be improved, it is not easy to modify graph properties, and types. To represent a tag in front of other only is possible with a few data, it is not valid for showing one year data.
