However, it is their customer service team that seals the deal! **What do you dislike about ThankView?** I've only ever had one "issue" with the software which was quickly identified and resolved by customer service. As a customer of more than two years with more than 100,000 active contacts, the new pricing structure is a bit concerning for a state budget. However, our customer service representative has been helpful throughout our contract renewal to ensure that we get the best bang for our buck! **Recommendations to others considering ThankView:** If you're interested in using ThankView schedule a chat with them. The service you receive from their team along with the ease of product use should convince you! **What problems is ThankView solving and how is that benefiting you?** Initially, we purchased the software to assist in communication with existing donors. However, the global pandemic saw our usage increase 10fold. We are now communicating with non-donors, students, and community members. ### 3. There are things that pop up within building campaigns that I wish could be changed, but I have had success in reaching out to their customer reps to discuss the issues, and add ideas for change as feedback. **Recommendations to others considering ThankView:** Talk to others that use TV, to get insight and collect tips, enroll in the mentorship program. **What problems is ThankView solving and how is that benefiting you?** Connecting! Dynamic Stewardship! Reporting! We purchased TV a few weeks before the pandemic, and it was the best decision we made. We had to pivot to meet the moment, and knowing that printing/mailing donor acknowledgments was going to be difficult if not impossible, TV came along at just the right time. It allowed me to send all gift acknowledgments digitally, and the use of videos from many different faculty, administrators, staff, VP's and the president, offered Loyola an incredible opportunity to connect in a personal way during a very difficult time for us all. Moving ahead one year later, we have built a robust plan on how to incorporate TV across Donor Engagement, Annual Giving and Athletics (so far). We also purchased the Odder component for impact reporting and used that VERY successfully this past year. ### 4. The robust resource center allows users to search for almost any question or topic one might have and find an easy-to-understand answer or solution to those questions. I love the ability to see what new enhancements and integrations are in the works in the ThankView Roadmap. This transparency shows that ThankView is dedicated to continually improving their product and making things the best they can be for clients. **What do you dislike about ThankView?** I have not found any downsides to using ThankView and have been extremely happy with the product. **What problems is ThankView solving and how is that benefiting you?** We have been a long-time user of ThankView. We initially decided to pursue a video messaging product as an innovative stewardship tool for connecting scholarship donors and their recipients when an in-person meeting was not possible. ThankView was one of the first products we researched, and we were impressed with how easy things were to use. Fast forward to COVID times. The ability to digitally communicate amid slashed budgets and concerns over mailing printed materials has shown just how impactful and vital having a well-built video delivery platform could be. We had already been expanding usage across campus, but the pandemic fast-tracked this implementation. ThankView allowed our development and alumni relations communications across campus to pivot in a matter of days. ThankView is now an essential component of many communication and stewardship plans across campus and will continue to be going forward. ### 5. There is the ability to have a low production value as well as upload produced videos for a more formal touch. **What do you dislike about ThankView?** I feel there are some capabilities that are included that I do not even know about. It might not be the most user-friendly to teach yourself if you do not follow the trainings. **Recommendations to others considering ThankView:** This platform is a great tool to reach out to your donors with those unique, personal stewardship touches. The ability to customize videos and connect donors with students who they might not be able to see is invaluable. I find it easy to use when requesting students, staff, and donors to record a video. I love being able to see metrics, such as open rate, if the person watched 50% of the video, etc. When recently using ThankView for solicitations from our Head of School, the metrics were particularly helpful. **What do you dislike about ThankView?** One feature I would love to see ThankView come up with is the ability to send one ThankView to two email addresses (such as two spouses). I found myself in that predicament on our recent Giving Day- a day when you need processes to be as efficient as possible. Other than that, it's just tiny things that I've taken issue with- such as being able to edit the length of a video precisely, or not being able to fully see a window (specifically, the window when trimming the video) without having to scroll down. I also wish more characters were allowed within the ThankView email that is sent out to recipients. During the pandemic, we've been using ThankView to email tax acks, and I have JUST enough space for the tax language. **What problems is ThankView solving and how is that benefiting you?** When our offices shut down due to the pandemic, ThankView allowed us to send tax acks to donors when we were unable to mail them. ### 16. ThankView is an amazing product that provides ease of use on the back end with high-quality products to show the donors on the front end! The feedback that we have received from our donors has been wonderful. They like hearing from the students that they are supporting in an raw or "unedited" state. It shows our donors that the students care about the support they are receiving! **What do you dislike about ThankView?** While I have only been using the product for a few months, I have not found anything that I don't like about the product! I can see donor fatigue setting in quickly if we continuing using this product for only one purpose. We need to develop a comprehensive plan on how we will continue to utilize this to different markets, perhaps in the cold calling process. **Recommendations to others considering ThankView:** There are no other products out there that are like ThankView. The team is very thorough in demonstrating the product prior to purchase and they are very supportive if customer support is needed. Obviously with any software implementation, it is best to have a plan of how you will use it. I have no trouble showing students how to use it, though they also have no problems on their own. **What do you dislike about ThankView?** I wish it was integrated with our Raiser's Edge database, but I hear they're working on that! **Recommendations to others considering ThankView:** If you're looking for a new way to reach people, send anniversary videos, happy birthday greetings, holiday messages, or studnet- **What problems is ThankView solving and how is that benefiting you?** We're using ThankView to broaden the reach of our student call center. Those students also send thank yous to donors and anniversary gift reminders. ### 33.
