Their knowledge in aligning the right candidates with our expectations stood out significantly. They lean in harder than any recruiting partner we’ve worked with. For us, the biggest difference is calibration—within days they were sending candidates who were clearly on target. Our needs are very specific: we can’t just hire for industry knowledge alone. We need people with deep technical expertise, strong industry context, and cultural fit—while still moving fast. At one point Eric (the COO) told me: give me your unicorn requirements and I'll find you a unicorn. Over our many hires with them The Job Sauce was able to get super specific, not only matching what we asked for but exceeding our expectations, and they did it with speed. When we set out to hire a Lead Software Engineer, the quality was so strong that we actually brought on two people. One is now running security, and the other is leading special projects. Another standout was a Sales Engineer search. That was one of our most critical hires, and they found someone who has already opened up an entirely new line of revenue through customer conversations. On the marketing side, they brought us a leader who automated major workflows and built our SDR outbound team, which grew to five people faster than expected. They don’t just send resumes—they very often challenge our thinking about the position, keep us from settling too early, and only put finalists in front of us when they’re confident it’s the right fit. In practice, that just means the roles they do take move faster and close stronger. Oh, they do send me a Christmas set of hot sauces and a few of them were dangerously spicy - so there is that.
