The Aesthetic Standard is the UK's independent patient resource and clinic verification platform for medical aesthetic treatments. Founded in 2026, we exist because choosing an aesthetic clinic is one of the most important decisions a patient can make and patients deserve truly independent, clinically verified guidance to make it with confidence. Every clinic featured on The Aesthetic Standard is manually reviewed against our published verification criteria before being listed. We check practitioner statutory registration with the GMC, GDC or NMC, professional memberships including BCAM and BAMAN, voluntary CQC registration where held, Save Face and JCCP accreditation, and independent patient feedback across Google and Trustpilot. Where possible we speak directly with patients to understand their experience before a clinic is listed. We publish comprehensive expert treatment guides covering the UK's most advanced aesthetic treatments including CO2 laser resurfacing, fractional CO2 laser, ablative CO2 laser, Profhilo, Profhilo Structura, Profhilo Body, Sculptra and polynucleotide treatment. Our guides cover how treatments work, what to expect, recovery, costs and real before and after photos from verified practitioners. Verified clinics are listed across London, Manchester and Birmingham, with coverage expanding as we grow. All content is written by our editorial team and reviewed by our medical reviewer, a GMC-registered doctor and full member of the British College of Aesthetic Medicine with 17 years of experience in aesthetic medicine.
