THC Open Mindfulness API is a free, public, read-only developer API from The Holistic Care that enables developers, AI applications, educational platforms and wellbeing products to access structured mindfulness resources programmatically. The API provides structured access to mindfulness games, guided practices, research resources, glossary concepts, educational resources and other approved public wellbeing content. It supports REST APIs with OpenAPI documentation and also provides a Model Context Protocol (MCP) interface, allowing AI assistants and autonomous agents to discover and retrieve approved mindfulness resources through a standardized protocol. The product also provides a production MCP server, registered as com.theholisticcare/open-mindfulness. The API is designed for developers, AI teams, EdTech companies, wellbeing platforms and organizations that want to integrate trustworthy mindfulness resources into their own digital products without building a mindfulness content knowledge base from scratch.
